Seo Márta seo caite 6ú, Williams (18-5-2, 6 Kos) was originally supposed to fight Foreman, who withdrew after the weigh in due to sickness. Williams stayed in training camp, took a stay busy fight, and continued preparing for Foreman.

Williams won an 8-round majority decision against Foreman (35-4, 10 Kos) two weeks ago this Saturday in Atlanta for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) International and American Boxing Federation (ABF) Stáit Aontaithe Mheiriceá super welterweight championships.

Foreman, troid as Brooklyn, captured the World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight World title in 2009, when he won a unanimous 12-round decision versus defending champion Daniel Santos (32-3-1). Williams and Foreman sparred many years ago at the Joe Grier Boxing Academy in Patterson, New Jersey.

“I’ve been chasing him a long time,” Williams noted. “I stayed in camp when our fight was canceled, took a confidence-building fight, and stayed ready for Yuri. He is a good boxer, not a brawler, and he was in tremendous shape. Yuri’s very intelligent in the ring and fighting him was a good learning experience for me. Mar shampla, he was working behind his jab to try and get me to lunge. I had to think more in the ring against him.

“I’m sure he was disappointed after the fight, but he’s a world champion who was in against Miguel Cotto and two of his other losses were to world champions (Cotto andErislandy Lara). This was a huge opportunity for me. I’m excited about my career again. We’ll wait and see what fights are ahead for me.

Marston le Dúshlán a thabhairt do Tshabalala as a Coróin Dhomhanda an 2 Iúil

Le seachtain anuas nó mar sin tá preas an Domhain ag díriú go mór ar na rudaí a fógraíodh le déanaí 9ú Iúil Tyson Fury-Wladimir Klitschko Athsheoladh Chraobhchomórtais Trom-mheáchain Aontaithe WBO-WBA-IBO. Ceart go leor mar sin, is troid an-mhór é, seachtain amháin roimhe sin, áfach, tá beart aontaithe atá chomh suntasach céanna leis an Domhan ar siúl anseo sa Ríocht Aontaithe.

Iúil 2ú, ag an Arena UK i Grantham, Lincolnshire, Domhanda #15 agus na Breataine #1 ní amháin go mbeidh Marianne Marston rangaithe ag tabhairt dúshlán Chónaidhm Dornálaíochta Domhanda na hAfraice Theas (WBFed) Curadh Domhanda Super Bantamweight Gabisile Tshabalala as a choróin chlúiteach, ach beidh sé mar aidhm aige freisin an tAontas Dornálaíochta Domhanda a dhaingniú (WBU), Cumann Dornálaíochta Idirnáisiúnta na mBan (WIBA) agus an Eagraíocht Dornálaíochta Uilíoch (UBO) Duaiseanna Domhanda.

London based Marston, who was originally due to challenge Unathi Myekeni for the Bantamweight version of the WBFed strap back in December, that was until Myekeni was forced to withdraw following a hand injury, is cleary relishing the belated opportunity, mar a rinne sí soiléir nuair a labhair sí níos luaithe.

“I cannot thank WBFed President Howard Goldberg enough for making this happen, like me he was so dissapointed when Unathi (Myekeni) pulled out injured last year.

In addition to Howard, I would also lke to thank WIBA President Ryan Wissow, WBU President Don Lewis and Sebastien Pitois from the UBO, as they have been so supportive throughout my career, so to also challenge for their Championships really is so special for me.

I’m forty two now, so honestly thought after Unathi pulled out, that’s it for me, Ní bhfaighidh mé an deis troid ar son teideal Domhanda, Ceart go leor níl sé sin fíor, D’fhéadfainn troid ar son teideal folamh, ach domsa níl sé sin maith go leor, Ba mhaith liom dul i ngleic leis an chuid is fearr, Ba mhaith liom an Curadh Domhanda a bhualadh.

Tá físeán de Gabisile feicthe agam, nuair a throid sí an tSionainn (O'Connell) i 2013, ach ba mhaith léi go mór físeán ar bith di a fháil nuair a bhuaigh sí an teideal Domhanda anuraidh. Tá a fhios agam an méid atá athraithe agam, troid ciallmhar, ós rud é 2013 mar sin ba mhaith liom a fheiceáil an bhfuil aon athruithe ar a stíl nó a beartáin.

Ón méid atá feicthe agam, Trodaire classy í, lámha an-sciobtha. Nuair a throid sí an tSionainn, bhí sí go príomha i gcoinne punching, a d’oirfeadh dom, ach ar chúis éigin tá mothú agam go mbeidh cur chuige an-difriúil aici mar Churadh cosanta.

Bíodh bealach, troid iontach a bheidh anseo don lucht leanúna, tá a leithéid de chodarsnacht inár stíleanna agus is é mo thuairim gurb iad na difríochtaí sin i stíl agus cur chuige oirbheartaíochta a fhágfaidh gur troid iontach é seo.

Tá borradh faoi dhornálaíocht na Breataine, tá an oiread sin Seaimpíní Domhanda againn i láthair na huaire, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Kell Brook, Carl Frampton, Lee Selby, Liam Smith, Jamie McDonnell, Lee Haskins, Tony Moran, Craig Docherty, Terry Flanagan, Anthony Crolla, James DeGale agus ar ndóigh mo shean-chara giomnáisiam ag an TKO, Billy Joe Saunders.

Is léir gur fir iad uile, mar sin ba mhaith liom an t-easnamh a cheartú beagán agus a bheith páirteach leo, chomh maith le bheith ar an gcéad dhornálaí Mná Briotanach a corónaíodh mar Chraobh an Domhain ó bhuaigh Jane Couch Jaime Clampitt don teideal IWBF i 2004. "
