BILOXI, MS. (Maio 25, 2019) – Former super welterweight champion Austin “Sen dúbida” Troita (31-5-1, 17 Kos) battled former title challenger Terrell Gausha (21-1-1, 10 Kos) to a split draw (96-94 for Trout, 99-91 for Gausha, 95-95) in a 10-round super welterweight bout that headlined Premier Boxing Champions on FS1 and FOX Deportes on Saturday night from Beau Rivage Resort Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

We need to do that again. That wasn’t right,” said Trout of Las Cruces, N.m. “Imos facelo de novo. That was after a year layoff. Timing is going to be off. Now that I am a little more active. I need an immediate rematch. Immediate.

You never know how the judges are seeing it, but I know 99-91 para (Gausha) wasn’t right. I was definitely in there more than one round,” continued Trout. “But I didn’t feel good in there tonight. I had to force a lot of things, and I had to close the gap in the later rounds.

I felt like I won the fight,” said Cleveland native Gausha. “That’s boxing sometimes. You don’t get the decision.

I have been through a lot this camp. Isto é o que é,” continued Gausha. “I caught a bad cold the last week of training camp. My father passed away during this training camp.

I don’t really care about a rematch with Trout,” concluded Gausha. “I just want bigger fights. I’d like to do something different. But if we have to go through (Troita) again we’ll do it and just make it more convincing next time.

In the FS1 co-feature, unbeaten contender Chordale Booker (15-0, 7 Kos) defeated rugged veteran Wale Omotoso (27-4, 21 Kos) por decisión unánime (100-90 X 3) nun 10 redonda concurso welterweight super. Booker, a southpaw from Stamford, Conner., dominated the action against the Nigerian Omotoso.

I’m always emotional when I fight,” said Booker. “Hoxe, I just let it all out. I feel like this was my time to shine after finally making it to this level. This was definitely a step-up fight for me, facing a guy that they told me nobody else wanted to fight.

I feel like I’ve got nothing to lose,” continued Booker. “I just feel like I’m supposed to be here. I’ve put in a lot of work to get where I’m at, but I could have gone down a very different path. I got a second chance at life and now look where I’m at. I’d love to fight Trout or Gausha next, or any other title challenger that wants to fight, Estou preparado. I pitched a shutout tonight and I’m prepared to be tested and prove I’m the best.

The opening bout on FS1 featured Ahmed Elbiali (19-1, 16 Kos), an Egyptian-American who lives in Miami, Florida, scoring a technical knockout victory over Marlos Simões (13-2-2, 5 Kos) of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil who was unable to continue due to an injured jaw. Elbiali knocked Simões to the canvas and referee Keith Hughes stopped the contest 2:12 into the second frame.

When he went down, I clipped him with a left hook,” Dixo Elbiali. “I knew right away that I could hurt him, and that hook felt like it landed well. He was a tricky and really awkward opponent, but I just went for it and got the job done.

I don’t really like calling out individual fighters, but I feel like I’m ready for a world title shot,” continued Elbiali. “We’re getting better with every fight and I’m ready.

The swing bout on FS1 saw Chicago’s Shawn Simpson (10-0, 3 Kos) derrota Sergio Quiroz (6-2, 1 KO) of Los Angeles by unanimous decision (60-54 X 3).

The PBC Prelims on FS2 and FOX Deportes featured hard-hitting cruiserweight prospect Efe Apochi (8-0, 8 Kos) of Nigeria continuing his perfect knockout streak as he stopped Brooklyn’s Earl Newman (10-2-1, 7 Kos) 2:17 into round seven.

The FS2 co-main event showcased a welterweight attraction with top prospect Amon Rashidi (7-0, 5 Kos) de Dallas, Texas scoring a sensational knockout over Mexico’sJuan Jesus Garces (19-25, 13 Kos) 2:12 into the fourth round.

In the opening fight of the FS2 telecast, Ghanaian super middleweight Habib Ahmed(27-1-1, 18 Kos) defeated Colombia’s Juan De Angel (21-11-1, 19 Kos) por decisión unánime (80-72 X 3) in an eight-round contest.

