Freitag Show wird von Thompson Boxing und Banner Promotions gefördert.
Die Einsätze nur wuchs noch mehr als zwei weitere Gurte haben zu jedem letzten Kampf wurde hinzugefügt.

ORANGE, Calif. (Mai 5, 2015) – Junior-Mittelgewicht Brandon Adams (16-1, 12 KOs) is returning to a familiar situation. After coming up short in last year’s Boxcino finals and suffering the only loss of his career, the Los Angeles-native dropped down one weight class and fought his way back to the 10-round championship fight.

Adams faces the smooth boxing skills of John Thompson (16-1, 5 KOs) von Newark, New Jersey on Friday, Mai 22, von der Omega Outdoor Arena in Corona, Calif. im Boxcino 2015 junior middleweight championship.

The Boxcino Finals is televised on ESPN “Friday Night Fights” (ESPN2 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT) and is co-promoted through Arthur Pelullo’s Banner Promotions and Ken Thompson’s Thompson Boxing Promotions.

“I’ve been in Los Angeles for training camp, getting good sparring,” Donovan Dennissagte,. “ich know Andrey will be ready, and so will I.”

“I’m glad that I’ve made it into the finals of this great tournament on ESPN,” Andrey Fedosov sagte,. “ich‘m training very hard in Los Angeles and I’m confident that I will win the fight.”

John Thompson reflects on Boxcino semifinal win and looks forward towards the final on May 22

Newark, NJ (April 21, 2015)— John “Apollo Kidd” Thompson has begun preparations for his Mai 22 Boxcino final bout against Brandon Adams. (17-1, 12 KO).
Der Kampf findet statt am Freitag, Mai 22 in Corona, California and will live on ESPNFreitag Night Fights.
Thompson is in Virginia, training under Kay Koroma and he is looking to win the prestigious tournament against Thompson in the 10-round bout at the Omega Products International Outdoor Arena in Corona, Kalifornien.
Thompson (16-1, 5 KO) is coming off a 8-round split decision over previously undefeated Stanyslav Skorokhod on April 10 in Bethlehem, PA.
“I outboxed the guy,” sagte Thompson. I focused on what I needed to focus on and that was using my jab. I also focused on not to exchange and bang with him and I did a pretty good job of that.”
“As well as I fought, I do not think that was even my best win.”
Now he looks towards Adams. Adams of Los Angeles has experience in the Boxcino finals as his only loss was to Willie Monroe Jr. in last year’s Middleweight finals.
“I am happy to be in the finals. This is an opportunity that will be the uprising of my career,” continued Thompson.
“Brandon is a brawler. He will have a few weeks to come up with a strategy to beat me.”
Said Thompson’s promoter, Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions, “I believe we are longer, been in tougher and the better boxer. Brandon is a good fighter but I think he is too green. I know he had a brief amateur career and he could be too green for John.”

CARSON, Calif. (April 18, 2015) – Confident and determined, Andrzej “The PolishFürst” Fonfara (27-3, 16 KOs) spoiled the ring return of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-2-1, 32 KOs) in resounding fashion Samstag Nacht, flooring the former middleweight champion one time en route to a one-sided ninth-round TKO in the main event ofShowtime Championship Boxing weiterleben SHOW TIME.

 

Fonfara, of Chicago by way of Radon, Polen, dropped Chavez, of Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexiko, with a wide left hook 50 seconds into the ninth round before a boisterous crowd of 8,636 predominately-Chavez fans at StubHub Center. It was the first time in 52 professional fights that Chavez had hit the canvas from a punch.

 

Upon returning to the corner, Chavez could be heard on the telecast telling trainer Joe Goossen that he had hurt his right leg and could no longer continue. Augenblicke später, the fight was halted. Said Chavez, the son of legendary Mexican icon, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr.. in the ring afterward and before he was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, “Kann Sein 170,172 pounds is too big for me, maybe I’ll go back down. I’m not sure what my future holds. It was a very tough fight. But I congratulate Andrzej.”

 

Goossen told reporters afterward that he had “stopped the fight. It was my decision. I didn’t like what I saw. ”

 

In the first half of a SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING doubleheader, undefeated world-ranked super lightweight Amir I (17-0, 14 KOs), of Davie, Fla., über Albany, N.Y., won a lopsided 10-round decision over Walter “Der Hammer” Schloss.

