On his opponent…

Representing Sonora, Messico, Alameda (25-0, 13 KO) is unbeaten since turning pro in 2014 after a strong amateur career, and will step up in competition as he faces Nery for a shot at a world title bout. The 26-year-old is ranked No. 12 by the WBC and most recently knocked out Jordan Escobar in April 2019, after three victories in 2018. Alameda will fight in the U.S. for the second time when he enters the ring on March 28, after scoring a body shot knockout over Andre Wilson in a January 2016 bout in Los Angeles.

“I’m very excited to be making my SHOWTIME debut in the main event against a great fighter,” said Alameda. “All of the years of training and fighting have brought me to this fight on March 28. Nery is a Mexican warrior like myself and I can’t wait to lock horns with him and give the fans great action all the way until the final bell.”

Il 29enne Wallin (20-1, 13 KO) will return to the ring in Las Vegas, where he nearly defeated former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in September, when he opened up a gruesome cut over Fury’s right eye with a legal punch that nearly halted the fight. While Wallin dropped the decision, he proved his mettle as a potential future heavyweight champion. Representing his native Sundsvall, Svezia, Wallin trains in New York with former champion Joey Gamache. Wallin’s last fight in Las Vegas was his second in the U.S., after his debut on SHOWTIME in April ended in a no contest because of a cut suffered by his opponent in the first round.

Fighting out of New South Wales, Australia, Browne (29-2, 25 KO) most recently scored a knockout victory over John Hopoate in November, his second win of 2019. He’s won four of his last five bouts, with his only career losses coming to Dillian Whyte and David Allen in the U.K. Browne won his first 25 lotte pro, including a stoppage of Ruslan Chagaev in 2016 to capture a WBA Heavyweight Championship. He will be making his U.S. debutto.

George (10-0, 6 KO) emerged victorious in a battle of then unbeaten fighters when he faced Escudero on SHOWTIME in November, taking a split-decision victory. The 30-year-old didn’t start boxing until he was 19 and is managed by Washington Redskins All-Pro offensive lineman Trent Williams, and trained in Houston by NFL All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson and James Cooper. George will look to transition from prospect to contender by defeating Escudero again on March 28.

Escudero (10-1, 9 KO) will look to bounce back and even the score against George, and in turn bolster his own position in the light heavyweight division. Davis And Gamboa Face Off For WBA Lightweight World Championship In Atlanta’s First World Title Fight In More Than 20 Years Next Saturday, Dicembre 28 In diretta su Showtime® From State Farm Arena

ATLANTA – Dicembre 18, 2019 – Quando Gervonta Davis e Yuriorkis Gamboaclash for the vacant WBA Lightweight World Championship on December 28 at the award-winning State Farm Arena in Atlanta, they’ll be making history in a long-underserved boxing hotbed that has hosted monumental fights featuring Hall of Famers Muhammad Ali and Evander Holyfield.

Prior to December 28, the last world title fight in Atlanta was unified heavyweight world champion Evander Holyfield’s IBF and WBA defenses against Vaughn Bean on September 19, 1998. SHOWTIME televised that bout live from the since-demolished Georgia Dome where 41,357 fans in attendance saw the Atlanta resident floor Bean in the 10th round en route to a unanimous decision victory.

Despite the strong turnout and festive atmosphere for Holyfield vs. Bean, the Hall of Famer Holyfield fought just four times in Atlanta in his 57 professional bouts spanning nearly three decades. The city did host Holyfield’s first title fight, a bout that is widely considered the best cruiserweight fight in history and one of the last great 15 round fights. Nel luglio 12, 1986, Holyfield challenged WBA Cruiserweight Champion Dwight Muhammad Qawi in a back-and-forth bout that Holyfield won by split decision to capture his first world title.

While Holyfield vs. Qawi is considered the best fight in Atlanta boxing history, the most significant and biggest event in the city was Muhammad Ali’s comeback fight in 1970. Ali had been stripped of his heavyweight title and exiled from boxing after being controversially convicted of draft evasion in 1967. While his case was still under appeal in the U.S. Supreme Court, Ali received a license to fight in Georgia for his first bout in more than three-and-a-half years. Ali stopped Jerry Quarry in the third round on October 26, 1970 at City Auditorium in an event that would mark his triumphant return. Ali’s conviction was overturned the following year in June of 1971, just three months after the “Fight of the Century” with Joe Frazier.

While Georgia has been home to a number of recent world champions, none have fought in Atlanta as titlists. The late two-division world champion Vernon Forrest was born in nearby Augusta and lived in Atlanta, however he never fought as a champion in the state’s capital. Allo stesso modo, former two-division champion Paul Williams, also of Augusta, fought just once in Atlanta in 2001 before he became champion.

Davis, who is on-track to sell out his third consecutive venue of the year in three different cities, is hoping to make big time boxing in Atlanta a permanent fixture.

“The spotlight will be on Atlanta,” ha detto Davis. “They haven’t had a big fight there in many years. So it’s a dream to bring big time boxing back just like I did in Baltimore. Atlanta welcomed me with open arms for so many years. I always knew I had a fan base and I always wanted to fight here. Now is the perfect time in my career for it to happen.

“Mentally I’m better than I’ve ever been. I’m hungrier and I feel like I did the first time I fought for the title. I’m always hungry, but I’m really excited for this fight.



