Miguel Madueño to Fight in WBA Title Elimination Bout Against Jezzrel Corrales on March 12th

IWOLINTSHI, NJENGE (March 7, 2022) – Thompson Boxing’s unbeaten lightweight contender, Miguel “El Explosivo” Madueño (27-0, 25 Kos), who is known for his explosive power and exciting fights, now has the chance of a lifetime as he faces former world champion Jezzrel Corrales (25-4, 10 Kos), in WBA lightweight title eliminator. The 12-round bout will take place at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City, Panama on March 12, 2022, on a “KO to Drugs” event hosted by the WBA.


The 23-year-old Madueño is looking to change his life forever as a win would put him in line to be a mandatory challenger for the WBA lightweight world champion, which is currently held by George Kambosos Jr. (20-0, 10 Kos), one of the biggest names in the sport.

Ruben Torres Replaces Michael Dutchover Headlining Final 3.2.1. Boxing Event of 2020

“I am happy to get the fight, but it is bittersweet since my teammate Michael Dutchover doesn’t get this opportunity,” said Torres. “I have stayed in the gym with my coach UDanny Zamora and was helping with camp already, so I am ready to step-up and headline the card. I’m looking forward to putting on a great performance against Rodriguez.”

Ruben Villa to take on Emanuel Navarrete for the WBO World Featherweight Title on Friday, October 9

PHILADELPHIA, PA/ / IWOLINTSHI, NJENGE. Navarrete is undefeated in the last eight-years, which spans 27 ukulwa.


The fight will take place at “The Bubble” inside the MGM Grand Conference Center, and will be televised live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.

UMichael Dutchover (12-0, 9 Kos) Stops Ruben Tamayo in the Third Round on Friday Night

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / IWOLINTSHI, Calif. (Nov. 18, 2018) – Junior lightweight UMichael Dutchover (12-0, 9 Kos) closed out Thompson Boxing’s season finale in emphatic fashion by knocking out the well-tested veteran Ruben Tamayo (27-12-4, 18 Kos) in the third round Friday night from the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif.

 

 

 

DutChover, who had turned 21 the day prior, celebrated his birthday weekend with his fifth win of the year and fourth straight knockout victory.

 

 

 

The West Texas-based Dutchover used his patience in the first round to learn the appropriate angles against Tamayo, who had previously been in the ring against first class talent such as Jhonatan Romero, Oscar Valdez, Joseph Diaz and Jesus Cuellar.

 

 

 

In the third, Dutchover unlocked his power with a left hook to the body that stunned and forced Tamayo to take a knee. After Tamayo beat the count, Dutchover attacked and landed a right onto the midsection, which dropped Tamayo once again.

 

 

 

Referee Lou Moret immediately waived off the fight at the 2:15 uphawu.

 

 

 

“I feel like I’m growing into a better fighter with each and every fight,” said Dutchover, who is promoted by industry veterans Banner Promotions futhi Thompson Boxing. “I took my time in the first round, but then my corner advised me to start letting my hands go and I got the knockout win. Michael Dutchover Looks to Close out 2018 With Another Win

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / IWOLINTSHI, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2018) – The fast-rising UMichael Dutchover (11-0, 8 Kos), with four solid wins on the year, aims to close out 2018 with another victory on Friday, Nov. 16, ukusuka Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif.

 

 

 

DutChover, ozohlanganisa 21 the day before the event, will fight veteran and former world title challenger Daulis Prescott (31-9, 24 Kos) in the 8-round main event of Thompson Boxing’s “Locked n’ Loaded” season finale.

 

 

 

DutChover, a junior lightweight fighting out of Midland, Tex., has had a breakout year of sorts with his recent display of power punching. His last three wins have come by way of knockout, including a sensational second round, one-punch destruction of Sergio Martinez in July.

 

 

 

Ngaphambi kwalokho, the West Texas warrior, ngubani eqeqesha in Los Angeles, removed Mike Fowler in three rounds. Two months ago in September, Dutchover stopped Bergman Aguilar in the fifth.

 

 

 

DutChover, Nokho, understands the Colombian-born Prescott poses a far more serious challenge than any other foe he has faced this year, or in his young career.
