The 21-year old Fernandez is coming off of a second-round TKO victory versus previously unbeaten Ismael Garcia to seize the Spanish 130-pound title in his hometown of Bilbao, País Vasco, Španělsko, na Duben 21. In his last stateside appearance on Feb.10 tohoto roku, Fernandez made his ShoBox debut with an impressive third-round knockout against formerly once-beaten Ernesto Garza in Miami, Okla.

 

Reyes is a 27-year-old from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexiko, now training out of Bell Gardens, Kalif. He will be making hisShoBox and New York debut—he has never fought outside of Southern California. Reyes’ last two fights resulted in unanimous decision wins as he beat Miguel Angel Mendoza on Březen 3 of this year and Cesar Villarraga in October 2016.

 

Fellow Hall of Famers Al Bernstein and Jimmy Lennon Jr. will join Farhood and Tompkins on-air during the special Hall of Fame edition of the prospect oriented series. Lennon Jr. returns to Canasota for the posthumous induction of his father, world-renowned ring announcer Jimmy Lennon Sr.

REGIS PROGRAIS VS. JOEL DIAZ JR. – SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT – 10 KOLA

Prograis has beaten two previously undefeated fighters on ShoBox – an eight round stoppage of Abel Ramos and an eight-round decision over Amos Cowart – in addition to his most recent performance, a first round KO of veteran Aaron Herrera. The former amateur standout is coming off a first round knockout of Wilfrido Buelvas on Únor. 11.

V 2009, he went to the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Pánské Boxing Championship v Miláně, Itálie, where he lost in the Round of 16 na 2008 Olympic bronze medalist Vijender Singh.

Promotér / trenér / manažer / legenda se objevil na FNU Combat Sports show před lety, ale zvuk je bohužel zrnitý a skvrnitý. (Únor 25, 2017) – Neporažená rostoucí vyhlídka Caleb Plant (15-0, 10 KO) dosáhl jednomyslného rozhodnutí (100-89, 100-89, 99-90) vítězství nad zkušeným Thomasem Awimbonem (25-7-1, 21 KO) v hlavní soutěži Premier Boxing Champions na FS1 a FOX Deportes z Legacy Arena v Birminghamu, AL.
V televizním otvíráku, Tugstsogt Nyambayar (8-0, 7 KO) z tvrdého boje vyšel vítězně 10thkolo technický knockout přes Jhon Gemino (15-8-1, 7 KO).

“Dnešní noc byla o udržení kontroly. Nechtěl jsem tam jít a něco nutit. Chtěl jsem si jen odpočinout a usadit se za svým bodnutím, použij mé mdloby, a prostě pořizujte záběry, které tu byly pro mě.
“Doufám, že mi taková výhra otevře dveře. The 168 lbs division mám v zadní kapse. Beru to jeden zápas za druhým a dosáhneme svého cíle.
“Ujít vzdálenost, abych vyhrál nad zkušeným bojovníkem, jako je Awimbono, hodně ukazuje můj potenciál. Byl tam s několika skvělými bojovníky, ale bojoval jsem a vyhrál jsem.
“S návalem jsem ho pustil brzy, ale je to těžké proti chlapovi, který se nechtěl angažovat. Musíte si vzít to, co vám dají. Jinak riskuji, že půjdu příliš agresivně a zaskočím, na kterou nedám dopustit. Musím zůstat trpělivý a najít si svá místa.
“Pokaždé doufám ve větší souboje. Nechceme žádné jemné doteky. Snažil jsem se bojovat s některými nejlepšími vyhlídkami, kluci s nějakými menšími tituly, ale nebudou bojovat. Nemůžu dopustit, aby mě to trápilo, protože vím, že jsem pro tyhle lidi velkým rizikem. Může to být na začátku mé kariéry, ale mohu provést úpravy a udělat to všechno.”
TUGSTSOGT NYAMBAYA
“Získat takovou výhru proti drsnému bojovníkovi v krátké době znamenalo hodně.
“Knokaut jsme hledali mnohem dříve, ale Gemino byl dnes večer opravdu těžký. Ukázal hodně srdce, ale naštěstí jsme vyhráli.
“I když to byla těžší váha, než na kterou jsem zvyklý bojovat, Neměl jsem problém zvládnout jeho velikost.
“Bojovat na takové kartě na FS1 a FOX Deportes pro mě znamená svět. Byla to skvělá příležitost předvést své dovednosti.
“Chci kohokoli, koho přede mě postaví příště. postavím se komukoli.”
JOHN GEMINO
“nesnažím se vymlouvat, ale tento boj jsme vzali ve velmi krátké době. Jsem velmi frustrovaný svým dnešním výkonem.
“Udělám vše, co je v mých silách, abych dostal další zápas v USA. a slibuji, že do toho vždy dám všechno. Doufám, že se fanouškům náš dnešní zápas líbil.
“Jsem ochoten bojovat s kýmkoli, Jen bych si přál, abych měl více času na přípravu na Nyambayar.”

