Un segundo evento principal ha sido añadido al boxeo profesional evento en Viernes, Marzo 1, al Hard Rock Centro de Eventos en Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino en Hollywood, Fla., y vivir en Boxeo Telemundo (11:35 PM ET / PT).

Shields was the first American boxer in history – male or female – to win consecutive Olympic gold medals. La Flint, Mich., native turned professional following the 2016 Olympics and became unified women’s super middleweight world champion in just her fourth professional fight. Shields moved down to middleweight for her June 22 headliner on SHOWTIME, defeating Hanna Gabriels to win the IBF and WBA titles and become a two-division champion in just her sixth professional contest. After Hammer was named WBC Champion in Recess due to her medical issue, Shields picked up the vacant WBC title last November with a unanimous decision over Hannah Rankin. She most recently defended all three titles in December against Femke Hermans.



Martillo, of Dortmund, Alemania, has been the dominant force in the women’s middleweight division since winning the WBO title in 2010. Hammer became unified champion in 2016 with a unanimous decision over WBC titlist Kali Reis and made four defenses as unified champion. In her eight years as champion, Hammer has lost just a handful of rounds across 16 peleas de título mundial. Martillo, who also models professionally and was recently featured at Fashion Week in New York City, made her U.S. debut on June 22 after campaigning mostly in Germany since turning professional in 2009. El Programa Libre de Drogas para Niños de la OMB continúa impactando a los niños puertorriqueños

En un ambiente festivo y familiar, la Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB), a través de su exitoso programa WBO Kids Drug Free, bicicletas entregadas, material escolar y material deportivo a los niños de Cubuy en la localidad de Canóvanas, Puerto Rico.

El evento fue dirigido por el presidente de la OMB Francisco 'Paco’ Valcárcel, Esq, coach Jesús ‘Chuito’ Ayala, y el árbitro José H. Rivera.

“Todos los días trabajamos con niños para ser campeones del mundo en el ring o, más importante, en la vida. Trabajamos para ser disciplinado de por vida. Agradecemos a la OMB por ayudar en este proceso con su actividades para los niños, quienes son el futuro ", dijo el entrenador Ayala.

El presidente de la OMB, Valcárcel, les dijo a todos presente que “el trabajo que todos están haciendo aquí es tremendo. Gracias a gente como 'Chuito', que trabajan muy duro y desinteresadamente en beneficio de la niños, que son nuestra prioridad. Aquí les damos algunos regalos que pueden llevarse casa porque se portaron bien. Si respetan a sus mayores, comportarse bien, y respetar a sus padres, llegarán los Reyes Magos ”.

Participando en el evento fueron interinos Víctor Bisbal, campeón latino de peso pesado de la OMB, WBO Latino Jr. Peso welter campeón Jean Carlos “Lobo” Torres, OMB / NABO Jr. Campeón de peso mosca Wilfredo “Bimbito” Méndez, WBO Latino Jr. Campeón de peso gallo Yenifel Vicente, and WBO Latino Featherweight Champion Luis “Popeye” Lebrón. Otros boxeadores que estaban estuvieron presentes Alberto Mercado y David Reyes y el boxeador aficionado Armani “El Legado ”Alméstica.

También en el evento estuvieron los gerentes Raúl Pastrana, Margaro Cruz and José Ortíz; entrenadores Jesís “Tongui” Ortiz, Yoel “Yowy” González, and Oro Lebrón. El árbitro Roberto Ramírez,Jr., físico DJ entrenador y nutricionista, y el vicepresidente del Spartan Boxing Club Mayra Pastrana también asistió al evento. WBO Kids Drug Free es un programa dirigido a niños y jóvenes con el fin de llevar un mensaje de drogas prevención y motivarlos a seguir estudiando, utilizando el deporte como herramienta para mantente en el camino correcto, así como que apoye las causas dirigidas a los necesitados para asegurar una mejor calidad de vida.

