Dan Pasciolla looking to defend and win New Jersey State Heavyweight title this Friday against Quian Davis

Atlantic City, NJ (Május 31, 2018) – Heavyweight Dan Pasciolla (9-3-3) won the New Jersey State Heavyweight title when he won a six-round unanimous decision over former world champion Imamu Mayfield on March 19, 2016.

 

 

 

A 32 year-old native of Brick, New Jersey signed on to fight Quian Davis (4-0-2, 2 KO) this Friday night at The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, and was informed that the fight would be for the vacant title.

 

 

 

That was news to Pasciolla and his manager Rich Masini, as the pair believed that Pasciolla was still the champion.

 

 

 

“I have been waiting for a fight. I was in camp in Poland, and I am in better shape. My goal is to get in the ring, and show a different Dan Pasciolla,” said the 5-year veteran.

 

 

 

When asked about Davis, Pasciolla is ready for his undefeated opponent.

 

 

 

“I know he did not have much of an amateur career. He is just another guy that I will be getting into the ring with. Experience plays a factor, and I bring much more than thaton Friday. I have been working hard, and things are coming together,”

 

 

 

Pasciolla is not letting the fact the he is already fighting for a belt that he already owns get in the way of his preparation.

 

 

 

“I am not sure why there is a new title since I already am the champion, but I will walk out with 2 belts on Friday. It is very important because it represents my state, so it is a big deal to me. I do not do a lot of talking. I will do my talking between the ropes.”

 

 

 

“This is a funny and crazy business at times,” said Pasciolla’s manager , Rich Masini. “Dan beat Mayfield for the state title, It is even recognized on Boxrec.com, but somehow, I guess that doesn’t count anymore, but Dan will enter the ring with that belt, and apparently now we are fighting for the same title but a different belt. LaManna dominated the action with power shots that he landed behind a long jab throughout the contest. Velasquez was game as he took a lot of shots and landed an occasional power shot. LaManna sealed the deal in the final round when he landed a flush 4-punch combination that put Velasquez on the canvas.
LaManna Millville, NJ won on all cards by scores of 80-71 felemelni a jelölést 23-2. Velasquez falls to 24-29-2.
“Velasquez was tough and durable,”said LaManna following the fight.
“I needed this fight, and now I would like to fight Kermit Cintron if he should win his fight with Tyrone Brunson on June 24th. Maybe he will stop ducking me, I want to fight a big name like Cintron, Zab Judah or a rematch with Dusty Harrison. We at Rising Promotions will be back here at the Claridge on August for our 9th event.”
Anthony Young won a eight-round unanimous decision over George Sosa in an entertaining welterweight contest.
Young was extremely active as he landed hard combinations with Sosa landing an occasional hard shot to the head.

Since suffering his only professional blemish, a 28 year-old Pham of Atlantic City, New Jersey has stopped his two previous opponents.
Pham believes he will only get better as his trainer, Chuck Eisenbeis will be back in his corner after being absent from Pham’s last couple of bouts.
“It is good to have him back. He taught me everything that I know,” said Pham. “We have been working on footwork, and my jab. I have seen the improvement everyday. Chuck has been working with some UFC fighters and it is great to have him back.”
In Perez he is taking on a durable fighter, who has faced many top prospects, 13 undefeated fighters and a world champion in Jermall Charlo.
“He is a Puerto Rican. I know he is tough as I am Puerto Rican as well. Neki van 27 harcol, so that is three-times more than I have. He is experienced and he goes rounds for the most part. I have seen some film where can be slick, so I have to be cautious of that. I have been working hard, so I am confident that I will get the job done.”
With a win, Pham can see himself getting into contention for some regional title opportunities.
“A win will set me up for a step up fight. I will discuss that with my manager after this fight. I am happy where I am at as this will be the 3rd fight this year for me and this is by far the busiest stretch of my career. I am looking to impress the fans and keep doubling the expectations with each fight. This will be a top-shelf performance. I want to stop this guy. I don’t go in looking for it, but if I see that I have him staggered or hurt, I will try to get him out of there.”

Young of Atlantic City has a record of 16-2 with six knockouts has won five in a row was given the task of fighting Sosa on two weeks notice. Young was training for an all-New Jersey showdown with Juan “A Beast” Rodriguez, Jr. but Rodriguez had to pull out due to an injury.
“My camp has been great. Sosa is a late-replacement, but that really does not matter, because I was preparing for whoever,”mondta a 29 year-old Young.
Young knows that Sosa is a big puncher, but feels he is a different fighter outside of his home-country of the Dominican Republic.

“Chino has fixed a lot of my bad habits. He has me working on the jab, pivoting, and working the body. Since moving to Chino, I have improved with every fight.”
This will be the 10th appearance on the Boardwalk for Young, and he will look to his mark to 9-1 Atlantic City (Young is 2-0 at The Claridge).

Velasquez of Managua, Nicaragua has a record of 24-28-2 a 15 kiütéssel.

Atlantic City, NJ (Március 10, 2017)–Váltósúlyú Anthony “Lé” Fiatal veszi át Samuel Amoako szombaton este A Claridge Hotel Atlantic Cityben.

Barrett a Philly kemény fickójával, Brian Donahue-val veszi fel a 4 fordulós ütemtervet.

Barrett Kis Egg Harbor, New Jersey profi bokszrekordja: 4-0-2 a 4 kiütéssel, és visszatérni fog a ringbe, miután kilépett a négyzet köréből 11 hónap. Utolsó bokszmérkőzésén, megállította Alando Pugh-t 2 fordulóban Atlantic Cityben.
Barrett, aki MMA veteránja 19 harcok utoljára a ketrecben folytak Szeptember 23.

Atlantic City, NJ (Szeptember 14, 2016)– Váltósúlyú, Anthony “Lé” Fiatal will look for his third consecutive victory when he takes on Malik Jackson in a battle of New Jersey based fighters as one of the undercard bouts this Thursday nigha 2300 Küzdőtér -ban Philadelphia.
Young of Atlantic City won his first ten bouts and after his current two-fight streak will enter the ring with a record of 13-2 öt kiütéssel.
“I had a really good camp and great sparring with (könnyű) Anthony Burgin & Victor Padilla.
In Jackson, he is facing a fighter with a very deceiving 3-9-4 rekord. He has had several questionable decisions not go in his favor, so Young expects a fight that will not be a gimme.
“I do not know much about him other than t\him being a scrappy fighter who is coming to win. I know he is from New Jersey, but it doesn’t matter where he is from. He could be from Switzerland for all I care.”
This will be the third bout that Young will have championship trainer Raul “Chino” Rivas, and Young already has seen the improvements with his new coach.
“I will display what I have been working on with Chino. I want to thank my team for this opportunity on this card.”
Said Rivas, “This will be our third fight together. He is getting better with every fight. I am excited to see him fight csütörtök. He has worked hard and is getting sharper. He is able to spar eight and ten rounds now.
“I know Jackson a little bit as I am originally from North Jersey. My son beat him in the amateurs He is tall and his record doesn’t justify who he is. He has been overmatched. But I have noticed that he doesn’t use his jab and he doesn”t have the heart when you press him. We have been using Juice’s angles and combinations and slowly we have been to eliminate bad habits. He is smart, a hard worker and disciplined and his best boxing is ahead of him.”
“Anthony “Lé” Young will attempt to continue building his already impressive career,”said long time manager, Rich Masini. “we are very confident in our current team. Head trainer Raul “Chino” Rivas has been doing as excellent job with Juice. I’ve seen Juice grow in every aspect , both inside and out of the ring” says Masini.
