The 31-year-old Silveira fought for a long time with bones spurs in his right elbow. “I learned a lot about different training methods that I now use,” Irvin continued. “His techniques are phenomenal. After all he’s accomplished, he still has a great work ethic, and I learned from him that a fighter need continue working like he does until the day it’s all over. It’s not all about money, it’s having fun every day, doing what we love.”

A capacity crowd of 1,700 rocked the vintage venue from start to finish.
