Inn ve Philadelphii, King’s Promotions presents a great night of championship boxing that will headlined by 10-round UBF Lightweight championship bout between Frankie De Alba (15-1-2, 5 KO) a Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 KO).
In one of the 8-round co-features, Steve Upsher Chambers (24-4-1, 6 KO) returns to the city where he cut his teeth as a professional to take on Alejandro Rodriguez (24-16-1, 14 KO) v Jr. Welterweight bout.
Chambers, who came originally to Philadelphia with former Heavyweight title challenger, “Fast” Eddie Chambers, bojoval 23 times and the famed Blue Horizon in Philadelphia and will be making his first start in the City of Brotherly Love in almost 6 léta.

After coming up short in last year’s Boxcino finals and suffering the only loss of his career, the Los Angeles-native dropped down one weight class and fought his way back to the 10-round championship fight.

Several big name fighters were in attendance, but the one who appealed most to the hundreds of thousands of fans who flocked Sin City for the fight was “Sibiřský Rocky” Ruslan Provodnikov.
Provodnikov posed for hundreds of pictures and signed countless autographs. He also participated in “Radio Row” where he talked on a plethora radio stations from around the country.
Provodnikov was also spotted and recognized by “A-List” celebrities who actually asked to take their pictures with the Jr. Welterweight star at the HBO/Showtime pre-fight,red carpet party.

Two-time world champion Steve “USS” Cunningham signs with Al Haymon

Philadelphie (Duben 21, 2015)–Former two-time world cruiserweight champion and current Heavyweight contender, Steve “USS” Cunningham has signed with adviser Al Haymon.
Cunningham of Philadelphia is excited about the prospects for his future.
“I’m looking forward to working with Al, he’s a genius at what he does. I’ve been watching him for several years and seeing all that he accomplishes for his fighters but have always been on the outside looking in due to contractual obligations. It finally lined up to where we can work together and it’s going to great. I believe my best fights have yet to be seen,”Said Cunningham
Cunningham has a record of 28-7 s 13 průchodky. He won the IBF Cruiserweight championship when he traveled to Poland and defeated Krzysztof Wlodarczyk on May 26, 2007. He defended the title by stopping Marco Huck via 12th round stoppage in Bielfield, Germany on December 29, 2007. Cunningham became a two-time champion on June 5, 2010 when he stopped Troy Ross in five rounds.
Cunningham is coming off a controversial split decision defeat to Vyacheslav Glazkov on Březen 14 v Montrealu.
Steve and his wife/manager Livvy will be honored tento pátek night at the 90th annual BWAA Awards dinner as they will receive the Bill Crawford Courage Award for their perseverance while their 9-year old daughter Kennedy went through a life saving heart transplant last December.
The awards dinner will take place at Capitale in New York City.

“I outboxed the guy,” Said Thompson. I focused on what I needed to focus on and that was using my jab. I also focused on not to exchange and bang with him and I did a pretty good job of that.”
“As well as I fought, I do not think that was even my best win.”
Now he looks towards Adams. Adams of Los Angeles has experience in the Boxcino finals as his only loss was to Willie Monroe Jr. in last year’s Middleweight finals.
“I am happy to be in the finals. This is an opportunity that will be the uprising of my career,” continued Thompson.
“Brandon is a brawler. He will have a few weeks to come up with a strategy to beat me.”
Said Thompson’s promoter, Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions, “I believe we are longer, been in tougher and the better boxer. Brandon is a good fighter but I think he is too green. I know he had a brief amateur career and he could be too green for John.”

Prize Promotions Tabs Russell Peltz and Brittany “Bam” Rogers for Matchmaking Duties

Danbury, CT (Duben 16, 2015)- At the beginning of April, newly licensed Connecticut boxing promoter A.J. Galante introduced his company, Prize Promotions. Galante spoke of his goal of bringing “Old School” boxing to Connecticut.

To prove he is serious about his vision, Galante has turned his matchmaking over to Hall of Fame Philadelphia promoter, Russell Peltz along with one of the sports youngest and most promising promoters and matchmakers, Brittany “BAM”

Rogers.

“Russell is the definition of Old School matchmaking, he’s one of the last out there, so it was a no brainer for me to reach out to him, and I am honored that he is willing to work with me.” Galante uvedeno, “His resume speaks for itself, I am extremely confident that working together, we will put on spectacular shows” Galante was also extremely excited to work with Brittany “BAM” Rogers, who works in conjunction with Russell Peltz,

“I’m often referred to as one of the youngest boxing people on the business side of things, but BAM is actually younger than me, and has been in the sport longer than me. I have a lot of respect for her and have been learning a lot through working with her.”

Ultimately Galante said what cemented his choice on his matchmakers, was a trip to Philladelphia in October, to attend a show promoted by both Peltz and Rogers, “When you think Philly boxing, you think gritty and exciting, and you can’t think Philadelphia boxing without Russell Peltz and Brittany Rogers, and I am looking forward to bringing those types of shows and that environment here to Connecticut.” It won’t be long for Galante to fulfill his promise, as his first show Danbury Fight Night, se bude konat dne30.května v Danbury Arena, in his hometown of Danbury, CT.

Philadelphie (Březen 31, 2015)–To je méně než dva týdny od semifinále Boxcino 2015 v těžké váze a jr. Middleweight turnaje, které se bude konat v pátek v noci, 10.dubna a bude se konat v Sands Casino Resort v Betlémě, PA.

 

Přehlídka bude vysílán živě na ESPN v pátek večer boje s Boxcino semifinále boje začínající na 9 PM ET.

V těžké váze divize, Andrey Fedosov (26-3, 21 KO) bude mít na Lenroy Thomas (19-3, 8 KO). Fedosov is coming off a first round pounding of Nate Heaven while Thomas won a 7-round drawbreaker over former U.S. Olympian Jason Estrada.

 

Ve druhém semifinále, Razvan Cojanu (13-1, 7 KO) bude mít na Donovan Dennis (11-1, 9 KO).

 

Cojanu odchází 7-kulatý drawbreaker vítězství nad Ed fontána, zatímco Dennis zastavil Steve Vukosa ve 4-kolech.

 

V JR. middleweight divize, Stanyslav Skorokhod (9-0, 7 KO) bitvy John Thompson (15-1, 5 KO).

Steve “USS” Cunningham přizvukuje na kontroverzní rozhodnutí Glazkov boji

Philadelphie (Březen 17, 2015)–V následku svého IBF eliminace záchvat této minulosti Sobota v Bell Centre v Montrealu, Bývalý dvojnásobný mistr světa a současný Cruiserweight heavyweight uchazečem Steve “USS” Cunningham wants to state his case to what the boxing world saw, a že je špatný člověk ruku zvedl.
