ADAM LOPEZ VS. DANNY ROMAN – 10 Rounds, Super Bantamweights

RONALD ELLIS VS. CHRISTOPHER BROOKER, 8 Rounds, Super Moyens

Ellis, de Lynn, Massachusetts, and Brooker, de Philadelphie, are making their second ShoBox départs. Like Lopez, they fought Feb. 19, 2016, à Atlantic City. The Philadelphia native was a top level amateur who has been active since turning professional in 2015.

 

KENNETH SIMS JR. VS. WELLINGTON ROMERO – 8 Rounds, Super Lightweights

Sims, de Chicago, is matched with unquestionably the most dangerous opponent of a career that began in March 2014. This will be the eight-round debut for the 23-year-old, who has gone six full rounds six times.

 

“This is the biggest fight of my career,’’ said Sims, who is coming off a six-round decision over Jonathan Dinong dernier Novembre. 11. “I will be prepared for anything that I have to do. STEPHON YOUNG VS. DANIEL ROSAS – 8 Rounds, Super Bantamweights

 

Jeune, de St. Louis, is making his second ShoBox Démarrer. In his debut, he boxed a 10-round draw with previously undefeated Nikolai Potapov (14-0) in April of 2016.

 

“To be able to be back on ShoBox feels good,” said Young, who registered a majority 10-round decision over previously once-beaten Juan Lopez Jr. in his last scrap on Sept. 30, 2016. “My first fight on ShoBox was not a fair decision. It was my first 10-rounder and I feel like I won the fight. This time I will be able to show more of what I have.

 

“Training has been great. I already have been in camp for two months. The fight against Potapov was my first with my new coach (Herman Caicedo), and this will be our third fight. We won the NABA title by beating Lopez and now we’re back.”

The 25-year-old Young, who is currently ranked No. 9 dans la WBA, was an experienced amateur who compiled a record of 86-13 while representing the U.S. in a number of tournaments. In the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2011, he lost to the No. 1-rated amateur, Rau'shee Warren.

 

The 27-year-old Rosas, la ville de Mexico, is a nine-year veteran who is experienced against top opposition. GH3 Promotions signs undefeated Welterweight Kenneth Sims Jr.

Nutley, New Jersey (Août 22, 2016) – GH3 Promotions is proud to announce the signing of undefeated junior welterweight prospect, Kenneth Sims Jr. to promotional contract.

GH3 Promotions will co-promote Sims with Antonio Leonard Productions.
Sims of Chicago is perfect as a professional, as he sports a record of 7-0 avec deux KO.
Sims was a highly acclaimed amateur, who amassed over 200 fights who became a 2-time National PAL Champion, Sims Jr. was also the 2013 USA National Champion, a Silver Gloves Champion, a Junior Olympic Bronze Medalist, a 3-time Ringside World Champion and a 2012 Olympic Trials Semifinalist.
Sims turned professional on March 7, 2014 with a win over Corey Mudrew and has racked up six wins since, with the latest being a six -round unanimous decision over Tavorus Teague on March 11, 2016 in Tustin, Californie.
Sims will be back in action on September 15th as part of the televised undercard that will feature Thomas LaManna and Dusty Hernandez-Harrison from Philadelphia on the CBS Sports Network.
“This is another key signing for us,”said GH3 Promotions CEO, Vito Mielnicki. “Kenneth is another young and talented fighter who fits in with the blueprint we have set up for our athletes. Jeune, good amateur career and guys who are looking to fight often and are willing to step up. I am happy to be partnering with Antonio Leonard Productions and working with Kenneth’s manager James Prince and I will be looking to work with them more in the future with other fighters.”
“I am excited to be back boxing and getting back to work,” said Sims. “I am looking forward to being on television. This fight will get me the exposure and people who will know me.”
Like other GH3 Promotions fighters, look for Sims to be fighting regularly. That is a schedule that Sims will relish.

Sims’ talent was recognized in a big way in those camps.
“We are very excited to be with Vito and GH3 Promotions,” said Sims uncle and adviser Ed Burns. “Vito is committed to take Kenneth to the next level. With continued hard work and commitment, we all believe that he will be a world champion. That was echoed by Freddie Roach after Kenneth sparred with Pacquiao for a month.”

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (Janvier 11, 2015) – Chicago’s undefeated Jr. Welterweight perspective, Kenneth Sims Jr. (5-0, 2 KOs) extended on his winning streak this past Samedi at the Madison Square Garden Theater with a dominating unanimous decision against tough opponent, Christian Steele (4-12, 1 KO).

 

Sims Jr., who was fighting in is second 6-round bout in only his fifth pro fight, showed why he was a top amateur standout, showcasing advanced boxing skills winning every round convincingly. With each fight Sims Jr. feels he’s improving and wants to have a big 2015.

 

“I’m enjoying my journey as a professional,” said Kenneth Sims Jr. “I feel I’m getting better every time I step in the ring. There is always room for improvement and I’m going to continue working hard in the gym. Gary Shaw has said there will be many opportunities for me to take my career to the next level in 2015 and I want take full advantage of everything that comes my way. I’m hoping to make a quick return back to the ring.”
