ЛОВЕЛЛ, Маса. (Фебруар 11, 2016) – Team Central had the edge in last night’s novice class semifinals of the New England Tournament of Champions, part of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Team Central had five individual winners, followed by Team South and Team West with three victories and Team North had two. The novice class finals of the N.E. Tournament of Champions will be held Четвртак, Јан. 18 at Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The Fight of the Night was the light heavyweight match of the novice class as Team South’s Henry Ventura (Н. Dartmouth, Мр) overcame two knockdowns to defeat Team North’s Tyler Jacques (Ст. Albans, , ВТ) who was dropped once and also had a standing eight count, by way of a unanimous decision (5-0).
Three remaining Central New England (Greater Lowell) open class final matches were also held last night. See all results below, as well as the remaining 2016 распоред.

Proceeds from the Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship go towards sending the New England Golden Gloves champions to the National Golden Gloves Championship (2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah), in addition to supporting local athletes and area gyms, the Boys & Гирлс Цлуб, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, cancer funds, scholarships and many other great charitable causes.
