Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship to Utilize Real Time Scoring at BKFC 11 in Wichita, Kansas this Saturday, Март 14

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) will utilize the revolutionary new Real Time Scoring, as offered by the Kansas Athletic Commission, at BKFC 11: Hernandez vs. Уилсон, ин Шанбе, Март 14, at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Канзас. In doing so, BKFC will become the second promotion ever in Kansas, and the first bare knuckle promotion to employ the system which immediately allows fighters, their corners, and fans to know the judges’ round by round scores.

“BKFC 11” will be broadcast across the United States and Canada, exclusively on pay-per-view (9 pm ET/6 pm PT) through MultiVision Media, Inc., on all major television distribution outlets for $29.99. It will also be available to BKFC’s international broadcast partners worldwide and via stream to all in-home and out-of-home connected devices through FITE.

“I was very intrigued when I learned that the Kansas Athletic Commission was going to start offering on March 1 all fight promoters with events in their state the option of using Real Time Scoring, but I wanted to see it in use first before I made a decision about BKFC 11,” said BKFC founder and president David Feldman. “After seeing it executed flawlessly by the Kansas Commission at last Friday’s Invicta MMA event, coupled with the overwhelmingly positive response following that show from fighters and fight fans, I knew that this was absolutely the right way to go for BKFC.”

Real Time Scoring, also known as open scoring, is currently offered exclusively in North America by the Kansas Athletic Commission. Variations of this system have been used by the World Boxing Council and in Glory Kickboxing.

“After partnering with Shannon Knapp and Invicta Fighting Championships to utilize Real Time Scoring last Friday, we received nothing but positive feedback from the fighters and their camps,” said Kansas Athletic Commission Executive Director Adam Roorbach. “While absolutely not mandatory, Real Time Scoring is available to all fight promoters and promotions in the State of Kansas. We are proud to be hosting BKFC 11, and look forward to having them utilize this system.”

Wichita native and former Bellator veteran Dave “Caveman” Rickels competes in a 175-pound bout in the co-main event, while hard-hitting bare knuckle heavyweight contender Sam Shewmaker returns to action to take on former Kronk Gym amateur standout Ҷош Бернс in a special attraction.


The local flavor continues with a pair of all-Wichita showdowns as Bellator veteran, pro kickboxer and pro boxer Cody Carrillo faces 10-fight pro boxing veteranИрмиё Page in a 155-pound fight, while Bellator and Strikeforce veteran Джо Гург matches up against Bellator veteran L.J. The unbeaten 24-year-old from Wichita, Kansas capped off an impressive amateur career at the 2016 Olympic Games when he defeated fighters from Italy, Russia and Ecuador to clinch his light flyweight bronze medal. Hernandez is the first U.S. men’s boxing medalist since 2008. Since turning pro in March 2017, Hernandez has compiled a 7-0 рекорд, including four wins by knockout. He is the second Olympian to sign with BKFC, and the first Olympic medalist.


“It’s been a goal of mine to fight at INTRUST Bank Arena ever since it was first built,” Саид Эрнандес. “I have yet to fight in Wichita. A highly touted wrestling prospect out of Detroit, Мичиган, Jarod Trice will make his second appearance inside of the Bellator MMA cage and is looking to build off of an impressive professional debut. The 27-year-old standout was awarded three All-American honors, as well as a National Title at 120 kg and two Greco Roman National Titles, prior to joining the Bellator MMA fray in 2016. Now Trice is looking to make a name for himself in the world of MMA, after delivering an exceptional performance in his first career win over Tommie Britton at Bellator 167 just over one month ago. Kansas’ Kevin Woltkamp (1-2) will challenge Trice, and will look to play the role hometown spoiler when he competes in front of thousands of friends and family.

After earning state championships in nearly every national age-group in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling during high school, Fortune went on to compete at Grand Canyon University’s highly acclaimed program, where he was named the 2013 Division II Wrestler of the Year, taking home a NCAA Division II championship in the process. The Portland, Ore. native began his career under the direction of Bellator MMA last year, earning a sensational first round knockout victory in his debut at Bellator 163. The 26-year-old now hopes to preserve his unblemished record when he enters the cage for the second time against Will Johnson, who will be making his professional debut.

Hailing from Sao Paulo, Бразилия, Ellen enters the bout looking to build off the momentum she came into Bellator with after signing with the Viacom-owned promotion last year. The flyweight prospect began her professional career with back-to-back victories in 2015, including one victory coming after a brilliant knockout win in the opening round of action. McKee enters the Bellator MMA cage undefeated and continues to prove that he is one of the top young prospects in the sport of MMA. With each of McKee’s six professional fights coming under the direction of Bellator MMA, the 21-year-old Team BodyShop product has made a name for himself from day one, showing both exceptional power and elusiveness every time he steps into the cage. After finishing each of his first five opponents with opening round victories, “Mercenary” was finally taken the distance in his most recent bout with Рэй Вуд, earning a hard-fought unanimous decision win atBellator 166. A native of Long Beach, Calif., McKee will return to the Midwest in search of his first win of 2017.

Taking his ninth professional fight, 27-year-old Brandon Phillips will participate in the main card action for the first time in his Bellator MMA career. Hailing from Arlington, Техас, the 38-year-old Yauger hopes to use her experience advantage when she makes her promotional debut against the younger Middleton.

Making his fourth appearance under the Bellator MMA banner, Reyno enters the bout in search of his third win under the promotion and second in a row. A native of Montevideo, Уругвай, Reyno has delivered finishes in each of his six career victories, including five straight first round stoppages to begin his professional career. “Tonga” will now direct his attention to Kansas Star Arena and Jan. 27, where he will look to build off of an impressive knockout win over L.J.