“Sometimes losses make you better. My first loss was an accident, and I became better because of it. The loss to Marcus Browne, it wasn’t the fairest loss, but it’s made me even hungrier. I’m going to go out there and win the fight no matter what.



“People have written Pascal off a couple of times and he always came back. He’s a throwback fighter who definitely knows how to fight. He brings it every time. He’s got more mileage than me, but I can’t overlook a guy like him.



“I’m ready to do whatever it takes to win the fight. io sento 100% fisicamente. The cut was cleared in March, and we’re way past that. I’ve been ready physically and this camp has proved that to me and my whole team.

BLAIR “THE FLAIR” COBBS RETURNS TO THE RING NOVEMBER 2ND ON CANELO VS. KOVALEV CARD

LAS VEGAS, NV (Ottobre 10, 2019) – Boxing Prince Ranch contendente imbattuto dei pesi welter,Blair “The Flair” Cobbs (12-0-1, 8 KO), who is by promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, facce Carlos Ortiz (11-4, 11 KO) of Torreon, Messico, for the vacant NABF title. The 10-round bout will take place on November 2, 2019, as part of the undercard of Canelo Alvarez contro Sergey Kovalev al MGM Grand Garden Arena di Las Vegas, Nevada, which will air live on DAZN.

Blair’s last three opponents had a combined record of (29-1-1, 22 KO) making Cobbs one of the most battle-tested contenders in the welterweight division.

“We’re very excited with the way that Blair Cobbs has performed as a professional,” stated Greg Hannely, Cobbs manager. “He has defeated great opponents and is rising to the occasion each and every time he steps up in competition. Beverly Hills, Calif. (Giugno 5, 2019) – Undefeated super medi Cem Kilic will look to take another step towards the world rankings when he takes on Martez McGregor on Saturday, June 15th at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas.


The fight will be part of the Tyson Fury – Tom Schwarz undercard.

Kilic of Frankfort, Germania, who now calls Los Angeles, California home, ha un record di 13-0 con otto ko.

Il 24 year-old Kilic has upped his resume and reputation thanks to wins over Jerhed Fenderson (1-0), Joe Amouta (7-1-1), and a nationally televised win over DeAndre Ware (12-0-2).

Il 28 year-old McGregor has a win of previously undefeated Luis Jimenez (3-0). McGregor has won five in a row, which includes his last bout, when he stopped David Mason in the 1st round on February 22nd in Elk Grove, Illinois.


Kilic is the 1st fighter from Turkey to fight at The MGM Grand.

Kilic is managed by No Limit Mindset LLC. He is promoted by Greg Cohen Promotions.

LAS VEGAS, NV (Maggio 11, 2019) – Last night at the 2300 Arena di Philadelphia, Prince Ranch Boxing’s undefeated super bantamweight prospect, Raeese Aleem (14-0, 8 KO), remained undefeated with a first round knockout over Ramiro Robles (15-7-2, 9 KO). The scheduled 8-round bout was promoted by Marshall Kauffman’s King’s Promotions.

“After my last two fights fell through, I really wanted to make a statement in this fight and I got the KO in the first round,” said Aleem. “I’m hoping to get right back with after this momentous victory.”

“Aleem looked fantastic last night scoring a first round knockout,” ha detto il manager Greg Hannley di Principe Ranch Boxing. “He’s certainly one of the top prospects in the super bantamweight division. We’ll be looking to get him right back in there.”

La resa dei conti del titolo dei pesi medi dello scorso fine settimana tra Canelo Alvarez e Daniel Jacobs ha visto anche l'annuale Box Fan Expo, tenutosi presso il Las Vegas Convention Center. Gli incredibili cimeli in mostra e l'azione di boxe amatoriale dal vivo hanno completato una serie di combattenti campioni del mondo passati e presenti disponibili per rapidi incontri e saluti.

Come appassionato di boxe per tutta la vita, è stato un peccato che ho avuto solo poco più di due ore da trascorrere all'evento prima di tornare alla T-Mobile Arena per l'inizio degli incontri undercard. Il tempo che ho potuto trascorrere è stato davvero piacevole. I prezzi erano ragionevoli per incontrare queste leggende fistic e avere qualche momento per parlare e scattare foto. La media $20 -$25 il prezzo per un servizio fotografico era significativamente inferiore a quello che sarebbe andato perso al casinò in un singolo giro di roulette.

La mia visita non sarebbe completa senza fermarmi a vedere "The Pazmanian Devil" Vinny Paz, sempre uno dei miei combattenti d'azione preferiti e personalità carismatiche. Invece di una stretta di mano, mi ha salutato con un grande abbraccio ed ha espresso disappunto per il fatto che mio padre non si fosse unito a me all'expo.

Nel breve lasso di tempo, era impossibile incontrare tutti i grandi combattenti, incluso Michael Spinks, Riddick Bowe, Errol Spence, Anthony Dirrell, e Earnie Shavers. Essendo il weekend del Cinco de Mayo, le linee per alcune delle leggende messicane avvolte intorno al pavimento del centro congressi. Mikey Garcia, Marco Antonio Barerra, Erik Morales, e Juan Manuel Marquez si sono rivelati tutti eccezionalmente popolari. Ma niente in confronto al boato della folla filo-messicana quando è stato presentato il grande Julio Cesar Chavez.

Partecipare a questo evento è stato un sogno che si avvera e potevo solo desiderare di avere più tempo da trascorrere all'evento. Tutto è stato fatto in modo così professionale e i presenti sono stati estremamente accomodanti.
