Amosov, where he will take on No. 3 RangitaJason Jackson(14-4) in an explosive 175-pound contract weight co-main event at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. SurVendredo, June 11.The event will be televised live on SHOWTIME at9 P.M. ET/6 p.M. PT.

BELLATOR 260 will be headlined by Welterweight World ChampionDouglas lima (32-8), who will defend his 170-pound title against the undefeated and top-rankedJaroslav Amosov (25-0).

Elsewhere on the card, Ne. 9 Rangita Tywan Claxton (6-2) faces the undefeated and newly signed Justin Gonzales (11-0) En featherweight ago, while Connecticut’s Nick Newell (16-3) takes center stage against promotional debutant Bobby King (9-3) in a 155-pound clash and Demarques Jackson (11-5) Renkontas Mark Lemminger (11-3) ĉe veltero. Daley put on a dominant performance that night, reminding fans of his explosive power and ability to stop his opponent in the second round. Another win for the 38-year-old in his next fight against Jackson will see him rise up the welterweight rankings and could propel him into contention for a run at the title.

Standing in his way will be 30-year-old Jason Jackson, the electric welterweight who trains out of Sanford MMA in South Florida. Currently riding a four-fight win streak inside the BELLATOR MMA cage, Jackson put on a dominant display in his last performance againstNeiman Gracie at BELLATOR 255. The win over Gracie is the latest in an impressive run with the promotion, which also includes victories over notable names includingKiichi Kunimoto, Jordan Mein KajBenson Henderson. Currently ranked No. 3 in the promotion’s welterweight rankings, Jackson will hope to make it five wins in a row and add another victory to his name when he meets Daley on June 11.

HOUSTON, Teksaso – Heredaĵo Batalado Alianco (LFA) officials announced today that Nick Newell (13-1) has signed a multi-fight deal with LFA.
Nick Newell was born with congenital amputation of his left arm. Rezulte, his left arm ends just below his elbow. Newell did not let this deter him, as he went on to have a successful collegiate wrestling career, earning over 300 victories throughout high school and college.
After going 5-1 in his amateur MMA career, Newell turned pro and took the MMA world by storm with his inspiring story. Newell would go on to amass an undefeated streak of 11-0, finishing all but one of his opponents in that time. His lone professional defeat was against former World Series of Fighting Lightweight Champion and currently ranked #5 UFC Lightweight, Justin Gaethje (18-0). Newell won two more bouts after his loss to Gaethje and subsequently retired from MMA in 2015 after suffering numerous injuries.
A date and opponent for Newell’s LFA debut are still undetermined at this time.

The partnership will commence on Saturday, Jan. 23 when over two dozen figures from the World Series of Fighting universe will be available for video chat sessions with fans during the WSOF27: Firmino vs. Fodor event that will air live on NBCSN at 10 P.M. ET/7 P.M. PT from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn.

Available for download in the App Store, the Talk2Legends app also allows fans to share completed chat sessions with friends on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

“The partnership between World Series of Fighting and Talk2Legends will enable a fan experience that is unmatched in sports, for a reasonable cost,” said Talk2Legends CEO Ryan Hermansky.

LASa VEGAS (Julio 30, 2015) -World Serio de Batalado (WSOF.com) will return to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. for the second time this year with another star-studded, world-class Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) mega-event, headlined by a welterweight (170 Funtoj) showdown between rival superstars Jon Fitch Kaj Yushin “Thunder” Okami, Sur Sabato, Oct. 17, vivi sur NBCSN.

In other action on the live NBCSN telecast, supersteluloj Vinny Magalhaes Kaj Matt “The Hammer” Hamill will make their respective WSOF debuts against each other in a light heavyweight (205 Funtoj) konkurso.

Also returning to the cage will be local favorite “Notorious” Nick Newell, who will take on an opponent to be named soon.

Jon Fitch vs. Yushin Okami

Both Fitch (26-7-1, 1 NC) De Las Vegas, Nev. and Okami (30-9) of Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan will look to return to the win column after their suffering defeats in their respective last starts, which were both world championship title bouts.

During his 12-year professional career, the 6-foot, 37-year-old Fitch, a former captain of world renowned fight team AKA and NCAA Division I wrestler for Purdue University, has submitted or scored TKO’s on a long list of rival superstars, including Roan Carneiro, Josh Burkman and Thiago Alves, and has earned decision wins over Diego Sanchez, Erick Silva and Ben Saunders.

Also a 12-year veteran of the sport, la 6-piedo-2, 34- year-old Okami has earned 50 percent of his wins by way of (T)KO aŭ submetado, and boasts victories over a host of fellow marquee competitors, Inkluzivanta Hector Lombard, Nate Marquardt, Mark Munoz Kaj Alan Belcher. In his WSOF debut on Marto 29, Okami notched a spectacular, Dua rondo (4:46) submetiĝo (arm-triangle choke) De Svetlozar Savov.

Blagoy Ivanov vs. Derek Mehmen

Ivanov (12-1) of Sofia, Bulgaria made history on June 5, 2015 when the 5-foot-11, 28-year-old pulled off a stunning, third round (1:17) submetiĝo (guillotine choke) of Smealinho Rama to become the second WSOF world heavyweight champion ever.

A judo black belt and 2008 Combat Sambo world champion, Ivanov defeated all-time great Fedor Emelianenko in the semi-final stage of the championship tournament.

Mehmen (19-6) de Coconut Creek, Fla. via Cedar Rapids, Iovao, is a 6-foot-4, 30-year-old member of American Top Team. The heavy-handed, 9-year veteran of the sport has earned 11 De lia 19 professional career wins by way of (T)KO.

Mehmen earned the 2013 “KO Punch of the Year,” awarded by AXS TV’s En MMAprogramo, for his devastating, Dua rondo (2:40) finish of Rolles Gracie, Jr. ĉe WSOF 5 Sur Sept. 14, 2013.

Vinny Magalhaes vs. Matt Hamill

A former world MMA champion and multiple-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion, Magalhaes (12-7, 1 NC) De Las Vegas, Nev. will look to notch his third consecutive victory during his first start in the WSOF decagon cage and first appearance of 2015.

In his last effort, the 6-foot-3, 31-year-old native of Brazil submitted (guillotine choke)Jason Brilz en la kvara raŭndo (:36) of their matchup on Sept. 26, 2014.

A decade long veteran of MMA, Hamill of Loveland, Ohio remains one of the most inspirational athletes in all of MMA. Deaf since birth, Hamill has persevered time and time again, earning his way to three NCAA Division III wrestling national titles before dedicating himself to MMA.

The subject of a 2010 biographical film entitled “La Martelo,” la 6-piedo-2, 38-year-old owns notable wins over Tito Ortiz, Tim Boetsch, Keith Jardine Kaj Mark Munoz, Inter aliaj, and also boasts past clashes with Michael Bisping, Riĉaj Franklin,Alexander Gustafsson, Quinton “Furiozado” Jackson Kaj Jon Jones.

The live NBCSN telecast of “WSOF 24: Fitch vs. Okami” will begin at 8:30 P.M. ET/5:30 P.M. PT.

Doors at the Grand Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino will open at 4:30 P.M. ET, and the first preliminary card bout will begin at 5:30 P.M.
