Davanti a una folla euforica al Tomás Donés Colosseo di Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Mani di pietra Abimael’’ Ortíz (6-0-1, 4 KO) di Cidra, Ha vinto per mezzo di un tratto 5th turno a eliminazione diretta di carattere tecnico sulle ex olimpionico Jantony Ortiz (8-1, 4 KO) di Humacao, in un volo di linea otto turni combattere presso la divisione super-gallo.

 

 

 

Jantony visitato la tela due volte nel quinto round per colpi di corpo.

Santiago, sconfitto nel suo ultimo combattimento ex campione del mondo DeMarcus Corley con decisione unanime. Anche nel suo curriculum ha una vittoria su Antonio ‘El Cacique’ Ortíz, che era imbattuto in sei inizio.

Subriel Matías shines; defeated Mexican Adrián Estrella

Cataño, Puerto Rico – Puerto Rican super prospect Subriel Matias (10-0, 10 KO) from the Maternillo neighborhood of Fajardo, won by technical knockout in the fifth round over Mexican Adrián Estrella (28-2, 24 KO) in combat held at the park Pedro ‘Perucho’ Cepeda in Cataño as part of the event promoted by Fresh Productions Boxing.

 

In the first two rounds, Estrella was able to establish his boxing, but entering the third round, the Puerto Rican began to throw an accurate jab that led him to combine more shots to take the round.

 

The fourth round was a action packed for both fighters. Both were connecting blows with bad intentions, but in the second half of the round, Matías was able to connect accurate shots to the body and face of the Mexican Estrella who was in bad shape once the round was over. Before the match, Matias already had strong victories by way of the knockout over world title challenger Daulis Prescott of Colombia, former Olympian Patrick Lopez, former rising prospect Jeffrey Fontánez of Caguas, Puerto Rico and Brazilian power puncher Joaquim Carneiro.

 

Stella, d'altra parte, has victories over former world champions Celestino Caballero and DeMarcus ‘Chop Chop’ Corley and over world title contenders, Balweg Bangoyan and Dante Jardón.

In the super welterweight, Cuevas Derrieck (17-0-1, 14KO) defeated Mexico’s Jesús Álvarez (15-5, 11 KO) in a seventh-round TKO.

 

In the lightweights, Nestor Bravo (13-0, 9 KO) defeated by technical knockout in the first round Colombian Jean Sotelo (26-16-2, 16 KO) in 8-round bout.

 

At bantanweights, Jonathan ‘Bum Bum’ López (3-0, 3 KO) of Humacao looked impressive when he won by technical knockout in the first round over Frankie Santiago (1-2). Santiago visited the canvas three times.

After an impressive third round win over world title challenger Daulis Prescott, Puerto Rican prospect Subriel Matías (9-0, 9 KO) from the Maternillo neighborhood of Fajardo has a big test in his young career when he faces the Mexican puncher Adrian “Diamante” Stella (28-1, 24 KO) il Sabato, Maggio 19 at the Pedro “Perucho” Cepeda ballpark in Cataño, Puerto Rico.

 

 

 

 

The Matías v. Estrella bout is scheduled for 10 rounds in the junior welterweight division (140 libbre).

With only nine fights in his professional history, Matías has strong victories over the world title challenger Daulis Prescott of Colombia, ex olimpionico venezuelano Patrick López, the rising prospect Fontánez of Puerto Rico, and the strong Brazilian puncher Joaquim Carneiro.

 

 

 

 

Stella, d'altra parte, has victories over former world champions Celestino Caballero, DeMarcus Corley and over world title contenders Balweg Bangoyan and Dante Jardón.

 

 

 

 

In another of the stellar matches of the card, Abimael “Manos de Piedra” Ortiz (5-0-1, 3 KO) di Cidra, will face former London 2012 olympian Jantony Ortiz (8-0, 4 KO) di Humacao, in a duel scheduled for eight rounds at 122 libbre.

 

 

 

 

In his last performance in February, Abimael Ortiz defeated local fan favorite Josean “El Tren” Figueroa (Promozioni Miguel Cotto), who fell by technical knockout in the eighth round.

 

 

 

 

 

On the other side, Jantony Ortiz defeated Dominican Lucián González by unanimous decision in his last fight in March.

Nel main event, Subriel Matías (9-0, 9 KO) defeated by technical knockout at 33 seconds of the third round, Colombian and former world contender, Daulis Prescott (31-7, 23 KO) in a 10-round fight in the 140 libbre. Prescott visited the canvas twice in the second round and once in the third to end the fight.