LAS VEGAS (Maio 22, 2019) – Light heavyweight brawler Ahmed Elbiali will return to the ring, and for the first time with new trainer Justin Gamber, cando afronta Marlos Simões in a 10-round showdown as part of Premier Boxing Champions on FS1 and FOX Deportes action this Saturday night from Beau Rivage Resort Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

PBC on FS1 and FOX Deportes begins at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT and is headlined by former super welterweight champion Austin “Sen dúbida” Troita returning to the ring to take on former title challenger Terrell Gausha in a 10-round super welterweight battle.

Os ingresos para o evento, que é promovido pola TGB Promocións, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Beau Rivage Theatre box office and through Ticketmaster.

Elbiali has recently began working with a new trainer in Gamber, who also trains super middleweight champion Caleb Plant, and will look to show his improvement in the ring this Saturday night. Here is what he had to say about his new trainer and more:

On training with new coach Justin Gamber:I’ve been learning a lot since I started training with Justin Gamber, which was about six weeks ago. Nothing against my old trainers, I just felt I needed a new look. Justin and I work well together and I’ve improved tremendously. I’m learning how to relax more in the ring, which has helped me keep my power in the later rounds of sparring. Justin is a great coach and together we are going to make some noise in the light heavyweight division.

On his recent training camp:
I’ve put in a lot of hard work for this training camp and I can see the difference compared to other camps I’ve had in the past. I’m working on the fundamentals of boxing, using my jab more and setting up my combinations. I know I have the power to knock out my opponents, but now I’m learning more how to set it up. Living and training in Las Vegas has been a big boost to my career because the sparring out here is second to none. I’m having a great training camp.

On his matchup with Marlos Simões:
I know Simões is a durable opponent who’s only been stopped once in his career. I’m expecting him to be in great shape. He’s had a lot of success in the ring, so I’m preparing for a guy who can really fight. I’m just going to go in there and execute my game plan.

On when he will be ready for a world title shot:
I want to get as many fights as possible this year and make a world title run in 2020. Claro, everything is predicated fight to fight, but that is the goal.

On making his televised return on FS1:
Fighting on FS1 is always fun and exciting. FS1 is the platform where us fighters get the most exposure while we’re coming up. You can’t compare any other network to FOX, where the whole world can tune in. It’s truly a blessing for me to be fighting on FS1.

BILOXI, MS. (Abril 11, 2019) – Former super welterweight champion Austin “Sen dúbida” Troita returns to the ring to take on former title challenger Terrell Gausha in a 10-round super welterweight bout that headlines Premier Boxing Champions on FS1 and FOX Deportes on Saturday, Maio 25 from Beau Rivage Resort Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Na co-metragem, unbeaten super welterweight contenderChordale Booker battles rugged veteranWale Omotoso in a 10-round bout, while sensational unbeaten welterweight prospectEimantas Stanionis will open the broadcast at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT in an eight or 10-round welterweight fight.

Os ingresos para o evento, que é promovido pola TGB Promocións, go on sale Monday, Abril 15 and can be purchased at the Beau Rivage Theatre box office and through Ticketmaster.

Austin Trout has one of the best resumes at super welterweight in the sport today,” dixo Tom Brown, President of TGB Promotions. “He’s been in the ring with some of the best boxers at 154-pounds of this generation and I’ve never seen him in a bad fight. Terrell Gausha doesn’t back down from anyone and that will make for an exciting match against Trout. Chordale Booker will be putting his unbeaten record on the line against Wale Omotoso in what will be one of his toughest tests to date. It’s a show that has something for everyone that attends at Beau Rivage or tunes in to FS1 and FOX Deportes.

Troita (31-5, 17 Kos) has tangled with some of the top super welterweights of this generation, including Saul Alvarez, Erislandy Lara, Miguel Cotta, Jermell and Jermall Charlo and Jarrett Hurd. The 33-year-old from Las Cruces, México, will look to rebound from a majority decision defeat to Jermell Charlo last June. His knockout victory over Joey Hernandez in 2015 headlined the first PBC show on FS1.

