Ruben Villa Returns Headlines Thompson Boxing Event on April 15th

Miguel Madueño to Fight in WBA Title Elimination Bout Against Jezzrel Corrales on March 12th

**ARANCIONE, COME (Marzo 7, 2022)** – Thompson Boxing’s unbeaten lightweight contender, **Miguel “El Explosivo” Madueño** (27-0, 25 KO), who is known for his explosive power and exciting fights, now has the chance of a lifetime as he faces former world champion **Jezzrel Corrales** (25-4, 10 KO), in WBA lightweight title eliminator. The 12-round bout will take place at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City, Panama on March 12, 2022, on a “KO to Drugs” event hosted by the WBA.

The 23-year-old Madueño is looking to change his life forever as a win would put him in line to be a mandatory challenger for the WBA lightweight world champion, which is currently held by **George Kambosos Jr.** (20-0, 10 KO), one of the biggest names in the sport.

“I want to thank my promoter Thompson Boxing for guiding my career in such a great way,” said Madueño, who is currently riding a 13-fight knockout streak. “They provided a way to get in me in a position to display my skills to the world. **ARANCIONE, COME (Ottobre 1, 2020)** - **Thompson Boxing Promotions** is pleased to present the newest installment of its successful boxing series **3.2.1 Boxe** featuring three exciting-and-compelling bouts, live on Sunday, November 1st, 2020. Ruben Villa to take on Emanuel Navarrete for the WBO World Featherweight Title on Friday, 9 Ottobre

(Sette. 21, 2020)** – Venerdì notte, 9 Ottobre, undefeated WBO number-two ranked featherweight contender **Villa Ruben** (18-0, 5 KO) gets his much deserved world title shot when he takes on former WBO super bantamweight world champion, and WBO number-one ranked contender, **Emanuel Navarrete** (32-1, 28 KO), in a battle for the WBO World Featherweight title.

Navarrete is undefeated in the last eight-years, which spans 27 combattimenti.

The fight will take place at “The Bubble” inside the MGM Grand Conference Center, and will be televised live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.

Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 KO) Stops Ruben Tamayo in the Third Round on Friday Night

PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ARANCIONE, Calif. (Novembre. 18, 2018) – Junior leggero Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 KO) closed out Thompson Boxing’s season finale in emphatic fashion by knocking out the well-tested veteran Ruben Tamayo (27-12-4, 18 KO) in the third round Friday night from the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif.

Dutchover, who had turned 21 the day prior, celebrated his birthday weekend with his fifth win of the year and fourth straight knockout victory.

The West Texas-based Dutchover used his patience in the first round to learn the appropriate angles against Tamayo, who had previously been in the ring against first class talent such as Jhonatan Romero, Oscar Valdez, Joseph Diaz and Jesus Cuellar.

In the third, Dutchover unlocked his power with a left hook to the body that stunned and forced Tamayo to take a knee. After Tamayo beat the count, Dutchover attacked and landed a right onto the midsection, which dropped Tamayo once again.

Referee Lou Moret immediately waived off the fight at the 2:15 contrassegno.

“I feel like I’m growing into a better fighter with each and every fight,” said Dutchover, who is promoted by industry veterans Promozioni Banner e Thompson Boxing. “I took my time in the first round, but then my corner advised me to start letting my hands go and I got the knockout win. PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ARANCIONE, Calif. (Ottobre. 29, 2018) – The fast-rising Michael Dutchover (11-0, 8 KO), with four solid wins on the year, aims to close out 2018 with another victory on Venerdì, Novembre. 16, dal Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif.

“I’ve been in with some of the top names in the sport and they all teach me something different,” Dutchover said. “Danny Romano, Oscar Valdez and Jessie Magdaleno are a few that come to mind. They are incredible boxers and good people too. I’m fortunate to have met them this early in my career.”
