DÉBUT DU TOURNOI AVEC « RAMPAGE » JACKSON VS. CHAEL SONNEN ÀBellator 192 À LA ON JAN. 20

LOS ANGELES –Le support pour le Bellator MMA World Grand Prix 2018 Le tournoi des poids lourds a été mis en place.

 

À Bellator 192: Lima vs. MacDonald sur Janvier 20, 2018 au Forum de Los Angeles, le tournoi commencera avec l'ancien champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (37-12) affronter le célèbre voyou Chael Sonnen (30-15-1) dans un affrontement passionnant au premier tour. L'événement sera diffusé sur le réseau Paramount qui sera bientôt lancé.

 

Peu de temps après, Matt Mitrione (12-5) se réunira Roy Nelson (23-14) sur Février 16 à Bellator 194, un événement qui émanera de la Mohegan Sun Arena à Uncasville, Conn. En avril, le plus grand poids lourd de tous les temps Fedor Emelianenko (36-5, 1 Caroline du Nord) affronte l'ancien champion de l'UFC Frank Mir(18-11) à l'intérieur de l'Allstate Arena à Chicago dans un affrontement tant attendu. COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO (Novembre 28, 2017) – Après une année d'événements nationaux très compétitifs, boxeurs amateurs américains sont prêts à participer à la 2017 USA Boxing Elite Championnat National, Décembre 5-9, à Salt Lake City, Utah.
Avec jusqu'à six points dans chaque division déjà assuré, sur la base des résultats de la 2016 Elite Championnats nationaux, 2017 Elite Western Qualifier et 2017 Elite Eastern Qualifier, les taches restantes ont été remplies en fonction du processus d'application de la carte sauvage pour compléter le champ des boxeurs d'élite.

Las Vegas (Novembre 28, 2018) – After another successful event this past May over the Cinco de Mayo weekend, Box Fan Expo organizers are excited to announce the fourth annual Box Fan Expo, returning once again at the Las Vegas Convention Center sur May 5th, 2018.

Over the traditional and special Cinco de Mayo weekend which saw Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez battle with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., at the T-Mobile stadium in Las Vegas in 2017, the Box Fan Expo also took place, opening its doors to boxing fans from all over the world.
From Las Vegas, the boxing mecca of the world, enthusiastic fans from all over were able to meet and greet some of their favourite fighters, passé et présent. In addition to meeting their favourite fighters fans were also able to meet with the people behind such amazing organizations like Premier Boxing Champions, Promotions Mayweather, World Boxing Council, World Boxing Association, Supreme Boxing, La salle de boxe de la renommée du Nevada, Feroz Fight Factory, Kronk boxe, The American Boxing Association and many others.
The lucky fans who stayed throughout the full event had quite a treat with a special appearance by Floyd Mayweather Jr. who took time out of his busy schedule to honour the Box Fan Expo with an impromptu appearance towards the end of the show to support the Mayweather Promotions Team.

PARK CITY, Kansas (Novembre 27, 2017) – Due to an injury suffered by 2016 médaillé de bronze olympique Nico Hernandez last week at training camp, ce samedi nuit de “KO Night Boxing: Or & Gloire” carte, presented by KO Night Boxing LLC, has been postponed until Février 10, au même endroit, Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas.
The 21-year-old Hernandez was scheduled to headline the event in his hometown against Hungarian flyweight champion Jozsef “Petit rouge” Ajtai (19-9, 12 KOs) in the eight-round main event for the vacant International Boxing Association (IBA) Americas flyweight championship.
The promoter plans to keep the card intact, as much as possible, and he is hopeful that Ajtai is available to challenge Hernandez for the IBA Americas title.
“Injuries are an unfortunate part of boxing, but the good news is that Nico will be 100-percent ready to go February 10e,” organisateur John Andersen dit. “I know that Nico feels that he’s letting everybody down but, à la fin de la journée, all that really counts is his health. He’s a tough kid who has his entire pro career ahead of him.”
“Over the last six months, Nico has become like family to the Hartman Arena staff,” said Hartman Arena Executive Director, Ben Bolander. “We wish the best for him and hope for a speedy recovery, so we can see him back here in February fighting for the title.”
TIckets to the 2 décembre event will still be honored at the Février 10 événement. If ticket holders, are unable to attend the new event date, full refunds will be offered at the point of purchase. Tickets will remain on sale for the Février 10, 2018 event date.

Sampson Lewkowicz proudly announces that budding superstar, and WBC World Super Middleweight Champion, David “Le drapeau rouge / Red Flag” Benavidez has renewed his exclusive Sampson Boxing promotional agreement.
20-year-old Benavidez (19-0, 17 KOs), became the youngest super middleweight world champion in boxing history by winning a split decision over Romania’s Ronald Gavril last September. The Phoenix-based slugger says he’s happy to continue his promotional relationship with Lewkowicz.
“Sampson is a great promoter and he’s done a lot for me,” Ledit Benavidez. “He’s always treated me and my team with respect and I was eager to re-sign with him. I can’t wait to defend my title against the best and become the great fighter I am with Sampson on my team.”
Père, co-manager and trainer Jose Benavidez says signing with Sampson was an easy decision for Team Benavidez.
“We are all really happy and excited,” il dit. “We started with Sampson and he’s done a tremendous job. We are super satisfied with what he’s done and where we are at. We didn’t even think twice about it. I think when this contract ends, we’ll sign another one with him.”
Co-manager David Garcia says continuing with Sampson Boxing means more big fights are on the horizon for the young champion.

Isamary Aquino Brings Home Bronze Medal

GUWAHATI, Inde (Novembre 26, 2017) — Coachella, California-native Citlalli Ortiz closed out her impressive 2017 Women’s Youth World Championships campaign with a split decision victory over Russia’s Nataliya Sychugova to take her first major international title in Guwahati, Inde.
“Today feels like one of the best days of my life,” stated Ortiz following her win. “Après le combat, I doubted myself, but I am extremely happy I pulled out the win and it feels amazing being a world champion.”
Ortiz gold medal closes out a strong showing from the young American delegation. Team USA’s other medal, a bronze, was won yesterday by Isamary Aquino of Universal City, Texas.
“I am extremely proud of my performance at my first international tournament,” said Aquino following her medal ceremony. “It was an honor to be able to represent Team USA and bring home a world championship medal.”
The remaining members of the team included: Aidyl Cardenas (Calexico, Calif.),Diana Estrada (Hillsboro, Oregon), ciel Garcia (La montagne, Calif.), Roma Martinez (Humble, Texas), Sharahaya Moreu (Albuquerque, N.M.) et Amy Salinas(Les croix, N.m).
This year’s Youth World Championships brought 160 of the world’s top youth female boxers from 36 different countries all vying for one of the 10 world titles up for grabs. L'entraîneur-chef Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and assistant coaches Koroma (Colorado Springs, Colo.) et Jeff Mays (San Antonio, Texas) guided Team USA throughout these championships. The boxers and staff of USA Boxing will begin their journey back home to the United States demain.

Bethlehem, Pennsylvanie (Novembre 25, 2017) – Mykal Fox remained perfect by winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Manuel Reyes in the main event of a King’s Promotions promoted card this this past Mardi night at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center.
The show was dedicated to former King’s Promotions Director of Operations Desmond Hammond, who passed away last week.