BIRMINGHAM, AL. (Únor 25, 2017) – Neporažený mistr světa v těžké váze Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (38-0, 37 KO) vyřadil Geralda “The Black Rooster” Washington (18-1-1, 12 KO) v pátém kole hlavní události Premier Boxing Champions na FOX a FOX Deportes v Legacy Areně v Birminghamu, AL.
Před davem 12,346 Fanoušci, Wilder byl schopen zajistit davu svého domácího státu další zářivé vítězství. Ačkoli Washington ukradl některé z prvních kol, Wilderova trpělivost se vyplatila, protože dokázal najít své tempo a dokončit Washington v pátém framu.
V bouřlivém televizním otvíráku, Dominic Breazeale (18-1, 16 KO) zastavil dříve neporažený Izuagbe Ugonoh (17-1, 14 KO). Ugonoh ovládl boj brzy přistáním těžkých úderů do Breazealeova těla i hlavy, ale Breazeale se dokázal uklidnit a zaútočil zpět, aby působivým způsobem vyřadil Ugonohu.

“Věděl jsem, že přijde nadšený do boje o titul mistra světa. Jen jsem zůstal v klidu a našel svůj rytmus. Opravdu jsem věděl, že se unaví, a když to udělal, využil jsem toho.
“Všechno bylo o načasování. Jsem velmi chytrý, pokud jde o používání různých taktik v ringu.
“Bojovat zde v Alabamě je požehnáním. Lidé tady mě podporují a já je za to miluji. Vždy budu podporovat a být tu pro svou rodinu z Alabamy. Vidět dnes večer reakci davu pro mě znamenalo hodně.
“Jak jsem říkal, Snažím se sjednotit rozdělení. Myslím, že je důležité mít jednoho bojovníka a jednoho šampiona, a to je Deontay Wilder. Doufejme, že Joseph Parker je na mě připraven, protože já jsem rozhodně připraven na něj.”
GERALD WASHINGTON
“Jen jsem byl trochu netrpělivý. Snažil jsem se do toho jít. Byl to vyrovnaný boxerský zápas. Mohl jsem to tak nechat a nechat to nudné. Nevím, proč jsem tam usnul. Asi jsem trochu ztratil pozornost.
“Chytil jsem ho jednou ranou, když přicházel. Ale místo toho, abych pokračoval v té hře a dál ho tlačil zpět a držel ho pod kontrolou tím, že ho udržím ve středu ringu, Snažil jsem se na něj dostat. Snažil jsem se hrát malou roli proti úderu a chytit ho, jak přichází. Prostě mě chytil.
“Je to prostě zážitek. Musíte dodržovat herní plán a soustředit se, zůstaň trpělivý. Na začátku možná nedostanete všechny záběry, které byste chtěli, ale musíte hrát hru celou cestu ven a pak se začnou dít věci.”
JARRETT HURD
“Chtěli jsme si s ním dát čas, protože Harrison umí boxovat a hýbat se. Ale pokaždé, když bojuje, opotřebovává se ke konci.
“Během šestého kola, zachytil mě dobrou ranou do levého oka. Ale podařilo se mi to probojovat a vyhrát.
“Být šampionem je skvělý pocit. Nikdy předtím jsem neměl tak skvělý pocit. Je to čistá síla Accokeek. Teď si konečně můžu vytáhnout kalhoty. Kalhoty mi padaly dolů, ale nakonec jsem dostal pás.”
DOMINIC Breazeale
“Chvíli mi trvalo, než jsem našel tempo, ale nakonec jsem našel svůj rytmus. Izu přišel ve skvělé kondici a s hořícími zbraněmi. Přišel na mě s něčím, co jsem nečekal. Byl to ten lehčí chlap, opravdu jsem nečekal, jakou sílu měl.
“Dnes večer se mi podařilo spojit několik velkých záběrů, hlavně pravou rukou. Vidíš, co se stane, když ho položím a nikdy se pořádně nevzpamatuje.

Los Angeles – FOX Sports announces that four-time world heavyweight champion Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield and current featherweight world champion Abner Mares join the FOX Sports broadcast team as analysts for PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS: WILDER VS. WASHINGTON live on FOX and FOX Deportes Sobota, Únor. 25 (8:00 PM ET), z Legacy Areny na BJCC v Birminghamu, Ala. Holyfield reigned as both the undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight world champion in a career that spanned more than three decades from 1984 na 2011. He successfully defended the undisputed heavyweight championship three times.
Holyfield and Wilder share a connection. Both were born in Alabama – Holyfield in Atmore and Wilder in Tuscaloosa, where he still resides. Holyfield has followed Wilder’s career since the 31-year-old champion was a member of the U.S. boxing Olympic team and won a bronze medal at the 2008 Peking Games.

The match was marred by controversy after Holyfield was disqualified in the second round for hitting Barry on the break. Because of the disqualification, Holyfield won the bronze medal for the U.S. team in the 1984 LA Games.
The fourth installment of PBC on FOX features the two heavyweight bouts, as well as a junior middleweight title fight. Once-beaten Tony Harrison (24-1, 20 KO) and undefeated Jarrett Hurd (19-0, 13 KO) battle in a 12-round affair for a vacant 154-pound world championship.
Working with NextVR, the two-hour PBC on FOX show is also broadcast live in virtual reality. For the second year in a row, multiple cameras set up around the ring capture the action in immersive, high-definition virtual reality, providing fans with the best seat in the house.