“Estou emocionado de volver ao ring,” dixo Trout. “I’m ready to take another chop at the world title and this is my way back. I’m really motivated to get that championship belt again. Gausha is a strong, technical fighter with an Olympic pedigree. I’ve got to get in there and take care of him and look good doing it. A good win over him will get me right back in the mix.

Gausha, de 31 anos (21-1, 10 Kos), a member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic boxing team from Cleveland, Ohio, will look to put himself back into title contention with a victory over Trout. He came up short in his first title fight against Erislandy Lara, losing a unanimous decision in 2017, before rebounding with a knockout victory over Joey Hernandez in his last fight in December.

I feel good about this fight and I think it’s the perfect fight for me,” said Gausha. “With Austin Trout being a former champion and having experience fighting all the top guys in the division, it gives me a chance to show where I’m at. It’s not only about winning, but it’s the way I’ll win that will put people on notice.

Booker (14-0, 7 Kos) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Juan De Angel in January on FS1. The 27-year-old southpaw from Stamford, Conner., was busy in 2018, ida 5-0 con tres knockouts. Booker is very active in his Stamford community as well, running his charity for at-risk youth and training amateurs for the Golden Gloves.

My expectations for myself are to put on the best performance I’ve had in boxing periodamateur or pro,” said Booker. “I’m looking to showcase every ability that I have, not just brute strength. I want to show people that I’m championship caliber. What I see from him is that he’s a game fighter and comes to fight. He likes to come forward. He’s going to try to take it to me. But I can do a lot of things, box going forward, backwards, sideways, or anything it will take to get this win.

The 33-year-old Omotoso (27-3, 21 Kos) is a hard-nosed veteran who will present Booker with his toughest test to date. Born in Lagos, Nixeria, Omotoso learned to fight in the streets before honing his skills in the boxing gym. He calls himself “Neno De Sorte” because he feels fortunate to have made it off the streets alive and become a successful professional boxer. Now training in Los Angeles, Omotoso most recently defeated Freddy Hernandez in December 2017.

I got the call to fight a young, undefeated fighter in Booker and I said bring it on,” said Omotoso. “I’m really happy he took the fight because most people say I’m too dangerous and too tough. I will give it all I got. When I go to the ring I put all my effort and training into the fight. That’s the way this sport is. I know he’s going to come in with all he’s got, but the toughest man will win.

Stanionis (8-0, 5 Kos) is from Kaunas, Lithuania and was a member of the 2016 Lithuanian Olympic boxing team. The 24-year-old, who now lives in Oxnard, California, and trains with Ronnie Shields in Texas, is on the fast track toward being a top contender. He’s continued to impress with victories over durable veterans Levan Ghvamichava and Samuel Figueroa in his last two bouts.

The fourth and fifth stanzas showcased furious exchanges with both fighters leaving every ounce of themselves in the ring.

I thought he was conquered many times,” dixo Lobov. “I dropped him three or four times. He’s a tough, tough kid. He kept coming and coming. That was a great fight.

We all know that I didn’t lose that fight,” dixo Cabaleiro. “We all know that I got robbed. It’s alright, I’m still going to party tonight.

The co-main event featured former UFC veteran vida de Chris quickly overwhelming former Bellator standout Justin Baesman with a devastating left hand, followed by a series of uppercuts that stopped Baesman just :25 in to the light heavyweight contest.

Christine Ferea scored a technical stoppage win over Britain Hart for the Police Gazette American Women’s Featherweight Bare Knuckle Championship. Ferea had Hart in trouble midway through the second round as referee Dan Miragliotta called for time to have Hart’s severely bloodied and bruised left eye checked. The ringside physician stopped the contest moments later at 1:09 in to the second round.

I’m the first woman to ever have this belt,” said Ferea. “I’m going to rep it strong and I’m super happy right now. The first round I was feeling (Hart) fóra. I was watching some of her footage and she can do it all. Así, I just felt out the first round, touching her with the jab. And then the second round that’s when I went in and let my power go.

