Jorj “El YuYu” Acosta Speaks on Career Defining Win Against Gadwin Rosa

Los Angeles, KABI (May 10, 2021) – Thompson Boxing Promotions’ super featherweight prospect, Jorj “El Yuyu” Acosta (12-1, 1 KO), picked a career-defining win this past Friday, May 7, 2021, as he defeated Gadwin Rosa(11-2, 9 KOS), at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL. Power Puncher “El Explosivo” Miguel Madueño (22-0, 20 KOS) Makes USA Debut on Thompson’s 3.2.1. Boks

CORONA, KABI (Aprel 13, 2021) - Thompson Boxing Promotions returns on Sunday, Aprel 18, 2021, with yet another action-packed night of fights as 3.2.1. Boxing returns with three exciting bouts. Former super lightweight world title contender, Peter “Zar” Petrov (41-6-2, 22 KOS), who was scheduled to open up the show, is now off the card.

The 8-round main event featuring Ruben “Ace” Torres (14-0, 11 KOS) va boshqalar. Diego Contreras (11-3, 5 KOS), will remain intact. Madueño, who hails from Guasave, Meksika, will be making his USA debut. The knockout artist possesses power in both hands and promises to display ferociousness in the ring this Sunday.

“I want to make my USA debut a memorable day, showcasing an immense display of speed and power that God has blessed me with,” said Miguel Madueño, who is coming to U.S. soil for the first time will make his home in Santa Fe Springs, KABI. “Anyone who has seen me fight, knows I like to throw a lot of power punches. I can’t wait to get going against Aguilar this Sunday afternoon.”

The 5′ 4″ Williams (12-0, 5 KOS), fighting out of New Haven (CT), exploded with pin-point accuracy, also displaying his new-found power, dropping Gonzalez 30-8, 26 KOS), of Nicaragua, three time in the first round. The crafty southpaw finished off his more experienced opponent with a perfectly placed right-left combination, right on the button, for his third and final knockdown. Referee Raul Caiz, Jr. waved off the action, not bothering to count, as Gonzalez lay vertical on his back in dire straits.
“I prepared well for this fight and anything can happen when I work hard,” Williams remarked after his third consecutive knockout victory. “I felt his power early with a body shot but I stayed focused.
“I can deal with anybody in my division. I want to fight Lee Selby (IBF featherweight world champion), or any of the world champions, but none will fight me. I really want Gary Russell (WBC champion); Shu yerdaman, Gary. It’ll be target practice for me.”

In his first eight-round fight, the 21-year-old Younan gained invaluable experience fighting the non-stop Guy, who kept coming forward, throwing punches from all angles, at his Brooklyn opponent.

“You can’t learn if you don’t go rounds,” Younan correctly noted after the fight. “I’m only going to improve. Guy kept moving forward the entire fight. There were a couple of things that bothered me, but I went eight hard rounds and won. Thank you to Mike Guy for that.”
Former Winthrop College (SC) basketbolchi Jonnie Rays (7-2-1, 4 KOS), fighting out of Los Angeles, opened the televised broadcast with a convincing six-round unanimous decision over Rodney “King Corso” Hernandez (10-6-2, 2 KOS), Fresno of (KABI).
“I thought I did real well against a good opponent,” former power forward Rice said after the fight “He’s an athlete, getting better each fight. He’s not the same fighter he was a year ago. I’m becoming more strategic, working on my jab to get better. Basketball players need good footwork like Chris Paul and Lebron James. I’m working to bring my footwork from basketball to boxing,”
Ulg'aygan sevimli Raul Kalderon (1-0) pitched a shutout over Eric Gomez (0-1), winning a four-round unanimous decision (40-36 X 3), in a battle of pro-debuting Californians. In the walkout-fight, Los Angeles featherweight Sergio “El Nino” Quiroz yaxshilandi 4-0 with a four-round unanimous decision over Lupe Arrotyo (2-7).

Fighting under the Roc Nation banner, Younan was a highly-decorated amateur boxer, ajoyib kompilyatsiya 90-5 rekord. Given his success, Younan elected to turn pro in 2013 as an 18-year-old, rather than wait several years for an opportunity to qualify for the U.S. Olimpiya boks Team.

Yilda 2011, he was crowned the National Junior Golden Gloves champion, in addition to being USA Boxing’s No. 1-rated junior boxer in his weight class.

Nagging injuries somewhat curtailed Younan’s development, limiting him to one fight in 2015. After a nine-month layoff, he returned triumphantly on March 26, 2016 to defeat Cristian Solorzano, Sonora of, Meksika, on the Andre Ward vs. Sullivan Barrera undercard at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Kaliforniya. With a win by way of a four-round unanimous decision, Younan improved his unblemished record to 8-0.

Three of Younan’s last four fights have ended in the opening round, including his most recent on Iyun 17 on the Andre Ward-Sergey Kovalev 2 undercard at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The Brooklyn bomber made quick work of the Hungarian veteran Zoltan Sera (28-14, 20 KOS) da 1:39 belgi.
