The Philadelphia welterweight secured his 13th win at the Durham Armory in North Carolina last Thursday, besting Robert Hill over three rounds.

Kalnas, a veteran of forty fights, came to Durham just one fight removed from an impressive upset victory over the Dominican Republic’s Eudy Bernardo (21-2, 15KO). After three rounds that included Ennis’ trademark punishment to the body, Hill’s corner declined to send him back into the ring for the fourth round, handing Ennis his 13th victory, and his 11th by stoppage.

“I only got hit one time during the fight,” said Ennis. “I went in there, and had fun like I always do. He backed up the whole time. When I first came, I was touching him to the body a lot, and that slowed him down. He didn’t come out for the fourth round.”

Ennis returns to the ring in the co-main event August 12th at Nations Fight Night at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington DC. Ennis will be the co-feature in what will be his first eight-round bout. “I’m thankful to have been so busy since my debut,” said Ennis. “It keeps me sharp, and I’m excited for my first eight rounder. I’m ready to show more of my talent, and the results of my hard work.”

Filadelfija – Sausis 28, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions kicked off 2017 with a bang at 2300 Arena Pietų Filadelfijoje. Philly boxing fans were treated to seven fights featuring undefeated, world class talent, headlined by four-time National Amateur Champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis versus Puerto Rico’s Elvin Perez.

Ennis remained undefeated when an early body shot brought Perez to his knees in the first round of their scheduled six round contest. Perez was unable to continue, and Ennis improved to 9-0, su 8 of his wins coming by knockout.

Super Brawl: The Undefeated to feature elite prospects from Philadelphia and beyond

PHILADELPHIA – Sausis 26, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions returns to 2300 Arena į Filadelfija tonight with an eight-bout card stacked with elite, undefeated prospects. It is the first of three events that Victory Boxing has on the books at the storied arena in 2017. Valcarcel is coming off a 6th round stoppage defeat to undefeated Erick DeLeon on June 25th in Dallas, Teksasas.

“I know he is a 2004 Olimpinis. He is a veteran and a crafty fighter. He has a surviving style in the sense he is defensive and crafty. He is not a knockout puncher but you have to respect anyone who puts on those gloves,” said Lopez of his opponent.

Lopez is ready to show his skills in front of the knowledgeable Philadelphia fight crowd.

“I always know that Philly is a great fight town. I actually want to see the park here “The Fresh Prince” was bullied at,” Lopez said laughingly.
