LAS VEGAS (Março 16, 2017) O Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundação (TFMJF) successfully held their 3rd Annual Fight-4-Fitness 5K RUN, 2K WALK, KIDS FUN RUN, & Dia da Comunidade esse passado Domingo, at Sunset Park. The goal each year for Fight-4-Fitness is to support the movement toward more active and healthy lifestyles, while forming community alliances where awareness and empowerment serve as the nucleus for an improved quality of life.
“It was important that we put together an event promoting health and fitness awareness and that we got the families involved,” Nicole disse Craig, President of The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundação.
Fight-4-Fitness followed its tradition and was kicked off with the 5K race and 2K walk, shortly after, kids lined up at the start line to begin the KIDS FUN RUN. 5K participants were awarded by gender and age group categories 1st Através dos 3rd place, while all kids participating in the KIDS FUN RUN were awarded with a participation medal upon crossing the finish line. Children ages 12 and under had the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt, where they were challenged to find items hid throughout the park, o 1st-3rd winning group were presented with great prizes from contributing sponsors: Promoções Mayweather, TMT, GameWorks Las Vegas, and Pole Position.
Immediately following the races was the 3rd Annual Community Day to close the event. Community Day featured outstanding live performances from Las Vegas’ very own Prodigy Dance Group and The Monster Kids. Providing music throughout the event was Las Vegas resident DJ, D-Miles, while HOT 97.5’s Mike P emcee’d the event and kept the crowd entertained. Participants were chosen throughout the event winning prizes ranging from: gift cards, signed boxing gloves, merchandise packs, e um 50/50 cash prize!
A new addition to this year’s event was awarding local Las Vegas Track Clubs with a cash donation prize based on the number of registrants who signed up for their respective club. The first place was awarded to The BG Gators track club, second place went to Vegas Stealth, and coming in third place was the SW Stallions .

The festivities will start off with a 5K race and 2K walk, the Kids Fun Run will follow with Community Day serving as the last event of the day. The races are followed by an awards ceremony honoring the top 5K Race participants in each age category.
Fight-4-Fitness will also feature great healthy food options, vendedores, a merchandise booth, kids scavenger hunt, live performances, physical activities geared toward fitness and fun, PLUS MORE! Comedian & personalidade do rádio, Mike P, will host this year’s event while the event also features performances by DJ D. Miles, The Monster Kids, Prodigy Dance Group, and appearances from several Mayweather Promotions’ boxing stars: Badou Jack, J'Leon Amor, Alexis Santiago, Kevin Newman, Charvis Holifield, e mais!

LAS VEGAS (Fevereiro 25, 2016) O Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundação (TFMJF) tem o orgulho de apresentar o 2ndAnnual Fight 4 Fitness 5K Race, 2K Walk, Kids Fun Run, and Community Day tomando lugar Domingo, Abril 17at Sunset Park, em Las Vegas. Participants can warm-up before the race with a free yoga session courtesy of Power Yoga+Pilates+Fitness, prior to the start of the 5K Race and 2K Walk, que começará às 8 a.m. Children can take part in a fun-filled scavenger hunt before the Kids Fun Run (uma meia milha corrida para crianças 12 e sob) which kicks off at 10 a.m. The race is followed by an awards ceremony honoring all of the 5K Race participants. The event’s presenting sponsors are Mayweather Promotions, Mayweather Sports, The Money Team and SHOWTIME.
Mais do que 500 people participated in the activities last year and another large, energetic crowd is expected this year. Philanthropist and comedian Rick Smith, who used his platform to form the Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere (RAKE) Fundação, will host this year’s event.
Luta 4 Fitness will also feature live performances from 11-year-old singer-songwriter Sunny Malouf and Dance Connection, plus free Zumba sessions from Zumba Las Vegas. Além, there will be a boxing ring where anyone will be able to learn some tricks of the trade from Mayweather Promotions’ Estrelas.
“My foundation genuinely cares about the Las Vegas community and we are honored to be able to bring this great event to the city once again,” Disse Mayweather. “Being active is so important to living a healthy life. We hope to once again spread this positive message and encourage people of all ages to exercise and live healthy lives.”
TFMJF donated $25,000 last year to the Clark County School District that was divided amongst designated schools for support of athletic programs, physical education and related field trips.

LAS VEGAS (Fevereiro. 16, 2015) O Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundação (FMJF) tem o orgulho de apresentar o Luta 4 Fitness 5K Run / 2K Caminhada, Kids Fun Run e Dia da Comunidade ocorrendo Sábado, Abril 19 at Sunset Park, em Las Vegas.

 

O 5K Run / Walk e 2K Kids Fun Run (uma meia milha corrida para crianças 12 e sob) começa às 8 a.m. e é seguido por uma cerimônia de premiação em homenagem a todos os participantes. O evento do Dia da Comunidade imediatamente após a cerimônia de premiação vai incluir alimentos, música, jogos, prêmios sorteados e de saúde e fitness expositores que oferecem seus serviços para melhorar suas metas de fitness.

A missão da Luta 4 Fitness é formar alianças da comunidade onde a sensibilização e capacitação servir como o núcleo para uma melhor qualidade de vida. De crianças a adultos, todo mundo é bem-vindo para se juntar ao “luta” Inverter as tendências de saúde que estão afetando negativamente a nossa qualidade de vida. Luta 4 Fitness é um movimento em direção a uma boa saúde através das possibilidades de mudança que pode melhorar a própria vida e as vidas daqueles ao seu redor. Participar da Luta 4 Fitness evento pode ser o catalisador necessário para criar uma vigorosa, feliz, e saudável comunidade Las Vegas. Esta experiência única convida todos os membros da comunidade a corrida / caminhada de forma independente ou com amigos, família, e colegas de trabalho.

 

A programação completa de eventos está listado abaixo:

  • 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. – 5K Run / 2K Caminhada & Kids Fun Run
  • 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Cerimônia de Premiação
  • 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Dia da Comunidade

  • Same Day Registration – $60 5K / 45 $ 2K / $20 KIDS FUN RUN

* Clark County School District: Primeiro 100 os alunos podem se cadastrar gratuitamente. Todos os alunos e professores podem se inscrever para $20 até março 1st. O agregado de $3 de cada inscrição para o evento serão divididos e doados para 10 escolas CCSD designados que demonstraram necessidade de apoio nas seguintes áreas: programas esportivos, educação física e viagens de campo de ensino.