Aston Palice (24-2-1, 20 KOs) takes on unbeaten Jose “Chiquiro”
Martínez (20-0-2, 13 KOs) in a World Boxing Organization (OMB)
junior bantamweight title eliminator on Thursday, Enero 31, at Viejas Casino & Resort in Alpine, California.



Palicte vs.Martinez will headline a soon-to-be-announced card in the 12-round main event, held on the Thursday night of Super Bowl week, in the Oak Ballroom. Viejas Casino & Resort is located 35 miles outside of San Diego.

Palicte and Martinez will continue a Philippines-Puerto Rico boxing

Junior bantamweight title this past September in Inglewood, California. Many at ringside felt that Palicte should have won the Filipino showdown, based on his relentless pressure and considerably higher activity rate, throwing 300-plus more punches than Nietes.

El programa WBO Kids Drug Free impactó a los niños de Aguas Buenas

Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico – Con su constante compromiso social, la Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB), presidido por Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel, Esq, y a través del programa WBO Kids Drug Free, trajo alegría y regalos para los niños del 'Centro Educativo: Tocar, Explorar & Learn "y" Hacienda Don Antonio ". Ambos centros están ubicados en la ciudad de Aguas Buenas.

Durante el evento ocupado que tuvo lugar en el gimnasio municipal de boxeo de Aguas Buenas, los niños recibió mochilas con útiles escolares y artículos deportivos. También, motivacional se dieron discursos, se rifaron bicicletas, y les sirvieron el almuerzo.

“No tenemos palabras por lo que hizo la OMB por nuestra ciudad. Fue la segunda vez este año nuestro niños vieron a la OMB visitándonos y ayudándonos. En el futuro, esto reflejará en sus vidas. Nuestra gratitud es infinita. Gracias Paco, por este gesto de amor”, said the mayor of Aguas Buenas, Javier García Pérez.

“Gracias a alcalde por poner el deporte de su ciudad en primer lugar. Estas actividades sirven para motivar, pero lo más importante es que tenemos que ser consistentes en manteniendo eso. Esto no se hace de la noche a la mañana; este es un proceso que trabajamos con mucho cariño y a largo plazo, vemos resultados extraordinarios”, Valcárcel dijo.

El Latino Interino de la OMB Campeón de peso pesado Víctor Bisbal, WBO Latino Jr. Campeón de Welter Jean Carlos "Lobo" Torres, Campeón de peso mosca OMB / NABO Jonathan “Bomba” González, y WBA El Campeón Mundial de Peso Pluma Jesús Rojas participó como voluntario, junto con prospectos Yomar Álamo, Emmanuel “Tito” Morales, Alfredo “El Salsero” Cruz, Patrick Cora y John Karl Sosa. El boxeo amateur estuvo representado con el presencia de Alexamil Cotto, Tatiana Ortiz, Ryan Montes, Ramón Montes, Kenneth Molina, Ivan Silva, Yadel Hernández, Gabriel Menard, Joshua Carrión, Carlos Rivera, Carlos Díaz, Ángel Javier, Christian Rivera y Adrián Ortiz.

También estuvo presente el manager Orlando Piñero, trainers Álex Caraballo, Jesús “Tongui” Ortiz, Yoel “Yowy” González, Félix Pagán Pintor, Armando Álamo, Efraín Román, Eliezer González and Edwin Delgado. The professional boxing referees Luis Pabón, José Hiram Rivera, Melva Santos y Roberto Ramírez,Jr también estuvieron presentes, como así como el juez de boxeo profesional Luis Ruiz. De la OMB, otro que Valcárcel, asesor legal Gustavo Olivieri,Esq, tesorero Adolfo Flores, y el Vicepresidente del Comité del Campeonato Enrique Mendoza, Esq también estaban en la actividad.

WBO Kids Drug Free es un programa internacional dirigido a niños y jóvenes con el fin de llevar un mensaje de prevención del consumo de drogas y motivarlos a seguir estudiando y usar el deporte como herramienta para mantenerse en el camino correcto, además de que el apoyo provoca dirigido a los más necesitados para contribuir a una mejor calidad de vida.
