Smoldarev decisions Garner OFFICIAL RESULTS

 

INGUSHETIA, Russia (July 17, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Denis Smoldarev (13-2-0, M, I: 8-2-0) posuit se in alium offa title, taking a decision from former M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Kenny “Precare,” Garner (16-10-0, M, I: 9-8-0), last night in the M-I provocare 69: Proelio in Montes 5 principale eventus, at Targin in Ingushetia, Russia.

Russian flyweight Khamzat Dalgiev (6-1-0, M, I: 3-1-0) turned in an impressive performance, stopping Spaniard Ronny Gomez (3-5-0, M, I: 0-1-0) midway through the opening round on punches.
Croatian featherweight Antun “Interfectorem” Racic (18-7-1, M, I: 3-4-1) unbeaten Russian prospect Movsar Evloev (5-0-1, M, I: 5-0-1), who took the fight on late notice, fought to a three-round draw..
Rounding out the main card are two other featherweight bouts: Brazilian Rafael Dias(11-3-0, M, I: 0-0-0) vs. Kazakh Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M, I: 2-1-0)

Russian light heavyweight Amirkhan Guliev (3-1-0, M, I: 3-0-0) used a heel hook for a win by opening-round submission versus Spaniard Darwin Rodriguez (0-2-0, M, I: 0-1-0); Russian welterweight Magomed Maasaev (1-0-0, M, I: 1-0-0) locked in a triangle choke on Russian Ingiskhan Ozdoev (1-3-0, M, I: 1-3-0) for a submission victory in the second round; Adam Gagiev (1-1-0, M, I: 1-1-0) won a three-round decision over Russian pro-debuting Zaur Akhmedov (0-1-0, M, I: 0-1-0).
In the M-1 Medieval Knight fight between Russian heavyweights, Rustam Kukurkhoev won by second-round technical knockout over Vitaly Kravchenko.

Known as theBrock Lesnar of Estonia,” Smoldarev (11-2-0, M, I: 7-2-0) is a combat sambo specialist and two-time M-1 Challenge heavyweight title challenger. In his last fight this past February at M-I provocare 64, Smoldarev lost by third-round submission via a choke to Alexander Volkov for the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight championship.

Garner (16-9-0, M, I: 9-7-0), pugnat ex portu Sancti. Lucie, Florida, was the M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion four years ago. In 2011 at M-I provocare 27, Garner submitted Maxin Grishin in the fifth round by strikes to become Interim M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion. After successfully defending his Interim title versus Magomed Malikov (KO3 – ferit,) at M-I provocare 32, the stage was set for Garner to challenge “regular” M-1 Challenge heavyweight title-holder Guran Gugenishvilli in a rematch to avenge an earlier loss.
Garner graduated from Interim to “regular” M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion June 21, 2012 with a victory over Gugenishvilli via doctor’s stoppage in the third round. Six months later in “rubber pares,”, Garner stopped Gugenishvilli on punches in the fourth round to retain his title belt.
At M-I provocare 44 in November 2013, Garner lost his crown to Polish challengerDamian Grabowski a tertia-rotundum obsequium (suffocat). In his proxima pugna at M-I provocare 59, Garner was punched out in the opening round by Russian great Sergius Kharitonov one year ago in Kazakhstan.
One other fight has been announced for M-I provocare 69 as Croatian featherweight Antun “Interfectorem” Racic (18-7-0, M, I: 3-4-0) sumit invicti Russian Prospectus Movsar Evloev (5-0-0, M, I: 5-0-0).
Racic, who is coming off a split decision loss to Vitali Branchuk last February at M-I provocare 64, is a submission master, while Evloev is a strong striker who stopped Alexander Krupenkin in the opening round at M-I provocare 66 in his most recent action.

