Las fegasi (July 16, 2025) – Three-division world champion and Hall of Famer Shane Mosley has confirmed that he will appear at the Eighth Annual Box Fan Expo on Saturday September 13, 2025 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 10 a.m. si 5 p.m. The Expo will also coincide with the mega fight between Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, that will take place later that evening at the Allegiant Stadium.

About Shane Mosley

“Sugar” Shane Mosley, is a globally respected boxing icon and Hall of Famer. He competed from 1993 si 2016. Roy Jones Jr. is an American professional boxer who has captured numerous championships in the Middleweight, Super middleweight, Light heavyweight and Heavyweight divisions. He is the only boxer in history to start his career as a junior middleweight, and go on to win a heavyweight title. He is also noted for holding the WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO, Nabf, WBF, and IBA light heavyweight championships; a record seven belts at the same time. Jones left his mark in boxing history when he won the WBA heavyweight title, becoming the first former middleweight champion to win a Heavyweight title in 106 years. As of February 2018, Jones holds the record for the most wins in unified light heavyweight title bouts in boxing history, at twelve. USA Boxing Alumni Association tribute & fundraiser for N.E. greats Vinny Paz & Micky Ward a major success

United Igba riru, Ipele. (Kínní 26, 2019) – USA Boxing Alumni Association’s tribute this past weekend to two of New England’s all-time greatest amateur boxers, VinnyThe Pazmanian DevilPaz ati “Irish” Micky Ward, was a major success at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island.

A sold-out fundraiser to benefit the USA Boxing Alumni Association was held at Fred & Steve’s Steakhouse on Friday evening, honoring Paz and Ward, in addition to Hall of Fame referee Steve Smoger, who officiated numerous fights for both fighters.

Paz and Ward held a meet-and-greet Saturday night, prior to a CES Boxing event, as the popular boxers signed autographs and posed for pictures. They were brought into the ring, along with Smoger, and received a standing applause from the large crowd in attendance.



USA Boxing Alumni Association’s back-to-back nights at Twin River raised $3,000 (including proceeds from Sportsworld’s memorabilia auction) and added 20 new alumni members, including Paz, to its growing ranks.

We were part of a magical weekend,” wi Al Valenti, USA Boxing Special Projects Consultant. “Vinny and Micky greeted so many of their fans. It is without question that these two warriors define what the USA Boxing Alumni Association is all about: bringing together so many members from so many years past that built the future for so many young boxers. It was especially rewarding to see past boxers, coaches and officials flock to Vinny and Micky. The entire two-day experience at Twin River Casino was packed with memories that we will all hold onto for years to come. We’d like to thank Jimmy Burchfield (CES Boxing) for his hospitality and hosting Saturday evening’s event.

Baltimore Boxing returns with “Super Brawl of Boxing” January 26

Baltimore, Dókítà (January 9, 2018) – Jake Smith Baltimore Boxing will host their first show of 2018 when they present the “Super Brawl of Boxing” Friday, January 26 at Michael’s Eighth Ave in Glen Burnie, Dókítà.

Baltimore Boxing is also pleased to announce that 5-time world champion and the subject of the movie “Bleed for This” Vinny Paz will be on hand to meet fans. Paz is a regular at Baltimore Boxing cards and local fight fans have adopted him as if he were one of their own.
This Olympic style boxing card is headlined by a title unification between Maryland State Middleweight champ Deshawn “Soulsnatcher” Chase of Baltimore Boxing and East Coast belt holder Marquis Moore of Salisbury’s Main Street Boxing Gym. Chase is one of Baltimore’s better amateurs and a regular at Michael’s Eighth while Moore is a well-schooled boxer that believes both titles will be his come the 26th.
This excellent evening of boxing also feature the debut of former NFL player Leon Joe. A standout linebacker at the University of Maryland, Joe was listed by Street & Smith as an All American Honorable mention in 2003. The next year, the Chicago Bears drafted Joe in the 4th round and he played in Super Bowl XLI. He later spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions before playing two years in the Canadian Football League.
Baltimore Boxing’s ‘Super Brawl of Boxing” also serves as a fundraiser for Tina Frost. Lori October 1, Frost was shot in the head during the mass shooting in Las Vegas. Her right eye was removed and spent time in a rehab facility. Originally from Baltimore, the 28-year-old Frost was working as a CPA for Ernst & Young in San Diego but is back in Maryland with her family. While Frost’s made great progress, she has a long way to and a mound of medical bills that will only continue to grow.

Topping this outstanding evening of action is a ten round cruiserweight title showdown between NABA champion “Slick” Nick Kisner of Baltimore and former champion Alex Guerrero.

American Legend Set To Descend On London Boxing Gym In Celebration Of Film About His Career

On Monday 28th Kọkànlá Oṣù, Vinny lazaza, the subject of forthcoming Hollywood movie BLEED FOR THIS, will descend on pro boxer Ben Day’s Ringtone Gym in Euston, London for a series of press interviews, ahead of a special private screening of the film that evening. BLEED FOR THIS goes on general release in the UK on Friday 2nd December.

 

BLEED FOR THIS is based on the incredible true story of Vinny Pazienza, who is played by Miles Teller in the movie, one of the few American boxers to hold World Titles in three different weight categories, who suffered a near-fatal car accident at the peak of his career. Told he would never walk again. Vinny spent months recovering in a neck brace until, against doctors’ orders and without their knowledge, he returned to the gym. With support of trainer Kevin Rooney, played by Aaron Eckhart in the movie, “The Pazmanian Devil” made a triumphant return to the ring just over a year later.

 

Written and directed by Ben Younger (Boiler Room), BLEED FOR THIS is executive produced by RAGING BULL director Martin Scorsese. Miles Teller (Whiplash, War Dogs) stars as Vinny alongside Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight, Sully) as Pazienza’s trainer Kevin Rooney. The Supporting cast includes Ciarán Hinds, Ted Levine and Katey Sagal.