 

The talented, versatile, Ich habe, 24, controlled a fight that featured numerous exchanges especially early on with a left jab and straight right hand.

 

“My combinations were effective the whole night, we stuck to our gameplan and came out victorious,” said Imam. “I want any of the world champions next”.

I’m OK, but I definitely would love a rematch.”

 

In the SHOWTIME EXTREME co-feature, Superweltergewicht Omar “El Businessman”Chavez (33-3-1, 22 KOs), of Culiacan, the younger brother of Chavez, Jr. and son of legendary Julio Cesar Sr., won an exciting, hart erkämpften, give-and-take eight-round unanimous decision over Richard Gutierrez (28-16-1, 17 KOs), of Arjona, Kolumbien.

Chavez won by the scores of 78-75 zweimal und 77-74. There were no knockdowns.

Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO) is the reigning WBC and Ring Magazine middleweight world champion and the first native of Puerto Rico to become world champion in four different weight classes. He is the former WBO junior welterweight world champion, the former WBA welterweight world champion, the former WBO welterweight world champion and the former WBA super welterweight world champion. He also represented Puerto Rico in the 2000 Olympischen Spielen in Sydney, Australien. Cotto has had 22 world championship fights, compiling a record of 18-4 mit 15 knockouts in those bouts. In Puerto Rico, he is hailed as a national hero and the successor of Felix Trinidad as the island’s most revered boxer. Cotto is one of the biggest gate attractions in boxing and one of the largest pay-per-view draws among active fighters. Zuletzt, im Juni 2014, Cotto made history in his first fight as a middleweight by dominating Argentine southpaw and defending WBC and Ring Magazine Middleweight World Champion Sergio Martinez (51-2-2, 28 KO). A boxing hero in his native Australia and hailed as Tasmania’s 2012 Athlet des Jahres, Geale is Ring Magazine’s fourth rated middleweight in the world and the WBC’s number six rated contender. Brandon Adams und John Thompson won semifinal bouts in the Boxcino 2015 Jr. Middleweight Tournament while Andrey Fedosov und Donovan Dennis scored impressive stoppage victories in the Heavyweight tournament, as all four punched their tickets to the finals in bouts that took place this past Freitag im Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem.
The bouts were televised live on ESPN Freitag Night Fights.
The show was promoted by Banner Promotions, Inc.
The finals of both weight classes will take place on Freitag, Mai 22 an der Omega Products International Außen Arena in Corona, California and will be aired live on ESPN Freitag Night Fights.
Brandon Adams lands the uppercut
Adams took out longtime friend Vito Gasparyan in round seven of their scheduled 8-round bout.
Adams worked very well on the inside as he landed some solid shots to the head and landed to the body nicely. Gasparyan hung tough against his one-time sparring partner but the amount of solid punches began to show on Gasparyan and the bout was stopped 35 seconds into round seven with a badly swollen left ear.
Adams, 155 1/2 lbs of Los Angeles moves onto the finals with a record of 17-1 mit 12 Knockouts. Gasparyan, 154 lbs of Burbank, CA ist jetzt 15-4-5. Adams will not meet John Thompson.
John Thompson won an 8-round split decision over previously undefeated Stanyslav Skorokhod.
Thompson lands the right hand
Thompson boxed well early as he used his jab to set up three and four punch combinations, while Skorokhod landed some good power shots. Skorokhod was cut around his right eye in round two while Thompson suffered a cut in the same area in round four.
Thompson did well when the fight was in the center of the ring. Skorokhod landed several flush punches but it wasn’t enough as the judges preferred the boxing of Thompson to the tune of 78-74 und 77-75 while Skorokhod won a card 78-74.
Thompson, 154 3/4 Pfund Newark, NJ ist jetzt 16-1. Skorokhod, 153 3/4 lbs of Los Angeles via Ukraine is now 9-1.
“I had to box him as he was swinging wild. I outboxed him. He was just swinging and not throwing any straight shots,” sagte Thompson.
Dennis lands the knockout blow
Donovan Dennis

