The Philadelphia welterweight secured his 13th win at the Durham Armory in North Carolina last Thursday, besting Robert Hill over three rounds.

Kopec, a veteran of forty fights, came to Durham just one fight removed from an impressive upset victory over the Dominican Republic’s Eudy Bernardo (21-2, 15KO). After three rounds that included Ennis’ trademark punishment to the body, Hill’s corner declined to send him back into the ring for the fourth round, handing Ennis his 13th victory, and his 11th by stoppage.

“I only got hit one time during the fight,” said Ennis. “I went in there, and had fun like I always do. He backed up the whole time. When I first came, I was touching him to the body a lot, and that slowed him down. He didn’t come out for the fourth round.”

Ennis returns to the ring in the co-main event August 12th at Nations Fight Night at the historic Howard Theatre in Washington DC. Ennis will be the co-feature in what will be his first eight-round bout. “I’m thankful to have been so busy since my debut,” said Ennis. “It keeps me sharp, and I’m excited for my first eight rounder. I’m ready to show more of my talent, and the results of my hard work.”

It is the first of four bouts already scheduled into the third quarter of 2017. The welterweight sensation has stayed busy, racking up eleven wins in thirteen months.

Carlos “Tiburon” Sanchez returned to his hometown of San Felipe, Mexico for the first time since his January 2016 Profesionální debut, facing Ivan “Tygr” Chevelas, veterán 33 boje. Scheduled for six rounds, the fight ended in the fourth, with Carlos dropping Chevelas twice en route to landing a barrage of punches, which prompted the referee to wave off the fight. Philadelphie – Leden 28, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions kicked off 2017 with a bang at 2300 Arena v jižní Philadelphii. Philly boxing fans were treated to seven fights featuring undefeated, world class talent, headlined by four-time National Amateur Champion Jaron “Boty” Ennis versus Puerto Rico’s Elvin Perez.

Ennis remained undefeated when an early body shot brought Perez to his knees in the first round of their scheduled six round contest. Perez was unable to continue, and Ennis improved to 9-0, s 8 of his wins coming by knockout.

V co-hlavní události, local boxer/cop Manny Folly sensationally knocked out Carlos Morgan (12-5, 6KO) v prvním kole, bringing his record to 9-0, 7KO.

Super Brawl: The Undefeated to feature elite prospects from Philadelphia and beyond

PHILADELPHIA – Leden 26, 2017 – Victory Boxing Promotions returns to 2300 Aréna v Philadelphie tonight with an eight-bout card stacked with elite, undefeated prospects. It is the first of three events that Victory Boxing has on the books at the storied arena in 2017. It’s a step up in competition for Ennis, who beat Marcus Bedford via sixth round technical knockout in December. “We are moving Boots very fast,” Victory Boxing Promotions Founder and Promoter said of the young talent, who began his pro career last April with four national amateur championships and two of Philadelphia’s famed Briscoe Awards under his belt. “Boots is the real deal, and we’re going to see how he fares against a much more experienced opponent v sobotu.”

PHILADELPHIA – Prosinec 27, 2016 – Victory Boxing Promotions kicks off 2017 s “Super Brawl,” a ten-bout card featuring world class talent from Philadelphia and beyond, Sobota, January 28th na 2300 Arena in South Philly.

Jaron Ennis (8-0, 7KO) will showcase his talents at welterweight in his ninth fight since his professional debut in April of last year. Ennis, who took home his second Briscoe Award earlier this year for his outstanding amateur career, delivered a phenomenal performance in his sixth round stoppage of Marucs Beckford (3-5-3, 1KO) earlier this month. The Ennis family has deep roots in the Philadelphia boxing scene. The 19-year-old is trained by his father and former professional boxer, Jeřáb “bozy” Ennis, and is the younger brother of Derrick “Pooh” Ennis and Farah Ennis, who were themselves accomplished professional boxers.

Another Philadelphia favorite, Super Bantamweight Manny “Major Pain” Pošetilost (8-0, 6KO), continues his quest to remain undefeated, while setting an example for the kids in his community. The Philadelphia Police Officer splits his time between training for boxing and protecting his community and fellow Philadelphia residents. He turned heads in his last fight, a first round knockout win over Hungarian Tibor Nadori (9-7-1, 4KO) v listopadu.

Elite talent, and incredibly hard-hitting Canadian prospect Adam Daranyi (9-0, 9KO), looks to continue his perfect run in a six round bout at super welterweight. “Vím, že je a 2004 Olympian. Je to veterán a lstivý bojovník. Má přežitý styl v tom smyslu, že je defenzivní a lstivý. Není to knockout puncher, ale musíte respektovat každého, kdo si ty rukavice nasadí,” řekl Lopez o svém soupeři.
