Granite Chin Promotions returns to Massachusetts Nelson Perez vs. Tyrone Luckey to headline “Showcase” Feb. 26th at Sheraton Hotel in Framingham, MA

Quincy, Massa. (Bulan Januari 3, 2022) – Granite Chin Promotions has announced its first event of 2022, “Showcase,” scheduled on Saturday night, Februari 26th, at Sheraton Hotel in Framingham, Massachusetts.

“Showcase” will mark Granite Chin’s first event in Massachusetts in more than 2 tahun, as well as being only the second professional boxing show ever in Framingham, which is located 23 miles west of Boston.

“I am excited to be coming back to Massachusetts,” Granite Chin president Chris Traietti said. “Between changes occurring with the commission, then COVID, I just felt like it was a good time to step away for a bit, head up to New Hampshire and let things sort of settle in Massachusetts. Now that things are sort of back to normal, I feel like the time is right to bring our great club-show boxing back to Massachusetts. This card is going to be highly competitive from top to bottom. I have the roster now where I can both develop fighters and put on high quality local shows. 2020 was about making good relationships with other promoters and matchmakers; 2021 about developing a quality roster and keeping guys busy during a pandemic. 2022 is going to be geared towards becoming the face of quality local boxing shows and getting Granite Chin fighters on high-level, world-class cards all across the country.”

The 8-round main event will pit local favorite Nelson “Chino” Perez (5-0, 2 Biaya) against New Jersey veteran super lightweight Tyrone “Hands of Stone” Luckey (15-16-4, 11 Biaya).

Perez is a native of Puerto Rico who lives in Marlboro (MA), which borders Framingham. A past New England Golden Gloves champion as an amateur, Perez is coming off a dominating 4-round unanimous decision victory (40-34 X 3) Bulan Desember 4th against Raymundo Rios Cardies on a DAZN card in Manchester, New Hampshire. Perez will be fighting in his first scheduled 8-round bout.

Luckey, fighting out of Manahawkin, NJ, is the reigning ABF USA Mid-American Super Lightweight Champion. The dangerous Luckey has been a gatekeeper of lightweight up to welterweight divisions having fought top prospects such as Mike Ohan, Jr. Jamaine Ortiz, Tyler Tomlin, and Frank Martin. Luckey has recent back-to-back victories against previously unbeaten Eduardo Aquilar.

Hot welterweight prospect Denzel “Double Impact” Whitley (7-0, 5 Biaya), of Holyoke (MA), faces Alfred “Keenan” Raymond (1-0) in the 6-round co-featured event.

Denzel, the latest member of the “Fightin’ Whitley family,” is trained by his father and uncle, masing-masing, Derrick and Darrin, who were respected pro fighters in New England.

Fighting out of Warwick, Pulau Rhode, the 31-year-old Raymond made his pro debut this past November 13th, upsetting previously undefeated Julien Baptiste (3-0) by way of a 4-round split decision.

Gonzalez hasn’t fought in three years, since he moved from his native Hartford, CT to Florida. “It took me a while to settle in after I moved to Florida,” Gonzalez explained. “I’ve been going to a gym and now I’m on track and coming back to turn pro. I have the talent for bigger and better things.”

The 26-year-olldf super flyweight had a 45-6 catatan amatir, highlighted by three New England Golden Gloves, two Ringside National and 2014 National PAL championships.

The problem for Gonzalez, meskipun, is finding appropriate opponents, especially where he was a standout amateur. Right now, he’s still without a signed opponent, largely because there are so few 115-pound boxers in America outside of California and the Southwest. “Most super flyweights are from Mexico, Jepang, or other foreign countries,” Gonzalez said. “It doesn’t matter to me who I fight. I can slug or box, depending on my opponent. If he’s taller, I’ll fight on the inside; if shorter, I’ll box from the outside. I’ll adjust to my opponent. My best punch is my right. It’s solid and deadly.”

These lower weight classes can be hard enough to match, never mind against Angel. “Fight Night Di Framingham”, pertama pro acara tinju pernah di Framingham, ditahan untuk kepentinganberjuang hidup, sebuah tinju remaja setelah-sekolah dan program pemberdayaan akademik, tersedia 100 persen gratis, kepada siswa mulai SD melalui pendidikan SMA.

28 tahun super menengah Pemberton (3-0, 1 KO), berjuang keluar dari Revere, MA, adalah putra dari salah satu dari New England yang sepanjang masa petinju favorit, Scott Pemberton (29-5-1, 24 Biaya), mantan juara super menengah NABF dan IBU Dunia. Pemberton adalah darah-dan-nyali, sangat menghibur jenis pesawat tempur terbaik diingat untuk sepasang Fight of the Year calon vsOmar Sheika.

“Fight Night In Framingham,” will be held Friday night, Bulan Maret 20, at Sheraton Framingham Hotel for the benefit ofberjuang hidup, sebuah tinju remaja setelah-sekolah dan program pemberdayaan akademik, tersedia 100 persen gratis, kepada siswa mulai SD melalui pendidikan SMA.

Boxing is growing here in Framingham and we believe that there will be more boxing in our city. I even check on them in school and if they need help, they’ll have a big brother right next to them. Charity event for Fighting Life March 20th di Sheraton Hotel

FRAMINGHAM, Massa. (Februari 3, 2020) – Shearns Boxing Promosi (SBP) has announced it will bring professional boxing for the first time ever to Framingham, Massachusetts with “Fight Night In Framingham,” Jumat malam, Bulan Maret 20, at Sheraton Framingham Hotel.

Proceeds will benefit berjuang hidup, sebuah tinju remaja setelah-sekolah dan program pemberdayaan akademik, tersedia 100 persen gratis, to students beginning in elementary school through high school education. With the continuous growth in technology and available access to various social media platforms today, anak anak (especially those ages 11 untuk 18 tahun) are easily exposed to and influenced by various social pressures, such as but not limited to, hatred, drug availability, and everyday violence. “On a personal note, SBP and Framingham have a very important history together. It is where I first met my wife, Karen, and lived when starting our family. I also boxed in Framingham when I was younger.”

The City of Framingham, located 20 miles southwest of Boston, dates back to the American Revolution and, jangan jangan, may be better known as being part of the famed Boston Marathon course. Framingham may never have had a pro boxing show held there, but it doesn’t necessarily mean boxing isn’t popular in the city of nearly 69,000 residents.

“We’ve had amateur boxing shows in Framingham, but this will be the first professional event,” Thomas explained. “Kids here are into boxing even though they may not be as knowledgeable about boxing as elsewhere. If more kids understand what boxing can do to better their lives, boxing would have and will get bigger with more exposure to the sport, and that’s why it’s so important to support this show.”

Framingham’s most notable boxer is 2008 USA Olympic Team alternate, Danny O'Connor, who has 30-3 (11 Biaya) sebagai pro.
