**QUÉBEC, Ontario, Canada** (Mars 24, 2021) - Fraîchement sorti de son récent arrêt au troisième tour de **Sylvera «Sly» Louis** dans leur combat revanche, World Boxing Council (WBC) Ne Pas. 1 poids de pont évalué **Oscar "Kaboom" Rivas** (27-1, 19 KOs) a pour mission spéciale non seulement de devenir le premier champion du monde des poids bridger, mais également de remporter la couronne mondiale des poids lourds.

Après avoir réussi à renverser mon adversaire (Louis) dans le premier tour, mon entraîneur m'a demandé de profiter de l'opportunité de boxer car je n'avais pas combattu 20 mois. Je n’étais pas monté sur le ring et c’est ce dont j’apprécie chaque minute. »

Même s'il est sur le point de remporter son premier titre mondial, en tant que combattant poids pont, Rivas ne sera pas pleinement satisfait sans devenir champion du monde en 2 divisions.

«Je veux être le champion du monde des poids bridger et des poids lourds sans aucun doute," il expliqua. «Ma mission est intemporelle. Pour certaines raisons, les grands garçons de la division des poids lourds ne veulent pas me battre. Il y aurait eu de bonnes raisons pour **Dillian Whyte** pour me donner une revanche, pour dissiper les doutes! J'aime **Tyson Fury** mais quand il cherchait un partenaire de danse en décembre dernier, mon nom a été abandonné en premier même si nous avions le même promoteur. Je ne peux que supposer qu'ils considèrent que je suis trop dangereux pour eux. En devenant le champion du monde poids bridger WBC, Je suppose que ces grands garçons seront plus intrigués de me battre, et je ne peux pas attendre. Maintenant, plus que jamais.

«Je suis un poids lourd et j'ai toujours essayé de rester sous 235 livres tout au long de ma carrière pour exploiter ma vitesse, alors la classe de poids bridger est devenue un choix naturel pour moi. Maintenant, Je vise à devenir champion du monde dans deux divisions. Apportez-les tous!"

**UNCASVILLE, Conn. - Mars 13, 2021 -** Ancien champion du monde deux fois **David Benavidez** kept his perfect ring record intact with an 11^e-round technical knockout victory against veteran **Ronald Ellis** in their WBC Super Middleweight Title Eliminator main event on Saturday night’s SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING telecast, en direct sur SHOWTIME de Mohegan Sun Arena à Uncasville, Connecticut, dans un événement Premier Boxing Champions.

Unhappy birthday coming up for undefeated lightweight prospect Jamaine “The Technician” Ortiz

WORCESTER, Masse. Davtaev Replaces Otto Wallin, Who Was Forced To Withdraw Due To Minor Injury

NEW YORK – Février 26 – Undefeated heavyweight power puncherApti Davtaev fera face à vétéranLucas Browne in the 10-round co-main event of SHOWTIME BOXING: SPECIAL EDITION on Saturday, Mars 28, en direct sur Showtime(10 p.m. HE / 7 h, heure. He trains at Kronk Gym in Detroit, Michigan, under the tutelage of SugarHill Steward, nephew of legendary Hall of Fame trainer Emanuel Steward.

“Otto suffered a minor injury and suspending training was the smart thing to do,” said Wallin’s promoter Dmitriy Salita. “He will be back in the ring in no time. Heureusement, Apti was in top shape and ready to go. He is a gifted heavyweight and he’ll be on everyone’s radar after March 28.”

In his last outing on February 21, the six-foot-five-inch Davtaev handed previously unbeaten John Napari his first defeat with a vicious second-round knockout. A few weeks prior, en janvier 10, he scored an impressive third-round stoppage over veteran Keith Barr. This is his fifth start in the U.S. and first nationally televised bout.

Rising light heavyweight prospects Joseph George (10-0, 6 KOs) and Marcos Escudero (10-1, 9 KOs) open the telecast with a 10-round rematch of their NovemberShoBox showdown that saw George win a narrow-split decision.

Veteran broadcaster Brian Custer will serve as telecast host with versatile combat sportscaster Mauro Ranallo calling the action alongside Hall of Fame analyst Al Bernstein and former two-division world champion Paulie Malignaggi. Training Camp: “Everything here has been good. I’m ready to rock and get back in the ring. I’ll have no trouble making weight for this fight. My sparring partners are local guys, some pros, and other amateurs. I like helping up-and-coming fighters who want to turn pro. They have natural speed at 18, 19 ans, but their strength hasn’t fully developed, yet. They learn and I get good work. My No. 1 sparring partner, Limon, has had more than 100 amateur fights. His style is similar to Alamo’s. He’s tall and lengthy, but not as powerful as Alamo. He throws great jabs and boxes well, which will help me when I fight Alamo.

Yomar Alamo: “He fights off his back foot a lot. He likes to box and is a good counter-puncher.

He’s undefeated but who knows how he wants to fight? I like razzle-dazzle and I’ll quickly learn what I’m in for.”

Fighting in Alamo’s backyard: “I’m not concerned about that at all. My first fight with RJJ Boxing was in Las Vegas against a local fighter, Chuy Gutierrez, and I won that fight. I don’t mind fighting in my opponent’s backyard and I’m getting used to it. My last fight was in Reno against a California fighter, who lived a lot closer to Reno than I do in San Antonio. And I fought a local fighter in New Hampshire, when I had a bare-knuckle fight.”

How do you envision this fight going: “Alamo will go into the fight thinking it’s going to be a boxing match, almost like an exhibition starting the fight. But I’m going to go in strong, like a street fight, banging him around. I’ll catch him with some surprises, throwing hard blows. In the third or fourth round, I’ll start boxing more. Then it’s going to be too much for him, and I’ll take him out in the eighth or ninth round.”

Bout importance: “I think I’ll possibly get a world championship eliminator fight with an impressive victory. I’m a rare, old-fashioned boxer.”
