GH3 Promotions signs Former World Title Challenger Dominic Wade

NUTLEY, NJ., (Listopad 5, 2018) – GH3 Promotions has signed former world title challenger and middleweight contender Dominic Wade to a Promotional deal.

Wade suffered his only professional defeat in that fight, and has not fought since the world title opportunity.

 

 

 

“I am excited to get back in the ring, and the show the world what I got. I will get back to the top of the rankings, and do it better, and more proper this time.” said Wade.

 

 

 

“It is time to show the world that I am back. I want to take my time until the big fights come up. I can see me in fights against Canelo Alvarez, Golvkin, Daniel Jacobs, Jermall Charlo, Demetrius Andrade or any of the other top middleweights out there. I feel that after a couple of fights, I will be up there with the top names in the division. I am just excited to do my thing. I got to the top of the rankings with just natural talent. Now I have a good team behind me with GH3 Promotions, I have a great work ethic, and I am back with my original trainer Adrian Davis. I feel the best is still ahead of me.”

 

 

 

 

 

“I feel that we can get Dominic back to the top really soon. I plan to have him fight November 17th in Indiana, then I want to bring him back in December in New Jersey, and a 3rd fight in January, that will get him in a fight that will get him in position. He has always had the talent, now he is with us, and we will have him on a schedule to get him back in the rankings, and eventually another world title shot,” said Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions.

Isiah Seldon ready for undefeated middleweight Tyler Howard on November 16th in Oklahoma City

Atlantic City, NJ (Listopad 1, 2018) – Middleweight Isiah Seldon is getting ready for his biggest fight of his career when he takes on undefeated Tyler Howard in a bout scheduled for eight-round on November 16th at The Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

New WBA Middleweight Champion Rob Brant Basking in the Glow, but Ready for ‘Next Assignment’

Brand-new WBA World Middleweight Champion Rob “Bravo” Brant says he goes everywhere with his new best friend. “The belt hasn’t left my side since they handed it to me,” laughs the personable new champion from Saint Paul, Minnesota.

 

 

 

28-letý Brant (24-1, 16 KO) says he went into his main-event showdown with then champion Ryota Murata (14-2, 11 KO), last Saturday night at the Park MGM in Las Vegas (and live on ESPN+), unaware he was such a heavy underdog.

 

 

 

“I really did go into it very confident I would win, just off the preparations we did,” said Brant, who was having his first fight with former world champion Eddie Mustafa Muhammad as his trainer. “I tried to stay away from news when I was in training, so I had no idea how big of an underdog I was. We had a post-fight press conference and that was when I found out. When reporters were asking about it. I had no idea. It wouldn’t have deterred me anyway if I had known.”

 

 

 

Despite the doubts of the bookmakers, Brant cruised to a lopsided 12-round unanimous decision over 2012 Olympic gold medalist Murata, with two judges giving him all but one round, the other all but two. Brant busted up the now ex-champion with a piston-like jab and peppered him with combinations throughout what turned out to be a surprisingly dominant performance.

 

 

 

According to CompuBox statistics, Brant landed 356 na 1,262 údery (28 procento) while Murata connected with just 180 na 774 (23 procento).

 

 

 

“As a pro, he hasn’t seen what I gave him,” explained Brant. We knew he had a hard time with hand speed and jabs. He locks up when punches are being thrown, so we made sure we kept him backing up and worried about the jab and punches in general. The more he thinks about my shots, the less he throws. We knew we’d be able to keep him on his back foot. Eddie Mustafa is very strict on letting the hands go. We were big on the cardio in training and keeping the punch rate high. And when you’re keeping the jab out there all the time, other shots open up.”

 

 

 

Brant says at fight’s end, he wasn’t worried about the decision going his way.

 

 

 

“I’ve always felt that judges’ decisions are out of my hands. I was nervous about it, you don’t know until they announce your name, but I knew I had done what I felt was my best work. I had a great sense of pride and relief knowing I put it all out there and did everything possible to win. But now that I have won, it’s kind of like having giant weight lifted off my shoulders. It’s definitely my biggest accomplishment ever, winning in Vegas against a former Olympic gold medallist. It’s everything I ever worked for. It was the best feeling in the world. I knew how much I worked for that. Boxing gives back what you put into it and I put my everything into it.”

