JARONBOOTSENNIS STOPS ROBERT HILL FOR THIRTEENTH VICTORY

One of boxing’s most exciting prospects, Ennis returns 12 août à Washington DC
POUR DIFFUSION IMMÉDIATE

Philadelphie – Juin 27, 2017 – Promotions de boxe Victory’ most talked-about prospect, Jaron “Bottes” Ennis, has much to celebrate for his 20th birthday today. The Philadelphia welterweight secured his 13th win at the Durham Armory in North Carolina last Thursday, besting Robert Hill over three rounds.

Colline, a veteran of forty fights, came to Durham just one fight removed from an impressive upset victory over the Dominican Republic’s Eudy Bernardo (21-2, 15KO). After three rounds that included Ennistrademark punishment to the body, Hill’s corner declined to send him back into the ring for the fourth round, handing Ennis his 13th victory, and his 11th by stoppage.

I only got hit one time during the fight,” Saïd Ennis. “I went in there, and had fun like I always do. He backed up the whole time. When I first came, I was touching him to the body a lot, and that slowed him down. He didn’t come out for the fourth round.

Ennis returns to the ring in the co-main event 12 août at Nations Fight Night at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington DC. Ennis will be the co-feature in what will be his first eight-round bout. “I’m thankful to have been so busy since my debut,” Saïd Ennis. “It keeps me sharp, and I’m excited for my first eight rounder. I’m ready to show more of my talent, and the results of my hard work.

Tickets for Nations Fight Night are priced $60-2000, and are available through Ticketmaster. Portes pour l'événement ouvert à 6:00 p.m. and the first bell is at 7:00 p.m.sur 12 août.

Victory Prospects Continue on the Fast Track – Ennis & Sanchez Score Wins

POUR DIFFUSION IMMÉDIATE

KENSINGTON, MARYLAND – Mai 17, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions is keeping with its promise to keep its top prospects busy, avec Jaron “Bottes” Ennis (11-0, 9KO) et Carlos “La Tiburon” Sanchez (13-0, 12KO) stepping into the ring in Virginia and Mexico over the weekend.

Ennis’ bout, which was scheduled for six rounds, was the fourth this year for the highly-touted prospect. He faced journeyman Eduardo Flores (25-27-3, 15KO), stopping him in the fourth round. The fight was a learning experience for Ennis, who has faced increasingly more experienced competition in his last three fights. Flores has bouts with Egis Kavaliauskas, Brad Salomon, Kermit Cintron under his belt, and gave boxing fans in attendance at the Masonic Temple in Norfolk, Virginia a good show before having the fight stopped by the referee at 1:57 of the fourth round due to an accumulation of unanswered punches. Ennis wasted no time in returning to the gym, where he trains with his father, “Bozy” Ennis, to prepare for his next bout, 10 juin à Atlantic City, New Jersey. It is the first of four bouts already scheduled into the third quarter of 2017. The welterweight sensation has stayed busy, racking up eleven wins in thirteen months.

This is what we’ve planned for Victory Boxing’s prospects,” said Victory Boxing Promoter Chris Middendorf. “We want to keep them busy and keep them learning. Boots is a special talent, and we want to get him in the ring and in front of his fans as much as possible.

Carlos “La Tiburon” Sanchez returned to his hometown of San Felipe, Mexico for the first time since his January 2016 débuts professionnels, facing Ivan “Tigre” Chevelas, un vétéran de 33 combats. Scheduled for six rounds, the fight ended in the fourth, with Carlos dropping Chevelas twice en route to landing a barrage of punches, which prompted the referee to wave off the fight. Sanchez has also been busy, racking up thirteen wins in just 19 mois.

Victory Boxing Promotions has a busy summer ahead. One of the promotion’s most promising prospects (et 2017 high school graduate), welters Brandun Lee (2-0, 2KO) is back in action June 1st à Phoenix, et poids mouche Manuel Flores fait ses débuts professionnels ce samedi in Palm Springs.
