LAS VEGAS, Nevada — LFA CEO Ed Soares announced today that the promotion will make its second trip to the capital city of Brazil in July with a Championship Headliner at LFA 212. The main event will feature an interim flyweight title fight between two of South America’s most decorated prospects. This interim title defense became necessary as the promotion awaits the status of its sitting champion Eduardo Chapolin, who is currently competing on the UFC’s thirty-third season of The Ultimate Fighter.

This will be the twenty-third LFA event to take place in Brazil and it will celebrate the promotion’s international expansion that began four summer’s ago. LFA 212 will take place in the Federal District, which makes it the third LFA event to take place in the Central-West Region of Brazil. LFA has also visited the Brazilian states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Pernambuco, and Mato Grosso.

“We are excited to bring the LFA Interim Flyweight Championship to the capital city of Brazil,” stated Soares.“The LFA began its international expansion in July of 2021. We have since hosted 22 events in Brazil in the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Pernambuco, and Mato Grosso as well as the Federal District. LFA 212 will be our second event in the nation’s capital city of Brasília and we will celebrate our 4-year-anniversary in the country with a title fight. What makes this title fight even more exciting is the fact that it features two of South America’s most decorated prospects. Marcos Degli(Brazília) and Oscar Miguel (Peru) will also rekindle a Brazil vs. Latin America fight tradition that started in the LFA last July.” 

Degli (12-3) started his year in February by becoming the LFA’s fourteenth flyweight champion. He did this by defeating fellow top prospect Lincon Santos in the co-main event of LFA 201. The crowning moment came when Degli landed a beautiful Left Hook to knock out the fellow Brazilian National Muay Thai champion in the second round of their interim flyweight title fight. The interim title shot became available to Degli after the LFA’s sitting flyweight champion Eduardo Chapolin was cast to compete on the UFC’s thirty-third season of The Ultimate Fighter. Degli’s win over Santos ran his LFA record to 4-0 and earned him a gold belt to go along with his BJJ black belt. Viszont, instead of waiting on Chapolin, Degli jumped at the opportunity to defend his interim title much like LFA great Charles Johnson did four summer’s ago.

Degli was also eager to face the biggest challenge in his division, who happens to reside on the other side of his continent. That would be none other than Peruvian kingpin Oscar Miguel. Degli vs. Miguel also rekindles the Brazil vs. Latin America rivalry that began last July at LFA 187, when the LFA hosted a team challenge between the two most dominant factions of MMA talent in the southern hemisphere.

Miguel (14-1) is one of the most beloved fighters to hail from the “Land of Incas”. Peru has in fact experienced its Golden Era in MMA over the past few years with Claudio Puelles, Daniel Marcos, Jose Ochoa, Kevin Borjas, Luis Pajuelo, Rolando Bedoya, Jesus Pinedo, James Llontop, and Enrique Barzola all reaching the pinnacle of the sport by competing in the UFC. That success has also carried over to the LFA Octagon, where both Rodrigo Vera and Abraham Racho just won their LFA debuts impressively at LFA 209. Miguel will now become just the second Peruvian fighter to fight for an LFA title and to headline an LFA event after his countrywoman Sandra Lavado became the first to accomplish both these feats two summers ago at LFA 164. LAS VEGAS, Nevada — LFA CEO Ed Soares announced today that the promotion will return to Brazil in November with a Championship Headliner at LFA 197. A fő esemény, the interim women’s strawweight title will be on the line.

This will be the nineteenth LFA event to take place in Brazil after the promotion’s international expansion began in the summer of 2021. Natasha Kuziutina is a three-time Olympian in Judo and the first woman from Russia to win an LFA title. The winner will get a chance to unify the title against current champion Rose Conceição early next year.”

Kuziutina (6-1) is the first woman from Russia to win an LFA title, és még egyszer, she is looking to do something that has never been done. Kuziutina won the title by defeating five-time IBJJF champion Giovanna Canuto at LFA 173. She then defended her title for the first time in August by defeating longtime Bellator standout Bruna Ellen in the main event of LFA 189.

Prior to her MMA success, Kuziutina enjoyed an incredible Judo career and is now the most decorated judoka to ever compete in the strawweight division of MMA. She has represented Russia at the 2012, 2016, és 2020 (took place in 2021) Nyári olimpiai játékok. It was at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil, where she earned an Olympic bronze medal. She now heads back to Brazil for her second title defense making her the first woman to headline LFA events on two continents.

