Lebrón and Vicente grab WBO Belts

Barranquilla, Colombia – Puerto Rico’s featherweight Luis “Popeye” Lebrón (11-0-1, 5 KO oa) and WBO #13 ranked super bantamweight YenifelEl Rayo” Vicente (32-3-2, 24 KO oa) ya Dominican Republic, defeated their respective opponents in scheduled WBO Latino title bouts held at Hotel El Prado.

 

 

 

 

Lebrón won the title by unanimous decision (95-93, 95-93, 98-91) over Colombian Luis Ruiz (9-2, 9 KO oa). Ruiz was knocked to the canvas in the second and ninth rounds. Ntango wana, Vicente, who is promoted by DiBella Entertainment, defeated Colombian veteran Walberto Ramos (24-9-2, 17 KO oa) by 4th round TKO. In another bout of interest, former Puerto Rican Olympian and part of Top Rank, Jeyvier Cintrón (5-0, 3 KO oa) of Bayamón, won by technical knockout in the fourth round against Jonathan Burgos (13-5-1, 8 KO oa) ho tloha Colombia.