 

 

 

Although Brant and promoters GCP reportedly agreed to a rematch before the fight, the new champion says he’s not sure the now ex-champion wants it.

 

 

 

“All the talk of a rematch has been from his promoters. I haven’t heard him say anything about it. He might be a little discouraged right now. I’m not saying he won’t be able to come back, but I don’t think he wants it right now. I’ll just go on to bigger and better in the division. Once you win a title, there are no more easy fights. Until you are the undisputed king, you’re always taking steps up in class in every fight.”

 

 

 

Brant says he took a week off but is now back in the gym and ready for what comes next.

 

 

 

“I’m just waiting for the next assignment to work toward. I want to know who my next opponent is as soon as possible, so I can go to sleep at night thinking of what I’m going to do. Watching film and looking for flaws and things I can exploit. That’s when I‘m really the most comfortable. When I have an assignment. It’ll be a big name eventually. I’m there now. So I’m just waiting to see who is next for me to spend all my time watching that person.”

 

 

 

Brant gives a big piece of the credit for his upset victory to the only man to ever beat him. “The thought of what happened against Braehmer was always in the background. That’s what really motivated me to be the best I could in this fight. I knew I was better than I was in that fight. I had to prove it by doing what I’m capable of. The loss to Braehmer will be in the back of my mind forever. I won’t let anyone else do that to me again. I will never forget that loss and I’ve been a better fighter from that point forward.”

WBO ON SAUNDERS-ANDRADE

World Boxing Organization (WBO) President Francisco Valcárcel Mulero commented today on Billy Joe Saunders inability to defend his World Middleweight Championship, as per contractually agreed, against Demetrius Andrade on October 20th.

 

This after the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission voted today against granting him a boxing license following a failed doping test on August 30th.

 

“It is unfortunate that a boxer as talented as Saunders is facing this controversy and will not be able to defend the title,” said Valcarcel today. “The WBO will examine the situation with due diligence and proceed according to its ‘Rules & Regulations’ decide which is the proper course of action”.

 

Valcárcel, a practizing attorney, added that if Andrade fights the first available contender, the WBO Championship Committee will consider sanctioning the bout.

“Therefore, the clash between Demetrius Andrade and Walter Kautondonkwa scheduled for October 20th will now be for the vacant World Crown”.

 

"Taky, I will recommend to the WBO Executive Committee that Saunders receives a six month suspension for his transgression”.

Jaký je to pocit podepsat smlouvu s UFC?

 

 

 

Z: “Jsem nadšený, že podepíšu smlouvu s nejlepší propagací na světě, ale vím, že můj debutový zápas nebude snadný, Krátce nastupuji dva týdny před představením. Chystal jsem se za pár měsíců obhajovat svůj pás v M-1 Global, takže teď musím rychle zhubnout. Nejtěžší není jen zhubnout, ale pak se dobře uzdravit. PITTSBURGH – Srpen 29, 2018 – Chris Middendorf’s Victory Boxing Promotions has signed under-the-radar amateur Kiante Irving to a promotional deal. The 24 year-old middleweight is set to make his professional debut this Sunday in West Virginia.

 

 

 

A 6’3″ middleweight, Irving heads into Sunday’s debut with a National Golden Gloves Championship under his belt, having topped the 165-pound division in the 2018 turnaj. Despite a slew of state and national titles under his belt, Irving began boxing late, compared to his peers.

 

 

Byl 16 when he walked into Tom Yankello’s gym, having been drawn to the squared circle after being unable to find his niche in other sports. Raised by a single mom, boxing was an outlet for Irving, and served as an escape from the poverty and stress that ensconced his home life. It soon became clear that boxing would long be a part of his future.

 

 

 

A humble spirit, Irving kept his head down and his eye on the ball through various family traumas that included an eviction and his brother’s near-fatal battle with Chrohn’s Disease. Jeho mladší bratr, whom he credits as an inspiration and role model, survived the brush with death to become a firefighter. Irving hopes to use his time in the ring to boost awareness of the disease, and to seize the opportunity to live out his dreams, much like his brother has done in recent years.