The Brazilian dynamo built her name and reputation by competing successfully in both sports throughout Europe and the Middle East. She now looks to capture LFA gold, while defending home turf, as Brazilians have never lost an LFA main event in Brazil.

The RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS event is part of the 40th Nayarit National Festival, which is celebrated between March 10 és 27. The festival displays the cultural identity of Nayarit, like the Indigenous community, also providing entertainment by offering regional artists at national and international events. It attracts between 20,000 és 30,000 people each day of the festival.

The four 19-year-old Mexican fighters have a combined pro record of 24-0 (15 KO): lightweights Jorge “Jorgito” Lugo Cota (7-0, 5 KO) and Marco Cota Moreno (5-0, 4 KO), as well as twin Tepic brothers, featherweight Hector “Tigre” Perez Cruz (6-0, 5 KO) and super featherweight Paolo “Leon” Perez Cruz (6-0, 5 KO).

The Mexican quartet had an incredible 470-24 amatőr rekordot: Lugo (155-15), Moreno (146-4), Paul (86-2) and Hector (83-3) Kereszt.

Cota, who has become a semi-regular fighting on RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS shows, is matched against Ricardo “Palmito” Badillo Rodriguez (7-2-2, 1 KO), A Tepic, in a 6-round match. Cota is the youngest member of the famed Mexican fightin’ Montiel family, led by 3-division world champion Fernando Montiel.

Moreno was a decorated amateur boxer who captured five-Sonora State championship titles. He will meet Jonathan Zuniga (6-3, 3 KO) in a 4-round fight.

LAS VEGAS (Január 27, 2022) — The semifinals of the World Cup Boxing Series’ (WCBS) inaugural “4-Man Lightweight Tournament,” presented by Roy Jones Jr. (RJJ) Boksz promóciók, has the potential to have two instant classics on February 24th.

A Bokszvilágtanács (WBC) has sanctioned the WCBS’ “4-Man lightweight Tournament,” created by CEO Terry Hollan and matchmaker Guy Taylor, and the winner will be crowned the WBC Latino Lightweight Champion, as well as positioned in the WBC’s top 15 értékelések.

I know my opponent is a southpaw, but I really don’t care to know much about him. He has very good skills but that doesn’t bother me at all.


“I like to box on the outside, keep my distance, and control the pace. I think this fight is going to be a war! I am very excited for this match-up and I hope Torres is ready for a fight. I will win this fight by decision.”

Also scheduled to be streamed on RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS are a pair of additional lightweight bouts.


Venezuelan knockout artist Fradimil Macayo (15-1, 13 KO) faces unbeaten Mexican fighter Armando Ramirez (5-0-1,2 KO) 8 körös viadalon.

Dominguez vs. Williams, Jr. is a classic contrast of styles, featuring a pair of gifted, undefeated welterweights seemingly on the verge of stardom.

RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS has helped boxers develop their skills in highly competitive matches, in addition to providing invaluable exposure worldwide, mivel 2019 despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The heavy-handed Dominguez, who is a former NABF Welterweight Champion and past No. 15-rated in the world, stopped former WBA World title challenger Jesus “Chino” Antonio Rubio (13-4, 7 KO) for the vacant WBC Latino strap in the October 15th main event in Mexico. It was Dominguez’ only fight in nearly a year because he needed to give his body a break. Dominguez improved to 5-0 (4 KO) fighting career-wise on RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS.

The 22-year-old Williams, fighting out of Fayetteville, North Carolina, is trained by living legend Roy Jones, Jr. Last March in Biloxi, Mississippi, Williams defeated Starr Johnson, who couldn’t continue after the opening round. Williams improved to 2-0 (2 KO) on RJJ Boxing on UFC FIGHT PASS.

“Santiago is a throwback Mexican fighter, who stands 5’ 8” and was born in Ciudad Obregon Sonora, Mexikó, just like his hero, the great Julio Cesar Chavez, Sr.,” Taylor added. “Williams, Jr. is a flashy, fast-footed boxer with lightning-quick hands who stands 6’ 1”. To put that in context for a welterweight, Michael is the same height as Hall of Famer Thomas ‘Hitman’ Hearns. Williams is also trained by arguably the greatest all-around fighter, Roy Jones. Jr.”
