The show was the Inaugural Danbury Fight Night promoted by Prize Promotions.

The main event saw Williams show his quick hand speed to outpoint Bowles for most of the fight. In the final round, Williams landed a booming straight left that sent Bowles down hard on his back. Bowles did well to get to his feet only to take a barrage of punches and the fight was stopped at 1:36 of round six.

Williams (8-0 2KOs) out of New Haven, BT, turned pro at the age of 19 after a stellar amateur career, winning his first 8 pro fights in under a year and a half. Legal issues in 2013, halted Williams’ fast track to stardom. After over a year and a half layoff, Williams is set to make his return and reclaim the momentum and buzz that he created as a teenager. Promoter A.J. Galante was happy to give Williams a second chance.

 

“People make mistakes in life, big or small, especially kids. I’m a firm believer in people can learn from them, and I’m big on second chances. I’m proud to be the one to give Tramaine a second chance in boxing, when not a lot of people were willing to. I sat with him, we spoke, and I saw a kid look me in the eye and I saw that he was sincere about getting back on the right track. I’m hoping by giving him a second chance, he will make the most of it, and fulfill his promise. To prove he is serious about his vision, Galante has turned his matchmaking over to Hall of Fame Philadelphia promoter, Russell Peltz along with one of the sports youngest and most promising promoters and matchmakers, Brittany “BAM”

“Russell is the definition of Old School matchmaking, he’s one of the last out there, so it was a no brainer for me to reach out to him, and I am honored that he is willing to work with me.” Galante belirtti, “His resume speaks for itself, I am extremely confident that working together, we will put on spectacular shows” Galante was also extremely excited to work with Brittany “BAM” Rogers, who works in conjunction with Russell Peltz,

“I’m often referred to as one of the youngest boxing people on the business side of things, but BAM is actually younger than me, and has been in the sport longer than me. I have a lot of respect for her and have been learning a lot through working with her.”

Ultimately Galante said what cemented his choice on his matchmakers, was a trip to Philladelphia in October, to attend a show promoted by both Peltz and Rogers, “When you think Philly boxing, you think gritty and exciting, and you can’t think Philadelphia boxing without Russell Peltz and Brittany Rogers, and I am looking forward to bringing those types of shows and that environment here to Connecticut.” It won’t be long for Galante to fulfill his promise, as his first show Danbury Fight Night, yer alacak30 Mayıs Danbury Arena'da, in his hometown of Danbury, BT.

Bethlehem, Pensilvanya (Şubat 26, 2015)–Cuma Günü gece, 10 Nisan, boks özel bir gece Bethlehem Sands Casino Resort başlayacak, Pensilvanya, Boxcino olarak 2015 Jr. Orta siklet & Ağır yarı finalinde aynı akşam gerçekleşecek.
