United Fight Alliance Returns to Turkey June 17th for World-Class MMA & Kickboxing

ΤΑΜΠΑ, Fla. (Ιούνιος 8, 2021) – United Fight Alliance (UFA) has announced it is heading back to Turkey to carry the June 17ου MMA World Mix Fight world-class event, featuring professional mixed-martial-arts and kickboxing, at Illusion in Antalya, Τουρκία.

UFA CEOJordan “Jay” Adams will be calling all the action from cageside, live on TV 8.5 στην Τουρκία, and taped-live to tentatively air on the UFA network in July across the United States.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Turkey’s MMA World Mix Fight Organization,” Adams said. “They have been waiting a long time to produce this show. Their enthusiasm and anticipation is over the top. I can tell they can’t wait to present their athletes to the rest of the world. We now get to see their skill sets as only the region’s’ best will be on the card. Afghanistan, Μαρόκο, Γεωργία, Iran, Turkmenistan, Angola, Iraq and of course, Τουρκία, are all well represented in the cage on June 17ου in Antalya Turkey. United Fight Alliance will be there to make sure you don’t miss one second of fights!"

Three MMA World Mix Fight title fights are on tap. The main event is a battle between Turkey’sBayram Yalcin (13-2-0) καιHabib Karimo (10-1-0), of Afghanistan, for the MMA World Mix Fight Featherweight Championship.

Turkey’sHamdi “Wolverine” Kuzgun (7-2-0) τετράγωνα μακριά μεElmahdi Zineddine (11-6-0), fighting out of Germany by way of Morocco, in the co-featured event for the vacant MMA World Mix Fight middleweight title.

The third title fight matches undefeated Turk, Koray Cengiz (8-0-0), κατάVaja Matcharashvili (4-4-0), της Γεωργίας, for the vacant MMA World Mix Fight Heavyweight crown.

There are two other scheduled MMA fights on the card: Turkey female strawweightSedef Arsian (0-1-0 vs. IranianFatime Yavari (0-1-0), and Iraq featherweightHamza Nahma (10-3-0) vs. ΡωσικόςAkhmed Erzu Akrieve (7-1-0).

Turkey’s World kickboxing and Muay Thai champion, Mehmet Koktas (10-3-0), throws down with South African middleweightMateus Mengue (9-1-0), while Turkish heavyweightMehmet “Mountain” Ozer (15-5-0) takes on IranianMuhammad Abdollahpor (9-3-0).

Παραλία Deerfield, FL (Δεκέμβριος. 8, 2017) – A 50-year-plus tradition of donating turkeys to needy families around Christmas time will continue this week when legendary Hall of Fame boxing promoter, Don King and his staff, will visit nine cities in seven states in five days as part of his annual Christmas Turkey Giveaway that begins Τετάρτη, Δεκέμβριος. 13.

The architect and impresario behind the fabled Ο Rumble In the Jungle και Thrilla στη Μανίλα and countless other historic classic boxing events, King will dole out the thousands of Butterball turkeys in Cleveland, Νάσβιλ, New Jersey, Λος Άντζελες, New York, Palm Beach, Fla., Παραλία Deerfield, Fla., Miami and Las Vegas.

“We are here to help those in need,” said King. “We have been doing this for more than 50 years and it has always been about the people of this great country. WBC SANCTIONS SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT ELIMINATOR BETWEEN UNDEFEATED DAVID BENAVIDEZ AND ROGELIO MEDINA FOR #2 MANDATORY TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Now that sanction has officially been granted, the next fight for red-hot undefeated super middleweight David “Η Κόκκινη Σημαία” Benavidez will be an eliminator for the #2 mandatory challenger spot in the WBC’s world rankings against highly regarded contender Rogelio “Χοιροειδής” Medina, της Σονόρα, Μεξικό.

WBC #1-rated Callum Smith and WBC #2-rated Anthony Dirrell will fight for the vacant 168 WBC Championship (tentatively scheduled for May), the winner of that fight must then face undefeated WBC #3 αντίπαλος, Avni Yildirim, from Turkey. The champion at the end of those two fights will be mandated to face the winner of the Benavidez vs. Medina eliminator.

For Benavidez (17-0, 16 KOs), who served as chief sparring partner for middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin’s recent preparations to face Danny Jacobs, news of the fight with Medina is a welcome development.

“This is the biggest opportunity of my life and I’m not going to let it go to waste,” είπε ο Benavidez. “I’m going to destroy this guy like I do everybody else. I have never trained this hard for a fight and I feel that, come fight time, I’ll be extremely strong and do it up.”

“We are excited and working really hard,” είπε. “This is the toughest fight of his career, so we’re taking it super serious. This is a big opportunity for us to shine and look good and go to the next level. We were training with Golovkin here in Big Bear (Καλιφόρνια) and we’ve decided to stay here and keep training until the fight.”

“I know he’s a tough fighter and he’s been in a lot of wars, and he has a lot of experience, but I’m very motivated for this fight,” continued David. “We have a month and a half in training with Golovkin in camp already. Camp with him is hard work and training here in Big Bear gets you to the next level. The hard work I’m doing here will definitely get me this win.”

Promoter Lewkowicz says any remaining questions about young Benavidez will be answered in this fight.

“This is the final test for David Benavidez,” είπε Lewkowicz. “If he does to this guy what he did to so man other fighters, it will be time for the world to acknowledge that David is going to be a star in boxing. This test will show everyone that he is truly everything we’ve been saying he is since he was a teenager. I am proud of the hard work he is doing and look forward to this great victory.”

Our mission is to help provide a proper meal to families for Thanksgiving who may be experiencing tough times during the holidays. Each year we put together an initiative to give back to families around Thanksgiving, and this year we decided to put together a “Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway.” The giveaway is designed to bring families together for a morning of joyous giving, and help to alleviate the worry and stress that families may endure, due to little or no resources. This year we will provide 100 turkeys to those in attendance. We encourage as many families to join us and we recommend early arrival, to ensure you receive a turkey. We will be joined by some of the Mayweather Promotions boxing stars who will be in attendance to assist with the turkey giveaway and meet with families.
