NEW YORK (March 14, 2018) – Facebook FIGHTNIGHT LIVE has something for everyone this Saturday as the fan-friendly and completely FREE platform celebrates St. Patrick’s Day in Boston with the Dropkick Murphys and Murphys Boxing. Music fans and fight fans from across the nation and around the globe can catch the Dropkick Murphys in concert and an outstanding card with international appeal on any device wherever Facebook is available from 7-10 p.m., brought to fans by the promotion born out of the Dropkick Murphys popular Celtic punk band.

Following the three-hour FREE show – featuring Dropkick Murphys music, fighter interviews and four free bouts live from the House of Blues adjacent to Fenway Park – fans can tune into the iN Demand, Vubiquity, DISH and the FITE.TV app for four more pay-per-view fights and a live acoustic set from the band. Canadian fight fans can tune in via Super Channel.

“Times are changing for boxing just like streaming changed music. We are proud of the fights we are putting on and the big audiences we are drawing, and it’s great for our fighters to get the exposure,” said Ken Casey, Dropkick Murphys Frontman and President and Founder, Murphys Boxing.

Recently surpassing 1.2 million views for the series, Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day Clash continues FIGHTNIGHT LIVE’s meteoric 10-month rise, which has already included five live shows in the first two months of the New Year.

“We’re excited to continue our two-fight promotion with Murphys Boxing and can’t wait to hoist a pint with them during our St. Patrick’s Day show in Boston,” said Mark Fratto, Principal of Linacre Media. “Facebook is a terrific medium to deliver these great early fights and interviews for free, and set the St. Paddy’s tone with some great music from Ken Casey and the fellas. As part of the Facebook bouts, New England champion Greg “The Villain” Vendetti (17-2-1, 10 KOs) of Stoneham, Mass., takes on Engleberto Valenzuela(11-12, 3 KOs) of Mexico; the Fighting Pride of the Yezidi People Yurik “Don’t Be Sorry, Be Careful” Mamedov (6-1, 3 KOs) of Brooklyn, N.Y. meets Daniel Sostre(13-16-1, 5 KOs), or Puerto Rico; featherweight Amanda Pavone (2-0, 1 KO) or Burlington, Mass. Faces Sarah Click (pro debut) of Framingham, Mass.; and lightweight Tomas Romain (6-1) of Brooklyn, N.Y. takes on Israel Rojas (13-20, 5 KOs) of Mexico.

Over the first nine-plus months of programming, the numbers on the 12-show FIGHTNIGHT LIVE series have showed promise and potential for the new platform with an average of 82,153 fight fans tuning in per event and more than 1.2 million fans served.

The Sept. 9 “Real Deal Promotions: Empire State” from Resorts World Casino (225,000), the August CES “Super Saturday” from Foxwoods (203,000) and the Sept. CES “Twin River Twinbill” from Lincoln, R.I. (157,000) all topped 150,000 views, and collectively the 15-show series has seen a total of almost 28,000 total hours of Facebook video consumed by 1,232,299 users across all devices.

In addition to the raw viewership numbers, the fully-interactive, fan-friendly productions have seen more than 155,000 collective live post engagements(more than 10,000 per show), including almost 103,000 “likes” or “loves,” more than 27,000 comments and more than 7,000 shares.

FIGHTNIGHT LIVE broadcasts are viewed by 76 percent men, 24 percent women. The top demographic is comprised of males ages 25-34, which encompasses approximately 30.0 percent of the audience, on average.

The Sept. 9 “Real Deal Promotions: Empire State” set a new bar with 224,658 views and the Sept. 15-16 DiBella-CES doubleheader carried the series to three-quarters-of-a-million views in just over four months. The Feb. 10 Hard-Hitting Promotions “Philly Fight Night” show stands out individually with 3,421 live hours of content viewed, while the Sept. 15 DiBella card saw more than 40,000 viewer interactions including almost 39,000 “likes” or “loves.”

The FIGHTNIGHT LIVE page on Facebook has more than 80,000 fans and more than 82,000 followers. And Facebook itself has taken notice – the world’s No. 1 social network recently profiled FIGHTNIGHT LIVE on its “Success Stories” media blog, noting the series’ use of industry best practices for production and interactivity:

Turchi vs. Banks, scheduled for eight rounds, is part of an eight-bout action packed card presented by Boxing Legend Evander Holyfield’s The Real Deal Boxing.

“I consider myself an intelligent fighter with power. I can box to a decision but if the opportunity comes along during the fight for a knockout I’ll take advantage of it,” continued Turchi known in Italy for his show-stopping knockouts.
“I don’t know much about Demetrius Banks but I’m very well prepared for anything in the ring.
“Since I was a kid, being Italian, my favorite fighter was Rocky Marciano. It’s an honor to be fighting so close to his hometown of Brockton, Massachusetts on Friday night.”

