A death of someone close to a fighter can also have a huge effect on the outcome of a fight. Consider one of the greatest upsets of all time: James “Buster” Douglas beating “Iron” Mike Tyson. Buster’s mother tragically died just 23 days before the fight. Douglas promised her before she died that he would beat Tyson. Former UFC Fighter and Coach UJames Krause literally made a living betting on UFC fights with insider information.
