Filadelfia – Enero 28, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions kicked off 2017 with a bang at 2300 Arena en el sur de Filadelfia. Philly boxing fans were treated to seven fights featuring undefeated, world class talent, headlined by four-time National Amateur Champion Jaron “Botas” Ennis versus Puerto Rico’s Elvin Perez.
Ennis remained undefeated when an early body shot brought Perez to his knees in the first round of their scheduled six round contest. Perez was unable to continue, and Ennis improved to 9-0, con 8 of his wins coming by knockout.
En el evento co-principal, local boxer/cop Manny locura sensationally knocked out Carlos Morgan (12-5, 6KO) en la primera ronda, bringing his record to 9-0, 7KO.
Carlos “El Tiburon” Sánchez (12-0, 11KO) was victorious in his 12th outing, stopping Somner Martin in the 3rd round. Coachella’s Lee Brandun (1-0, 1KO) won his debut over Indiana’s Christopher Johnson. Adam Daranyi was also successful in his ring return, knocking out Lenwood Dozier in the second round to improve to 10-0, 10KO.

Victory Boxing announced that it will return to 2300 Arena on March 31st, con “Filadelfia Strong,” a card that will feature six-time National Champion Dylan Price, along with Victory Boxing’s Philly favorites, Jaron “Botas” Ennis, Manny “Dolor mayor” Locura, Josué “Manos de Piedra” Jones. Local Philadelphia favorites Angel Pizarro and Darren Goodall will also be in action.
