LAS VEGAS (Fevral 27, 2020) – Undefeated super lightweightKendo "Tremendo" Castaneda (17-0, 8 Kos) flew into Orlando from his native San Antonio this past Tuesday night on his first visit to Florida.

“It’s pretty cool here,” Castaneda shared his first impressions of Florida. “A guy working for the promoter met us at the airport to film my arrival and interview me, so it’s been a welcoming experience, and people in Florida know I’m in the house. I like it here. It’s nice and in a way, I feel like I’m at home. I’m going to put on a show for fans, I’m going to be like their Disney World. I’m ready for the big ride and to put on a great show for the people.”

Castaneda captured the vacant North American Boxing Association (Da) crown a year ago, taking a 10-round decision from previously undefeatedGilbert Venegas, Jr.(10-0), and followed that with an impressive 10-round unanimous decision over Dominican veteranEudy Berbardo (24-3).

Last October in Reno, Nevada, Castaneda stoppedMartyniouk əyaləti (20-3) in the sixth round, after which he was installed by the World Boxing Organization as its No. 15 rated super lightweight in the world.

WBO No. 8 ranked Alamo, fighting out of Puerto Rico, is coming off the only blemish on either fighter’s pro record, fighting to a draw withAntonio Moran (24-4-1).

Alamo, 24, is the former World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth World and FECARBOX super lightweight champion, who has made three successful NABO title defenses.

MARIO BARRIOS HONORED BY COMMISSIONERS COURT IN SAN ANTONIO HAS BIG PLANS TO BRING WORLD TITLE FIGHT TO HIS HOMETOWN

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Dekabr 17, 2019) – WBA super lightweight champion, Mario “El Azteca” Məhəllə (25-0, 16 Kos), continues to receive accolades from his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Sentyabr 28, 2019, Barrios defeated Batyr Akhmedov, winning the vacant WBA World Title, becoming the first world champion from San Antonio in the last 25 il.

Hazırda, Barrios was honored with a special recognition at the Commissioners Court. Commissioner Justin Rodriguez from Bexar County, Precinct 2, who sponsored the ceremony, was joined by his colleagues on Commissioners Court in San Antonio and presented Barrios with a proclamation.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Commissioners Court here in my hometown of San Antonio,” Said Barrios. “It’s been a nice ride since winning my world title. I’ve been meeting some very influential people, and these are individuals that are making a difference in San Antonio. Today was incredible and I want to thank everyone for all their support.”

Barrios has been active in his community since becoming a world champion. Oktyabr ayında, Barrios joined Shoe Palace and gave way shoes to thirty families at the Boys and Girls Club.

DAVIES ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES JAMES KIRKLAND CO-PROMOTIONAL DEAL WITH WARRIORS BOXING

San Antonio, Texas – Davies Entertainment is proud to announce that knockout artist James Kirkland (34-2, 30 KO) has signed a two year, six fight co-promotional deal with Warriors Boxing (who have worked on previous fight cards with the likes of PBC, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Etc) . After a four year layoff, Kirkland returned to the ring in August of 2019 and has won his first two fights convincingly by way of knockout.


Kirkland has been one of boxing’s most explosive fighters with his sights set on lining up a huge fight with major contenders in 2020 and gradually working his way back into world title contention. This deal will provide the vicious southpaw the opportunity of achieving that and more.


“My only goal has been to get back on top and with this kind of team surrounding me I feel like it’s only a matter of time before it happens,” said Kirkland.


Kirkland will be in attendance at tonight’s Terrence Crawford fight in New York.

MATAMOROS, MEKSİKA (May 30, 2019) – Prince Ranch Boxing’s 18-year-old featherweight sensation, Ricky Medina (3-0 2Kos) San Antonio, Texas, will return to the ring this Friday for his fourth professional bout at The Casa Ahida Cafeteria Gourmet in Heroica Matamoros, Meksika.


For Medina, who is promoted by TMB & PRB Əyləncə, this will be his first time fighting outside of his home state of Texas, let alone the United States.

“I am very excited to fight for the first time in Mexico. Mexico has a lot of great world champions over the years including Julio Cesar Chavez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Marco Antonio Barrera,Erik Morales and many more that I looked up to. Medina, who faced an undefeated fighter in his last bout is looking to challenge himself in the professional game of boxing, early and often.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Dekabr 1, 2018) – Last night at the Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, TX, TMB & PRB Əyləncə və Roy Jones Jr. boks Promotions, presented, “Whose ‘0’ Will Go 2”, hara Kendo Castaneda (15-0, 7 Kos) captured the NABA super lightweight title with a unanimous decision victory Gilbert Venegas Jr. (10-1, 6 Kos), handing him his first loss as a professional.
In the early rounds, both fighters were having their moments, landing hard shots, but as the fight progressed, Castaneda started to get in a grove by going to the body. Venegas held his own but couldn’t get his punches off like he wanted too, and Castaneda started to take over the fight. In the later rounds, Castaneda was landing three punch combinations, while boxing from a distance, finishing the fight strong. At the end of the ten-round fight, Kendo was up big on the judge’s cards. Scorecards read 98-92, 99-91,100-90, all in favor of Castaneda.
6-Round Co-Main Event for Vacant ABF Middleweight Title
Local hero, Luey Villareal (4-0-1, 1 KO) captured the ABF middleweight title with a stunning TKO against Michael Klekotta (2-4, 1 KO). Villareal broke down Klekotta for the first three rounds before stopping him with a barrage of punches in the fourth round. The time was at the 1:20 işarə.

18-year old sensation, Ricky Medina (2-0, 2 Kos), scored a second-round KO over Jorge De Leon (0-5). Medina landed a powerful uppercut in the middle of round two, sending De Leon to the canvas. He then followed with a devastating right hook to the temple, knocking out De Leon at the 2:58 işarə.

RICHARD “EL CASTIGO” MEDINA READY TO SHINE IN 2ND PRO FIGHT

“It’s great that I’m able to fight professionally while I’m still in high school, because I have a lot of friends that come to see me fight.” Medina continued. “I’m hoping to have a bunch of teachers attend as well. I’m starting to build up a nice fan base. I’m hoping it grows with each fight.”

Daniel “Beast” Baiz Returns This Saturday in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Oktyabr 25, 2018) – Prince Ranch boksçu Daniel “Beast” Baiz (12-1, 5 Kos), will return to action this Saturday, Oktyabr 27, 2018 at the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas. Baiz will face Leonardo Esquivel Carrizal (5-4-1, 2 Kos) in a 4-round bout and vowed to fight at welterweight by the start of 2019. This fight will be at a catch weight of 150 lbs.

 

 

 

“I know what I have to do to become one of the best fighters in the world and part of that is making the right choices to fight at the right weight,” said Baiz. “I know that fighting at welterweight will give me the best possible chance to win a world title. I’m looking forward to fighting in front of my hometown fans once again this Saturday.”