 

 

 

After his Golden Gloves Victory, Irving’s trainer Tom Yankello, and his brother and co-manager Mark Yankello, along with Irving, came to the decision that it was time to join the professional ranks. The two managers, operating under the banner Tom Yankello Boxing, Inc., connected with boxing promoter Chris Middendorf and Victory Boxing Promotions. Middendorf, who has helped build the careers of many of today’s world champions, seized the opportunity to work with Irving and the Yankellos.

 

 

 

“I am very excited to add Kiante to Victory Boxing’s stable,” said Middendorf. I had the pleasure of doing a series of shows in Pittsburgh with welterweight Sammy Vasquez, culminating in an ESPN and then a ShowBox show, and a series of events at Consol Energy Center [now the PPG Arena.] I can’t wait to be back in Pittsburgh, promoting another top prospect. It really is a tremendous sports town, and they really come out to support their local athletes.”

 

 

 

Middendorf was complimentary of the Yankello Brothers. “I have known his trainer and co-manager, Tom and Mark Yankello, příslušně, by reputation for many years, and have enjoyed working with them. Minneapolis (Srpen 24, 2018) – Welterweight uchazečem Jamal James (24-1, 11 KO)dal svému rodnému davu pamlsek, když posílal Mahonry Montes (35-8-1, 24 KO)na plátno pro druhé kolo knockout v hlavní události nabité tříhodinové noci Champions Premier Boxerské akce v pátek ze zbrojnice v Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

 

 

“Přišel jsem sem udělat prohlášení a jsem ještě šťastnější, že to mohu udělat přímo tady doma,” řekl James. “Podpora v Minnesotě je úžasná a dala mi další motivaci odvést práci velkolepým způsobem. Každý ví, že útočím na tělo a dnes večer jsem toho dokázal využít k dokončení”

Na konci akce viděli všichni tři rozhodčí zápas ve prospěch Stanionise se skórem 80-72 a 79-73 dvakrát.

 

 

 

Přídavná akční pila Jeison Rosario (16-1-1, 11 KO) dosáhnout jednomyslného rozhodnutí nad Jamontay Clark (13-1, 7 KO) v jejich 10kolovém zápase super welterové váhy.

 

 

 

Rosario ve třetím kole zaznamenala výrazný knockdown pomocí protiúderové pravé ruky, kdy Clark vypadl z ringu. Clark se dokázal vrátit do ringu a porazit hraběte, ale během zápasu utrpěl větší poškození, než prohrál o skóre 99-90, 98-91 a 97-92, vše ve prospěch Rosaria.

 

 

 

Plánovaný zápas těžké váhy skončil šokujícím způsobem ještě předtím, než vůbec začal, jako vyhlídka těžké váhy karikatura Ajagba (6-0, 5 KO) byl oceněn vítězstvím diskvalifikací proti Curtis Harper (13-6, 9 KO) když Harper odešla z ringu chvíli poté, co zazvonilo úvodní zvonění, rozhodl se nečelit Ajagbovi.

Tampa, Florida – (Srpen 20, 2018) –In a surprising about-face, Middleweight Connor Coyle has voluntarily relinquished his NBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title and William Silva has voluntarily relinquished his NBA Lightweight World Title.

 

 

 

“We were notified by Coyle’s and Silva’s promoter Fire Fist Boxing Promotions that they have chosen to go a different direction. The Promoter notified the NBA via email in early July. Fire Fist was made aware of champion obligations regarding defense of the belt, resulting in Fire Fist Promotions deciding to voluntarily vacate the titles,” said Damon Gonzales, President of the NBA.

 

 

 

Connor Coyle (8-0, 3 KO) from Derry, Ireland won the NBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title against Danny Pastrana on June 16, 2018.

 

 

 

William Silva (25-2, 15 KO) from Plant City, Florida won the NBA Lightweight World Title on March 3, 2018 against Rogelio Casarez.