MOSCOW (February 29, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced its M-I provocare 64bonus performances, highlighted by co-Fight of the Night awards, along with KO of the Night and Submission of the Night.
Veteran Russian fighter Alexander Shlemenklo (52-9-0), a three-time Bellator champion, won a close unanimous decision over former 2-division M-1 Challenge division Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (28-3-0), of Russia, in their M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Tournament co-Fight of the Night match (pictured below).
Sharing top honors for Fight of the Night (see below) erat Pavel Vitruk (13-2-0) vs. Ukrainian Vitaly Branchuk (21-5-0), in which Vitruk won a decision in their M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Semifinals Eliminator match.
Russian heavyweight Kurban Ibragimov (4-1-0) won KO of the Night honors with his opening-round stoppage of Ukrainian Dmitriy Mikutsa (5-3-0).
Submission Noctis (see below) was awarded to Russian strongman Alexander “Draco” Volkov (25-6-0), who captured the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight championship, for his winning third-round triangle choke Denis Smoldarev (11-2-0), Igaunijas.

Alexander Volkov captured the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight title
MOSCOW (February 20, 2016) – Veteran Russian fighters Alexander Shlemenkloatque Alexander Volkov were the big winners in M-I provocare 64 action last night at Olympic Stadium in Moscow.
Shlemenko (52-9-0), a three-time Bellator champion, returned to M-1 Global in grand style, winning a close but unanimous decision over former 2-division M-1 Challenge division Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (28-3-0), of Russia, in their M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Tournament match. Shlemenko advances to the championship final later this year to face the winner of the other semifinals fight (Aprilis 8) at M-I provocare 65between reigning M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev (13-3-0) and Brazilian Maiquel “Big Rig” Falcao (35-8-0). Emeev was the 2015 M-1 Global Fighter of the Year.
M-1 Global’s newly signed Alexander “Draco” Volkov (25-6-0), of Russia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge heavyweight championship, defeating Estonian strongmanDenis Smoldarev (11-2-0) by way of a third-round submission via a triangle choke.
In the M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Semifinals Eliminator matches, Pavel Vitruk (13-2-0) et Ukrainian Vitaly Branchuk (21-5-0) both won unanimous decisions to advance to the championship final to determine the new M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion. Vitruk got past his previously undefeated Kazakh opponent Sergey Morozov (6-1-1), while Branchuk got the better of Antun “Interfectorem” Racic (18-7-0), Croatiae.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (February 15, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-I provocare 65 has been rescheduled from March 4 ad Aprilis 8 at Ice Palace Sports Center in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The Ice Hockey World Championships will be held this May in St. Petersburg and Moscow. Many sports venues in St. Petersburg are closed in March due to renovations, resulting in the switched date for M-I provocare 65.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (January 28, 2016) – M-1 Global’s first event of 2016 is shaping up as a potential blockbuster with the announcement of the second M-1 Challenge bantamweight elimination fight for M-I provocare 64 on February 19 at Olympic Stadium in Moscow.
Antun “Interfectorem” Racic, Croatiae, will face Ukrainian Vitaly Branchuk for right to fight for the vacant M-1 Challenge bantamweight championship. The survivor will advance to the championship round against the winner of the previously announced M-1 Challenge bantamweight semifinal eliminator, also part of the M-I provocare 64card, inter Pavel Vitruk (12-2-0, M, I: 6-2-0) and undefeated Kazakhstan-native Sergey Morozov (6-0-0, M, I: 2-0-0). Vitruk is a Ukrainian-born fighter who lives and trains out of St. Petersburg, Russia.
The main event pits three-time Bellator champion Alexander “Tempestatem” Shlemenko(51-9-0, M, I: 2-0-0) and former M-1 Challenge middleweight and light heavyweight titlist Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (27-3-0, M, I: 10-1-0) in the semifinals of the M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Tournament.

Branchuk (20-5-0, M, I: 0-1-0) will be fighting in his second M-1 Global event, the first two years ago at M-1 Provocatio 45, in which he lost a decision to Yunus Evloev. The 24-year-old Branchuk is riding a seven-fight win streak. Known as a strong striker, he has knocked out 10 aduersariis.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (January 26, 2016) – Reigning M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev will take on Brazilian challenger Maiquel “Big Rig” Falcao in the second M-1 Grand Prix middleweight eliminator, March 4 at M-I provocare 65, in Moscoviae.
The first M-1 Grand Prix match of 2016 is set in the middleweight division as three-time Bellator champion Alexander “Tempestatem” Shlemenko (51-9-0, M, I: 2-0-0) takes on former M-1 Challenge middleweight and light heavyweight titlist Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (27-3-0, M, I: 10-1-0)at M-I provocare 64, February 19 at Olympic Stadium in Moscow.
