Yenifel Vicente, classificato al mondo, è motivato ad affrontare il campione del mondo Isaac Dogboe

L'esplosiva Organizzazione Mondiale della Boxe (WBO) Latino ad interim Jr. Campione dei pesi piuma, Yenifel “Il fulmine” Vicente (33-3-2, 25 KO), della Repubblica Dominicana, spera di affrontare il campione del mondo WBO Isaac Dogboe (20-0, 14 KO) del Ghana.

 

 

 

“Sono pronto per una lotta per il titolo mondiale contro il campione del mondo WBO Dogboe. Se ci affrontiamo, sarà un candidato al combattimento dell'anno grazie al nostro stile aggressivo. A entrambi piace andare lì e aspettarci una guerra, e allo stesso tempo, non ne abbiamo paura. Quale modo migliore che regalare ai tifosi una guerra intensa? Facciamolo”, ha detto Vicente, chi è il numero in classifica 10 nella WBO.

 

 

 

“Se devo combattere in Ghana, Stati Uniti o in Inghilterra, che è dove si allena Dogboe, Sono più che disponibile a farlo. Ricordo ancora i commenti negativi che la squadra Dogboe fece riguardo ai latini che partecipavano al combattimento del Magdaleno. Questa è una motivazione aggiuntiva per combatterlo. Ho sentito che Dogboe sta cercando un avversario con cui combattere a dicembre. Sono sempre disponibile!”, esclamò Vicente, che si allena a Porto Rico, sotto la supervisione di Freddy Trinidad, e Yoel González alla Palestra di Boxe Caimito, situato nella capitale, San Juan.

 

 

 

Vicente ha otto vittorie consecutive per KO, che include il Knockout of the Year nel Premier Boxing Championship sul favorito e allora imbattuto Juan “Baby Tito” Dominguez, che è stato eliminato al 3° turno.

 

 

 

Nel suo penultimo incontro, tenutosi ad aprile in Colombia, Vicente è stato incoronato campione latino ad interim WBO dopo aver sconfitto tramite KO tecnico al 4° round il locale Walberto Ramos. Lo scorso agosto, Vicente ha difeso con successo il suo titolo eliminando il messicano Andrés García al secondo turno a Panamá.

Ukrainian Korean Puncher Arnold Khegai Sets His Sights on WBO Champ Isaac Dogboe

Based on his performance this past weekend, it would be understandable for most of the world’s 122-lb fighters to want to avoid UK-based WBO Super Bantamweight Champion Isaac Dogboe… Not Arnold Khegai.

 

 

 

Khegai, the ethnic Korean, Ukrainian-born #12-rated WBO contender, is calling out Dogboe.

 

 

 

“I feel I am the best super bantamweight in the world!” said the confident Khegai. “I want to prove my point by fighting the most avoided fighters in the division. Bring on Dogboe!"

 

 

 

Last Saturday night at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, California, the undefeated Dogboe (20-0, 14 KO) scored an eye-opening TKO 1 over challenger Hidenori Otake of Japan. Dogboe looked to be a serious force while dominating his foe and dropping him twice with relative ease.

 

 

 

Khegai (13-0-1, 9 KO) also wowed the boxing world in May of this year, with a dominant unanimous decision over well-respected contender Adam Lopez, live on Showtime.

 

 

 

“I know Isaac had an impressive victory and I commend him for that,” continued Khegai. “But I will gladly fight him. I know I can’t be beat at this weight and I’ll fight anyone to prove it.”

 

 

 

“Arnold is a blue-chip contender on his way to becoming a dominant name in the super bantamweight division,” said his promoter, Dmitriy Salita. “Not only does he have the skills and power, ma soprattutto, he has the desire to fight the best. That is a complete package.”

World ranked Yenifel Vicente comes out in defense of Latinos for derogatory comments by father / trainer of champion Isaac Dogboe

Santo Domingo, Repubblica Dominicana – Renowned Dominican boxer Yenifel ‘El Rayo’ Vicente (31-3-2, 23 KO) has been aware of the expressions made by Paul Dogboe, father and trainer of the Interim World Boxing Organization champion (WBO) 122 libbre, Isaac Dogboe (18-0, 12 KO), who is scheduled to face WBO world champion, Mexican American, Jessie Magdaleno (25-0, 18 KO), su Aprile 28 in Philadelphia .

Paul Dogboe had expressed that his son not only will defeated Magdaleno, but deported the Mexican-American born in Las Vegas after the victory by throwing it on the wall that divides both countries and in the celebration, they will present the world title to the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

“If Dogboe defeats Magdaleno, I will ask my promoter Lou DiBella to fight him,” said Yenifel Vicente.

Vicente has won six consecutive bouts, including the PBC’s Knockout of the Year, a three-round knockout over the undefeated favorite, Juan ‘Baby Tito’ Dominguez.

Vicente’s manager, Raúl Patrana, President of the ‘Spartan Boxing Club’, is willing to help with the fight.

“If Dogboe wins, we are willing to make the necessary arrangements so that Dogboe’s first defense can be against Vicente who is ranked 12th in the WBO and of course in the best coliseum available in Ghana.
