HARTFORD, Conn. (Mai 31, 2018) – Hartford Boxing Promotions (RAP) hosted a press conference yesterday at the Hartford Boxing Center to promote its first event, “Nuit de combat dans la capitale”, Juin 16 au Xfinity Center à Hartford, Connecticut.

Rivera (7-0, 6 KOs) s'est associé à son entraîneur, Tony blanc, et copropriétaire du gymnase du Hartford Boxing Center, Michael Tran, pour former Hartford Boxing Promotions et ramener la boxe de classe mondiale à Hartford.

“Il y a beaucoup de combats de pression à la maison parce que, bien sûr, je veux une victoire, mais j'ai aussi besoin d'être impressionnant pour être reconnu,” Rivera a déclaré. “Je suis tout au sujet de la boxe. Mes partenaires, Tony et Michel, prendre soin de la fin des affaires de Hartford Boxing Promotions. Je suis excité à l'idée de combattre June 16e et je m'attends à une belle participation. “Il n'y a pas de combat facile. Tout commence par la formation, ce qui facilite les combats. Je peux obtenir un KO précoce, mais je m'entraîne toujours pour tenir la distance. Mon adversaire a combattu à la télévision à quelques reprises contre des combattants avec de bons records. Je sais que je vais me battre. je serai prêt pour la guerre!”

 

 

En avril dernier dans le New Hampshire, Rivera a frappé son adversaire, Randy Campbell, si dur avec un droit puissant, que la force a cassé la cheville de Campbell quelques secondes seulement après le début du concours.

 

 

“Le combat est un mode de vie,” Rivera a expliqué. “Tous les entraînements et combats, c'est pour l'amour de la boxe, pas d'argent. Les combats ne quittent jamais un boxeur.”

 

 

Rivera a à l'origine obtenu son surnom parce que, Quand il était plus jeune, ses avant-bras étaient considérablement plus gros que ses biceps. Hartford Boxing Promotions To launch this summer

HARTFORD, Conn. (Avril 4, 2018) – Professional boxing’s newest promotional company, Hartford Boxing Promotions, has announced its official formation, as well as tentative plans calling for its inaugural event this summer in Hartford.

 

 

 

Entraîneur de boxe Tony blanc and his Hartford-based House of Boxing gym partner, Michael Tran, have teamed with their undefeated light heavyweight prospect, Richard “Popeye le marin” Rivera (6-0, 5 KOs), to form Hartford Boxing Promotions. Rivera is one of the best and most popular pro fighters in New England.

 

 

 

“We want to bring boxing back to Hartford,” Blanco addressed why they founded this new promotional company. “Hartford is a hotbed of boxing. There’s a lot of talent here and Hartford has a rich boxing history.

 

 

 

“We hope to promote our first show on June 16th, subject to Connecticut Boxing Commission approval, at Xfinity Theatre in Hartford. It’s owned by Live Nation and has been used only as a concert hall, but it has an old-school feel and will be an awesome venue for boxing. We’re excited about promoting events in this new venue for boxing.”