I would love (a fight against Bec Rawlings)!” added Ferea. “I’ve been asking for a fight with her for three fights. Eu creo que eu merezo.”

Former BKFC heavyweight title challenger Sam Shewmaker and former UFC veteran Chase Sherman fought to a split draw (50-45 Sherman, 48-47 Mostrador, 48-48) in a crowd-pleasing heavyweight attraction that featured spirited exchanges all the way until the final bell of the fifth round.

One BKFC lightweight tournament semi-final matchup saw Reggie Barnett derrota Rusty Crowder por decisión unánime (50-44 X 3). An extremely evasive Crowder was deducted one point in the fourth round for throwing Barnett to the canvas as Barnett cruised to the victory by a wide margin.

After his win, Barnett said, “Everybody expected me and Bedford to be fighting in the championship. Johnny comes to fight. Eu veño para loitar. Así, you’re going to see nothing but fireworks and I personally think it’s a main event-caliber championship fight.

In the other BKFC lightweight tournament semi-final contest Johnny Bedfordparado Abdiel Velázquez :58 in to round four. Bedford scored two knockdowns in the second round, a third in the third frame and sent Velazquez to the canvas for the fourth and final time in round four, with Velazquez electing to not get back up and continue.

Before Barnett and Crowder fought, Bedford prophesied, “I anticipate I’m going to fight Reggie Barnett in the finals. I thought that from the beginning. I think Reggie knew that from the very beginning. And I think Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship knew that from the very beginning by putting us on opposite ends of the bracket. I think it doesn’t matter who you name the number one and number two seeds, we are the two top dogs in this division.

With Barnett and Bedford winning their respective BKFC lightweight tournament semi-final bouts they will now face each other in the finals for a chance at BKFC’s first lightweight championship title.

Na acción eliminatoria, former UFC fighter Isaac Vallie-Flag scored a technical knockout victory over Randy Hedderick in a 165-pound showdown. Vallie-Flagg recorded two knockdowns in the third round and forced Hedderick to quit 1:22 in to round three due to an injured left hand.

Lobov is preparing to take on Jason Cabaleiro no evento principal de “Bkfc 5: Lobov vs. cabaleiro” this Saturday from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi and live on pay-per-view. If he is successful on Saturday night, a highly-anticipated showdown against Malignaggi looms.

Here is what the fighters had to say Tuesday from Mendez Boxing in Manhattan:

Paulie Malignaggi

Without disrespecting Jason Knight, because we’ll see what happens Saturday, but I think everyone here would like to see Malignaggi vs. Lobov. I see that it’s picking up traction and fans in general are talking about it.

When I get Lobov in the ring, the goal is not just to win. I have to really excel and show something more. The goal would be to hurt him bad.

Being in the gym every day gets me excited. In that way, I feel mentally reborn. I’m sure there will be tough days, but that’s par for the course. I think mentally you can find motivation that will spur you on to chase certain goals.

I started talking to David Feldman first about being involved on the broadcast aspect of BKFC. But then he threw out numbers for me to fight that got my attention. Once we got past that first part of the conversation, things started moving along and here we are.

There’s always adjustments to be made in a new discipline as far as how you’re going to throw and receive punches. We’re going to make small adjustments, but your base is your base. My base is boxing and we’re going to keep the things we want to keep.

I’ve watched some of the bare knuckle fights and there are some fundamental differences. There are some things that boxers can take advantage of. But there are also some aspects that boxers might not be used to in bare knuckle.

ARTEM LOBOV

I’m a real fighter and I’m going to fight Paulie in a real fight. I want to make money for it. He knows I’m down. If you’re a real fighter, let’s fight in the ring.

Let’s be honest, Paulie doesn’t want to fight me on the street, because he knows I’d tear him apart in seconds. But I want to prove myself in the boxing ring. That’s why I’m doing this. I want Paulie safe until the day I can finally put my hands on him.

This is the only chance he has to get a shot in on me. When we do get to fight, he won’t get a hand on me, I guarantee that.

