WBO News – Headline Matches For This Weekend

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) will oversee seven headline bouts around the world this weekend, two of which are for world titles.

 

 

 

Starting Friday, 六月 8, 在維羅納, 紐約, WBO number one ranked Junior Featherweight Diego De La Hoya (20-0, 9 科斯) will defend his NABO 122 lbs title against José “糖” Salgado (35-4-2, 28 科斯) 在 10 輪決鬥中. WBO #12-rated Buitrago (30-3-1, 17 科斯) has had four unsuccessful title challenges, losing three times, along with one draw. He was stopped for the first time in his last fight this past December, by undefeated International Boxing Federation (IBF) Minimumweight World Champion Hiroto Kyoguchi (8-0), in the eighth round of their title fight in Japan.

The World Boxing Organization (WBO), chaired by Francisco ‘Paco’ Valcárcel, will have seven fights in different parts of the world this upcoming weekend.

In Australia, there will be a duel of unbeatens when the popular Australian Liam Paro (13-0, 9 KO的) faces Sebastian Bytyqi (11-0-1, 8 KO的) of the Czech Republic for the vacant WBO Youth Jr. Welterweight title. 戰鬥定於 10 rounds and it’ll take place at the Southport Sharks AFL Club in Southport.

德國, United States and Latvia Play Host to WBO Bouts

The World Boxing Organization (WBO), chaired by Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel, will celebrate five interesting title fights; two of which are for world championships. The bouts will take place this Saturday, 五月 12.

 

 

 

Brooklyn native Saddam “World Kid” Ali (26-1, 14 KO的), coming off the most important victory of his career against legendary Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto, makes the first defense of his WBO junior middleweight world title, when he faces the dangerous Mexican Jaime Munguía (28-0, 24 KO的). Lenin Castillo grabs WBO Gold in Ponce, 波多黎各

Ponce, 波多黎各 – Former Dominican Olympian Lenin Castillo (18-1-1, 13 KO的) won the WBO/NABO vacant light heavyweight title in impressive fashion. Castillo defeated Aaron “Homicide” 米切爾 (27-3-1, 21 KO的) of Florida by way of technical knockout in the 10th and final round.

Former Olympian Lenin Castillo (17-1-1, 12 KO的) from the Dominican Republic has signed with new Puerto Rican management company, Spartan Boxing Club, on his mission to be part of the big stages in boxing.