scored a highlight reel 2nd round stoppage over 6’7″ Razvan Cojnau.
Dennis landed a thudding straight left that landed flush on the chin of Cojanu and the big man fell flat on the canvas and the bout was stopped 59 seconds into round two.
“I used my speed, quick feet and combinations,” sagte Dennis. “I saw an opening in the first round and then in the second I came with an overhand left that landed right on the button and he crumbled to the canvas.”
The punch was so devastating that it was ESPN Sports Center top play of the night.
On fighting Andrey Fedosov in the finals, “It is going to be a tough fight and I will have to work harder.”
Dennis, 224 1/4 lbs von Davenport, IA is now 12-1 mit 10 Knockouts. Cojanu, 255 1/2 lbs of Los Angeles via Romania is now 13-2.
Andrey Fedosov shook off a first round knockdown to comeback and register a third round stoppage over Lenroy Thomas.
Fedosov works the body
Just seconds into the bout, Thomas landed a straight left and sent Fedosov to the canvas. Fedosov came back in round three and landed a ripping combination that led to Thomas to a knee and and he did not beat referee Gary Rosado’s count at 1:01 der dritten Runde.

BROOKLYN (April 12, 2015) – Premier Boxing Champions auf NBC mit zwei spannende Kämpfe zurück Samstag Nacht, als Danny “Schnell” Garcia (30-0, 17 KOs) unterlegen Lamont Peterson (33-3-1, 17 KOs) durch Mehrheitsbeschluss und “Irisch” Andy Lee (34-2-1, 24 KOs) und Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin (31-0-1, 22 KOs) gekämpft zu einem Split-Unentschieden bei Barclays Center.

 

Zweiten Hauptereignis des Abends sah der ungeschlagene Garcia pirschen die blitzschnell Peterson um den Ring, während konsequent Petersons Körper angreifen. Peterson zog auch in der ersten Hälfte des Kampfes, aber nicht beginnen Eingriff offensiv, bis den späteren Runden.

Speight delighted to secure Home Advantage

26 year old “The Genius” Jamie Speight has a wish come true on 16th Mai 2015 when he co-headlines the massive Goodwin Boxing “Master Class” bill at York Hall defending his Southern Area Featherweight title against Ian Bailey.

 

“I am over the moon at signing with Steve Goodwin” said Jamie “With everything he has done for me so far I could not be happier. This is the first time in years I have not had to go on the road and be the away fighter and have waited to be promoted as the home fighter for so long”.

 

Speight has had an up and down career but being sent as the away fighter meant that to Speight he never had the rub of the green or the advantage given to other fighters. Only two years ago Speight took Josh Warrington the distance in Warrington’s back yard and then subsequently lost a contentious decision to Lewis Pettitt once again in the opponent’s corner.

 

Mai 2014 and Speight once again was in the opponents corner when he stopped Craig Whyatt to win this belt he is now defending but now the time has come for Speight to enjoy home advantage.

 

“I just want a fair crack of the whip and with Steve now in control of my career I know I will get that. I need to win this title as the next day I am flying with the Goodwin team to Turkey for a training camp and that needs to be a celebration.” Speight added “My aim is the British title at Featherweight and provided I keep winning Steve has promised he will deliver that to me.”

 

“This is a tough fight. Ian Bailey does not receive the credit he deserves. Like myself Ian has taken short notice fights and yet stops people with winning records. We have given him 2 months notice so he can prepare as well as myself and may the best man win.”

 

The Speight v Bailey clash is one of vier 50/50 intriguing Southern Area title fights on the bill with drei masters titles as well making this one of the best non TV shows seen in London for a long time.

 

Adam Dingsdale defends his Southern Area Lightweight title against Prizefighter finalist Michael “Chunky” Devine.

 

Philip “Quicksilver” Bowes (9-1) challenges for the Light-Welterweight version against the unbeaten former Prizefighter Champion Johnny Coyle whilst Johnny Garton makes his second defence of the Welterweight version against former English title challenger Martin Welsh.

 

The charismatic Danny Connor competes for the International Masters Lightweight title whilst Hampshire’s “Dangerous” Danny Goode fights for the Masters Super Middleweight Title. Adam Salman completes the trio of Masters title bouts when he competes for the Light Welterweight version.

 

Two of Ricky Hatton’s “Upton Clan” Paul and Anthony continue their rise to the top with 6 runde Wettbewerbe.

 

The exciting Light Middleweight Joey Vaughan (1-0) has his first contest since signing with the Goodwin’s whilst the show sees the eagerly awaited debuts of Andrew Joicey (Weltergewicht) and Mwenya Chisanga (Light-Welterweight).
