Philadelphia, PA (Kọkànlá Oṣù 29, 2017) – They fought as amateurs, and are both considered among the best super middleweights in the city.
Yi Friday night, Brandon Robinson and Christopher Brooker meet as professionals in what could shape up to be an explosive co-feature bout of a 12 fight card at the

2300 Gbagede ni Philadelphia.
The eight-round bout is for the UBF All-Americas title.
The loaded show is promoted my King’s Promotions.
The main event will pit Tyrone Brunson (25-6-2, 23 KOs) lodi si Manny Woods (16-6-1, 6 KOs) ti Saint Petersburg, Florida in a junior middleweight bout scheduled for ten rounds.
“Ikẹkọ ti wa nla. This has been the best camp that I have had since turning professional hands down,” said Robinson.
Although this could be a breakthrough fight for 29 year-old Robinson, He has been looking at Brooker no different than any previous foe.
I look at every fight as a big fight. I see each fight as if I am fighting Canelo or Golovkin, so I get my self in the best shape I can be.
Being that they are in the same city, there is the aforementioned history between the two fighters.
We fought as amateurs, and I won that fight. Since the, we have sparred a couple times, and that has given me a great scouting report on him, and let’s just say I feel very comfortable going into this fight.
Fighting against another Philly fighter is nothing new for Robinson as he already has a victory over Lamont McLaughlin.
I have been through this, and these kind of fights bring out the best of me, and with a winon Friday, this will open up many doors for me that I never expected to be opened. I am looking for a complete performance, The fans will see power in both hands, craftiness, ring generalship and a huge heart. I just want to thank King’s Promotions, and I am looking to take home the UBF All-Americas Super Middleweight title.
For the 26 year-old Brooker, he has been here before but he wants to get back in the win column after losing to undefeated Light Heavyweight Ahmed Elbiali in a fight that he took on short notice on July 18.
I got right back in the gym after that fight. I been working for 12 weeks. I have a new personal trainer Jermaine Clark and my new trainer Octavio Pineda,” said Brooker.
Brooker does not believe that the amateur loss to Robinson means anything going into Friday night.
Yea, it does not mean anything. It was my 3rd amateur fight. The sparring sessions were good. I treated them like I wanted to get some revenge for losing to him, and I am very confident after those sessions. This fight for me is about getting this belt . People will see me outwork him and outclass him.
Brooker has made his name throughout the boxing circles with his willing to fight and defeat anybody at anytime. That is evidenced by his wins over Leo Hall, John Magda, Antowyan Aikens and Gabriel Pham. Brooker also stepped up to face Elbiali, Ronald Gavril and Ronald Ellis, and he became a favorite on national television because of his tough as nails style.
Robinson is just another guy in front of me. I been in and defeated much more experienced fighters then him. He has not have anything that I have not seen in the ring. I am not looking past him, I am looking through him. I was beating Gavril before the fight was unjustly stopped. He went on to barely lose in a bid for a world title and now he is getting a rematch with him, so that just shows what level I am on. I want that rematch or (WBC Champion) David Benevidez.
I appreciate King’s Boxing and I am honored to fight for another belt. I appreciate Brandon for signing the contract. Friday night is a big fight for me, my family and all of my supporters.