I’m here to fight on Saturday night. I’m a true fighter. No one will ever make me quit. I don’t care about anything that Paulie can do to me.

Paulie was always the fight I wanted. It’s ‘night nightfor Jason Knight this Saturday, then it’s on to Paulie. That’s the only fight I want. He deserves to get slapped around.

Jason Knight was a top UFC fighter at one point. He’s a very tough opponent, but his strength was mixing disciplines. Just boxing me, he doesn’t have a chance.

I love the bare knuckle training. This is my game. I love the stand-up fighting. My approach is that if you want to be a good boxer, you have to box a lot. I went into all of the best gyms in Ireland and got great sparring.

BILOXI, MS (Agosto 25, 2018) – “Raíña de Bare Knuckle” Bec Rawlings derrotado Britain Hart por decisión dividida (50-45, 49-45, 48-47) como Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (Bkfc) returned on Saturday withBkfc 2: A New Erafrom the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi e en directo en pago por visión.

I don’t think it was a split decision,” dixo Rawlings. “When I signed on to fight for BKFC they sent us the rules and they said you can’t run from your opponent. You have to engage. You have to toe the line. That’s where they want the action to happen and you’ll lose points if you don’t obey those rules. Así, I definitely was the one pushing the pace tonight. I was in the center the whole time and I landed the harder shots.

After her win over Alma Garcia at BKFC 1, Rawlings was rewarded the National Police Gazette women’s bare knuckle boxing belt. With the win on Saturday, Rawlings retained her title.

Capturing my bare knuckle title and now defending it has been such an honor,” added Rawlings. “When I first got into bare knuckle I had no idea the history and everything. I just thought it was a new and fun way to test myself. Then I got this belt after my win at the first show and I found out what a huge deal this is.

Rawlings concluded, “I’m healthy thankfully. My hands were actually more swollen after my first bare knuckle fight. I’ll probably be good to go again in December, but I’m the champion and I’m here to fight whoever they put in front of me.

The first of two heavyweight tournament semi-final bouts saw thunderous exchanges as Arnold Adams parado Joey Beltran :09 into the fifth frame. An extremely calm and collected Adams controlled much of the action.

I knew I would get the win. I wasn’t really worried about Beltran, he’s had a lot of battles,” dixo Adams. “I just don’t think he has this in him anymore, but he has heart and he showed it tonight that he wants to compete. I’m hungry though, he’s been to the top and competed on some big shows. I haven’t quite gotten there yet, but this is my time and I’m going to seize the moment.

Na rolda de apertura, Adams cut Beltran over his left eye. As the end of the fourth round neared, Adams landed another devastating blow that further opened the cut, forcing the ringside doctor to stop the fight.

I cut him in the first round, but that last jab that cut him I saw the blood pouring out around his eye,” added Adams. “Like a shark, I locked in on him. I was licking my lips, my eyes got big and I did what I needed to get the win.

In the second heavyweight tournament semi-final, Sam Shewmaker derrotado Maurice Jackson por decisión dividida (49-45, 48-45, 48-46).

I was trying to get inside and go to work, but he just wanted to keep wrapping me up,” said Shewmaker. “His style really prevented me from using my game plan. Every time I went inside he’d clinch. It was very frustrating. And it’s hard to work from a distance with a guy that’s so tall.

Jackson did manage to land some clean shots, catching Shewmaker with a left hook that dropped him in the second round.

He got me with some good shots, one kind of behind my head that knocked me down, but I just popped back up and kept fighting,” added Shewmaker. “The knockdown didn’t really bother me, just knocked me a little off balance. I felt fine shortly after.

The wins by Adams and Shewmaker set up the finals of the heavyweight tournament with the pair expected to face each other at BKFC 3.

It’s time to turn it up,” dixo Adams. “Sam Shewmaker has power in both hands, but I’m ready for anyone.

I expect fireworks when I face Adams,” said Shewmaker. “He has a good jab, but I have a good jab too and I like to bang. Así, it should make for a great matchup in the finals.