Coffie scores 1st round stoppage in pro debut
Bethlehem, PA (November 25,  2017) – Mykal Fox remained perfect by winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Manuel Reyes in the main event of a King’s Promotions promoted card this this past Tuesday night at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center. 
The show was dedicated to former King’s Promotions Director of Operations Desmond Hammond, who passed away last week.
Fox of Forestville, Maryland won by scores of 80-72, 79-73 and 78-74 to raise his mark to 15-0.  Reyes of Los Angeles is now 11-4-1.
In the exciting co-feature, Victor Vazquez took an eight-round majority decision over previously undefeated Ricardo Garcia in lightweight bout.
Vazquez scored a knockdown in round three, and two more in round eight to take the victory by scores of 77-72 twice and 75-75.
Vazquez of Yonkers, NY is 9-3.  Garcia of Santo Domingo, DR is 14-1.
Joseph Adorno remained perfect by stopping Corben Page at 2:58 of round two of their scheduled four-round super featherweight bout.
Adorno of Allentown, PA scored two knockdowns,  and is now 5-0 with five knockouts.  Page of Springfield, OR is 5-16-1.
Juan Sanchez of Bethlehem, PA won a four-round unanimous decision over James Early in a featherweight contest.
Sanchez won by scores of 39-37 on all cards and is now 4-0.  Early of Seat Pleasant, MD is 2-2.
Harold Lopez won a four-round unanimous decision over Jerrod Miner in a battle of a undefeated light flyweights..
Lopez of Allentown, PA won by scores of 40-36 and 39-37 twice and is now 2-0-1.  Miner of Philadelphia is 1-1.
Michael Coffie made a successful pro debut with a first round stoppage over Ralph Alexander in a heavyweight bout.
The bout lasted just sixty-one seconds for Coffie of Brooklyn, NY.  Alexander of Lanham, MD is 0-2.
Hector Bayanilla dropped Jose Elizondo in round two en-route to a four round unanimous decision in a super bantamweight bout.
Bayanilla of Allentown, PA won by scores of 40-35 and 39-36 twice and is now 2-0-1.  Elizondo of San Antonio, TX is 2-4-1.
Martino Jules won a four-round majority decision over Weusi Johnson in a featherweight contest.
Jules of Allentown, PA won by tallies of 40-36, 39-37 and 38-38 and he is now 1-1.  Johnson of Wilmington, DE is 2-7.

Fort Washington, MD (June 1, 2017)– Undefeated junior welterweight prospect Mykal Fox has big plans for the rest of 2017, but standing in his way will be veteran Daniel Sostre in an eight-round bout that will headline a card this Saturday night at The Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Maryland.

The 21 year-old Fox has a record of 13-0 with four knockouts.
“Training has been pretty good, and everything is coming together,  I am very excited for this fight,” said Fox.
“I am extra excited as he has a lot of experience and has been in with some good fighters.  He is pretty good.  I watched some his fights including his fight with Phil Lo Greco.”
After this fight, Fox can see himself starting to move up the rankings as he is looking for some regional title bouts.
“I have seen some of the guys who turned pro around the same time that I did, and they are fighting for those titles.  As the year winds down, I feel like I will be ready to claim those title belts.”
Being that this will be 5th headline appearance for Fox, he sees his popularity continue to grow with each fight.
“I am fighting better competition and more people are coming out to see these fights.  I was fighting on cards with future world champions as headliners and now it is my to be the main event.  I know it will get even bigger when I fight for those titles, which I feel could be next.”

The three-year professional has continuously stepped up the competition, and will be making his seventh start at the Rosecroft Raceway, and is coming off a eight-round majority decision over Tre’Sean Wiggins on February 11th.
Sostre of Highland, New York via Vega Baja, Puerto Rico has a record of 13-12-1 with five knockouts.
The 33 year-old is a 12 year veteran, and is known for fighting top competition.
Fox will mark the 11th undefeated opponent that Sostre has faced.
Sostre has wins over Kenny Galarza (16-3), Chris Gilbert (11-0), Jay Krupp (14-3), Tommy Rainone (12-2), Mike Ruiz (8-2) & Broderick Antoine (2-0).
Sostre will be looking to get back in the win column after dropping his last three fights to fighter’s who have a combined record of 45-2-1.  In his last bout, Sostre dropped an eight-round majority decision to Derrick Cuevas (12-0-1) on December 10th in Catono, Puerto Rico.