Cherry of Wauchula, Florida has had a smooth camp while training in the Sunshine State and is ready for the 46th start of his professional start.
“Ohun gbogbo ti wa ni o dara, and we will be prepared for everything on Kẹrin 4th,” said the 34-year-old Cherry.
“Lori Kẹrin 4th, whatever Douglas brings, we will be prepared for. This is not the first time, that I’ve been in this position. He is the guy who has to prove he can perform. I have been there before, so the pressure is on him.
Cherry has been a top contender at both the 130 ati 135 iwon divisions, and he even challenged for a world title at 140 poun. He believes there are many reasons that he has remained a viable contender who has only lost once in the last nine years and 13 njà.
I am motivated and I believe in myself,” wi Cherry. “Those are the reasons that I am still here at the top of the 130 ati 135 divisions. My family gives me drive every day. Kẹrin 4th will be another great fight. This is my job and I have to go out and do it well.
Cherry believes a win should gain him another crack at a world title.
A win definitely puts me ahead. It will open doors for better fights and better paydays. A title shot is what I want. But also a bigger money fight that will take care of my family.
Douglas has been training at home in Delaware, has been working hard for this fight, which could be a breakthrough fight on the heels of his narrow defeat to former world champion Javier Fortuna last November.
“Ohun gbogbo ti jẹ nla. This has been a long camp. I have been getting great work,” so wipe awọn 26- year-old Douglas.
I am the better fighter. I have known about him for a long time. I watched him a lot when he fought on Friday Night njà.”
That fight with Fortuna was a major step up, and Douglas had a lot of positive moments, as he dropped the former champion in the 1st round, only to lose by three points on two cards and one point on a third card.
The Fortuna fight let me know and let the people know that Omar Douglas is a world class fighter. Even in a loss, people did not expect me to do well. I thought that I showed a lot that night and I will carry that confidence into this fight on Kẹrin 4th.”
Douglas believes that a win over Cherry is his path to a world title.
I think that it is time. I just happen to be crossing paths with Cherry. This fight makes sense for me. I will let people know that I am player at 130 poun, and a win will earn me a title shot. I have shown that I will fight anyone. Look at the records of my previous opponents. Fortuna was 30-1 and one fight removed from being a world champion. Alexei Collado was 19-1; Frank De Alba was 17-1. So wins over those guys plus Cherry should have me right there, but I am focusing on Edner Cherry. He is a great veteran, ṣugbọn lojo tuside night I will be victorious.

READING, PA (March 18, 2017) – In a 12-round heavyweight war that lived up to the hype, Amir Mansour (23-2-1, 16 KOs) was able to take a majority decision (114-114, 117-111, 115-113) over Travis Kauffman (31-2, 23 KOs) in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions: The Next Round on Bounce from Santander Arena in Reading, PA.

Ni yika meji, Kauffman buckled Mansour with a hard right on the inside. The two fighters started round four with bad intentions as they each landed hard shots on the inside. Kauffman switched back and forth between orthodox and southpaw stances in an attempt to befuddle the southpaw Mansour.

By the closing rounds, both fighters began to grind out a hard-fought battle on the inside. In rounds nine and 10, it was Mansour who had more pep in his step, landing several hard blows to close out round 10.

Yika 12 was a classic heavyweight slugfest, as Kauffman and Mansour stood toe-to-toe landing leather on each other for the whole three-minute period, with Mansour doing just enough to get the win.

Televised coverage opened with Chordale Booker (6-0, 3 KOs) ti Brooklyn, New York getting a unanimous decision (59-55, 59-55, 58-56) over Moshea Aleem (4-1-1, 2 KOs) ti Richmond, Virginia in a super welterweight bout.

The co-main event featured two-time welterweight world champion Kermit Cintron (39-5-3, 30 KOs) and David Grayton (15-1-1, 11 KOs) fighting to a technical majority draw after Cintron was deemed unable to continue due to a cut over his right eye.

Ni yika marun, Grayton floored Cintron with an overhand left. Later in the round, Grayton nailed Cintron with an unintentional headbutt to the right eye, which opened up the cut that led to the end of the bout. Action was stopped at 2:53 ti yika marun.

Here is what the fighters had to say following their bouts:

Travis Kauffman

I got robbed. It’s plain and simple. O je kan ti o dara ija, but I thought I won by three rounds.

He landed a couple of shots, but I clearly outworked him. I thought I landed more and did enough to get the win.

AMIR MANSOUR

They thought I was old and would tire down the stretch, but I am mentally strong.

I give Travis (Kauffman) credit. He stood in there with me tonight. But as I waited for the scores, I knew I won the fight. These were honorable judges.

“Mo fe iwe itumo kekere (Deontay) Wilder next. I am 44-years-old. I want my shot. They should give me my shot and try to get me out of the way.

KERMIT CINTRON

“Mo ti a ti gba ija. Then he started to apply pressure and he caught me when I was off balance.

He kept coming in with his head, and he finally caught me good with it. I was fine and wanted to continue, but the doctor decided to stop the fight.

DAVID GRAYTON

I won that fight. I think he could have continued.

I was in control of the fight, but I was in his hometown, and you know how that goes.

CHORDALE BOOKER

“O je kan ti o dara ija. I needed this fight to see where I am. And I wanted to fight another undefeated fighter. It was a step up on national television.

I give myself a B- for my performance tonight. My movement was good, but I did not sit down on my power enough. It was a good learning experience though. I could not ask for a better platform to perform on.

MOSHEA ALEEM

I did not do enough. I waited too long to throw my punches and he outworked me.
