In the main event junior middleweights take center stage as unbeaten Nathaniel Gallimore (9-0, 8 KOs) takes on Urman Ryskeldiev (11-3-1, 7 KOs) in an eight rounder for the WBU title. Gallimore is a highly touted prospect based out of Illinois by way of Jamaica and will be stepping up in competition vs Ryskeldiev.
Many other excited fighters will be on the undercard such as Ernest Muhammad Jr., Kelin Sharpe, Joshua Greer Jr., and former world ranked 6’7” heavyweight Razvan Cojanu (12-2, 7 KOs).

Las Vegas (Sept. 8, 2015) – Eight-time world champion Thomas “The Hitman” Hearns has confirmed that he will appear and have a booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the second annual Box Fan Expo that will take place Saturday. The Boxing Expo will coincide with the Floyd Mayweather vs Andre Berto championship fight, which will take place later that evening and Mexican Independence weekend. Tickets to the Box Fan Expo are available online at:http://www.boxfanexpo.
Hearns more famously known as “The Hitman,” became the first boxer in history to win world titles in four divisions. He would also become the first fighter in history to win five world titles in five different divisions. Hearns was named Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year in 1980 and 1984 and is best known for his fights with Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler and Roberto Duran. He was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame in 2012. Hearns will also have on hand, T-shirts, gloves and signed pictures for fans to purchase and enjoy.
Hearns joins his old rival Duran, Tim Bradley, Zab Judah, James Toney, Sergio Martinez, Shawn Porter, Mia St. John, Terry Norris, Joel Casamayor, Fernando Vargas, Ruslan Provodnikov, Ray Mancini, Jessie Vargas, Mike McCallum, Austin Trout, Kevin Kelley, referee Richard Steele, the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame, the World Boxing Council (WBC) and the World Boxing Association (WBA) among early commitments to this year’s Box Fan Expo.
This unique fan experience event, which allowed fans to meet and greet boxing legends, past and current champions and other celebrities of the sport, debuted last September. This year, the Expo will run from10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and once again, allow fans a chance to collect autographs, take photos and purchase merchandise and memorabilia.
Exhibitors such as boxing gear, apparel, broadcasting media and other brand companies who wish to participate will have a chance to showcase their products to fans and the whole boxing industry.
Last year’s inaugural Box Fan Expo featured some of the most popular fighters and boxing celebrities in recent history. Fans were treated to visits with Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Jr, Martinez, Amir Khan, Judah, Mikey Garcia,Toney, Riddick Bowe, Leon Spinks Terry Norris, Porter, Chris Byrd, Jesse James Leija, Lamon Brewster, Ray Mercer, Earnie Shavers, St-John, Erislandy Lara, Peter Quillin, Jean Pascal and Austin Trout. Trey Lippe-Morrison joins forces with Freddie Roach!

Tulsa, OK (August 4, 2015) – Heavyweight knockout king Trey Lippe-Morrison is now training under Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.
A seven-time Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) Trainer of the Year, Roach’s resume is amongst the greatest in history. During the last quarter century, Roach trained countless greats including Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya, Bernard Hopkins, Mike Tyson, Wladimir Klitschko, James Toney, Michael Moorer, Ruslan Provodnikov Amir Khan and Guillermo Rigondeaux amongst others. In 2012, Roach was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame.
“Freddie and I connected well during our first session,” said Lippe-Morrison, who was previously trained by fellow legend Jesse Reid before logistics amicably ended their relationship. “It means the world that Freddie wants to work with me because I’m only 8-0. The majority of his fighters are at the championship level and I’m not there yet. I expect to get great sparring at the Wild Card Gym and receive constant feedback from the training staff.”
With a perfect 8-0 record, Lippe-Morrison’s dynamic punching power had Roach raving amongst his peers at Wild Card. On May 30, Morrison continued his path of destruction, stopping Thomas Jones in the second stanza. Having drawn comparisons to his late father Tommy Morrison, Trey’s working extremely hard to improve and show the boxing world his skills make him worthy of attention, not his last name. A staple at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OK as part of the “Four State Franchise”, Lippe-Morrison has what it takes to become America’s next great heavyweight according to Roach.
“I’m really looking forward to working Trey’s corner for the first time later this month,” said Roach. “He has tremendous power in both hands. We’re going to knock a lot of people out!”
Lippe-Morrison’s Promoter Tony Holden of Holden Productions is overjoyed that his prized prospect is training with the man widely considered the best trainer in the sport and believes the sky’s the limit.
“I’m excited to have Freddie on board,” said Holden. I knew Trey was special but Freddie working with him confirms that. Trey’s dad was a great fighter who’s biggest attribute was power. Trey has more raw power than his father did and I truly mean that. It’s going to be great to see his career develop under Freddie Roach.”
Lippe-Morrison’s first match under the tutelage of Roach comes August 29 at Memorial Hall in Joplin, MO.

Martinez is an Argentine retired professional boxer. He is the former Lineal, The Ring, WBO and WBC middleweight champion, and his 50-month reign as Lineal middleweight champion ranks as one of the longest in the division’s history. Martinez was previously in the light-middleweight division, where he held the WBC light-middleweight title (interim then elevated to full-status champion).
Martínez was formerly rated as the number three pound-for-pound best boxer in the world — behind Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao — by most sporting news and boxing websites, including Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Yahoo! Sports, and The Ring. In 2010, he received The Ring and BWAA “Fighter of the Year” and The Ring “Knockout of the Year” awards. In 2010 and 2012, he received the World Boxing Council “Boxer of the Year” award. Martinez holds notable victories over former world champions Kelly Pavlik, Paul Williams, Sergiy Dzinziruk, Darren Barker and Julio César Chávez Jr.
Outside the ring, Martínez has been an active spokesperson in the fight against bullying and domestic violence against women. He is the author of the book Corazón de Rey (“Heart of a King”).
Martinez is also part owner of a health and fitness gym company named Brooklyn FitBoxing, headquartered in Madrid, Spain.

Porter’s spectacular win over Adrien “The Problem” Broner on June 20 has once again confirmed him as one of the brightest stars and top welterweight boxers in the world. He is trained and managed by his father Kenny Porter. Shawn Porter won the IBF welterweight championship title on December 7, 2013 by defeating Devon Alexander. Porter then defended his title by knocking out one of the top stars in the welterweight division, Paulie Malignaggi, in the fourth round. Hailing from Cleveland, Shawn Porter is a 2006 Stow High School graduate, and after sporting one of the most decorated amateur careers in US history, he made a smooth transition to becoming a professional in 2008.
