Televised coverage on Televisa begins at 10:30 μ.μ. At last year’s Rio games, the 23-year-old Rodriguezovercame incredible odds to win the first Olympic boxing medal for Mexico since Christian Bejerano in 2000. The Chihuahua native and his teammates had to resort to begging on public buses and streets in Mexico to raise money to compete in international boxing tournaments. He completed his road to the medal stand by defeating Egypt’s Hosam Bakr Abdin to clinch a medal in the middleweight division. Rodriguez made his pro debut in April with a dominant decision victory over Brian True in Los Angles.
A teammate of Rodriguez on the 2016 Ολυμπιακή ομάδα του Μεξικού, Delgadomade his pro debut in style in April with a third round stoppage of Luis Angel Silva. The 22-year-old captured gold at the 2016 American Olympic Qualification to earn his trip to Rio. NEW YORK – May 25, 2017 – Combate Americas will make its highly-anticipated return to Mexico City, Μεξικό, with a stacked lineup of professional Mixed Martial Arts (ΜΜΑ) action at the storied Salas de Armas on Παρασκευή, Ιούνιος 30, live on Azteca America at 10 μ.μ. ΚΑΙ.

In the “Combate 15” lightweight (155 λίρες) Main Event, recent Combate Americas “Fight of the Night” winner Danny “The Realist” Ramirez (6-2) will square off with seasoned battler Rodrigo “Kazula” Vargas (6-3).

Standing 5-foot-5, Monterrey’s Yajaira Romo looks to return to the win column after her three-fight win streak was halted in early 2016. “Shokolate” is a member of the famed Combate Libre Academia, and possesses knockout power in both hands.

National teams from the United States, Καναδάς, Μεξικό, Κόστα Ρίκα, Νικαράγουα, Κολομβία, Εκουαδόρ, Βενεζουέλα, Ουρουγουάη, Βραζιλία, along with special guest Spain, are expected to compete in the 2017 Pan-American Championships.
“Representing your country on the biggest continental competition of nations, it strikes you, your heart starts to race in anticipation of the grand journey into WMMAA history,” Pan-American Division president Tomas Yu είπε.
The PAN-AM Board of Directors met again this past month during a collaboration with USA Boxing, during the latter’s 2017 Western Elite Qualifier & Regional Open, when the tentative announcement was made that Monterrey (Μεξικό) would be the event host this July.

WBC SANCTIONS SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT ELIMINATOR BETWEEN UNDEFEATED DAVID BENAVIDEZ AND ROGELIO MEDINA FOR #2 MANDATORY TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Now that sanction has officially been granted, the next fight for red-hot undefeated super middleweight David “Η Κόκκινη Σημαία” Benavidez will be an eliminator for the #2 mandatory challenger spot in the WBC’s world rankings against highly regarded contender Rogelio “Χοιροειδής” Medina, της Σονόρα, Μεξικό.

Camp with him is hard work and training here in Big Bear gets you to the next level. The hard work I’m doing here will definitely get me this win.”

Promoter Lewkowicz says any remaining questions about young Benavidez will be answered in this fight.

Reynoso to Face Valenzuela for WBC Silver Latino Super Bantamweight Championship on April 1 in Guadalajara, Μεξικό

As part of TyC’s ongoing 25th anniversary celebration of boxing shows, this exciting event will feature a 10-round battle for the WBC Silver Latino Super Bantamweight Championship between Buenos Aires, Argentina’s Roman Ruben Reynoso (19-1-2, 8 KOs) and Sonora, Mexico’s Christian “Molacho” Valenzuela (13-0-1, 8 KOs).
Reynoso has left his native Argentina just twice in his career, but on one of those occasions, fought to a split draw with well-regarded prospect Adam Lopez on ShoBox: The New Generation in July 2016. Like Reynoso, the undefeated Valenzuela has never left his home country, but has stayed busy with 14 fights in his three-year career.
In the chief supporting bout, Αργεντινής 2016 Summer Olympian Alberto Palmetta will go for his third consecutive victory as a professional against Mexico City’s Luis Montelongo (4-1).

Στο εκρηκτικό 10-στρογγυλό κύριο γεγονός, Μπουένος Άιρες, Αργεντινή αήττητο Χουάν Χοσέ “ο Pitbull” Velasco (14-0, 8 KOs) θα υπερασπιστεί WBA Fedebol Welterweight πρωτάθλημα του ενάντια μόλις-κτυπημένο Fernando “Cacho” Marin (13-1-3, 9 KOs) του Μοντερέι, Μεξικό.

Ντάλας, TX (Σεπτέμβριος 12, 2016) – IBF #8 super bantamweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle and his team arrived in Dallas this afternoon after leaving Puerto Rico earlier today.
Valley, who hails from Bayamon, meets unbeaten Diego De La Hoya, 15-0 (9 KO του), Σάββατο evening over ten rounds in what is expected to be a classic Puerto Rico vs Mexico slugfest.
