Vorsehung, RI (September 15, 2015)–Es wurde heute auf der Rhode Island State House, die ehemalige WBO Jr. ungeschlagen angekündigt. Mittelgewichts-Champion Demetrius Andrade wird am Samstagabend in den Ring zurückkehren, Oktober 17 wenn er auf Dario Fabian Pucheta, die an der Mohegan Sun in Uncasville stattfinden wird, Connecticut.

Der Kampf wird um den WBO-Internationale Jr fochten werden. Titel im Mittelgewicht.

Andrade (21-0, 14 KO) werden wieder zum ersten Mal in 16 Monate, und der 17. Oktober Kampf wird der Kampf, Andrade zurück zu einem WM-Titel Sprungbrett sein wird.

Andrade verteidigte seinen Titel mit einem siebten Runde Stillstand über Brian Rose am Juni 14, 2014 bei Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Pucheta der Benos Aires, Argentinien hat einen Rekord von 20-2 mit 11 Knockouts. Die 28 Jährige hat drei in einer Reihe, die seinem letzten Kampf beinhaltet gewann, als er gestoppt Bethuel Ushona (32-2) am Oktober 4, 2014 in Windhoek, Namibia.

Williams stops Bowles in six in Danbury Fight Night main event

Danbury, CT (Mai 30, 2015)--Prospect Tramaine Williams capped off a great night of boxing with a 6th round stoppage over Josh Bowles in the final scheduled round of their Featherweight bout at the Danbury Arena.

The show was the Inaugural Danbury Fight Night promoted by Prize Promotions.

The main event saw Williams show his quick hand speed to outpoint Bowles for most of the fight. In the final round, Williams landed a booming straight left that sent Bowles down hard on his back. Bowles did well to get to his feet only to take a barrage of punches and the fight was stopped at 1:36 von Runde sechs.

Danbury, CT (Mai 6, 2015)– Auf 30. Mai Prize Promotions presents their first professional boxing card, Danbury Fight Night, taking place at the Danbury Arena, in Danbury, CT. This action packed card is loaded with some of Connecticut’s fastest rising stars, and will be headlined by the much anticipated return of former amateur sensation, and undefeated professional Tramaine “Mighty Midget” Williams.

Williams (8-0 2KOs) out of New Haven, CT, turned pro at the age of 19 after a stellar amateur career, winning his first 8 pro fights in under a year and a half. Legal issues in 2013, halted Williams’ fast track to stardom. After over a year and a half layoff, Williams is set to make his return and reclaim the momentum and buzz that he created as a teenager. Promoter A.J. Galante was happy to give Williams a second chance.

 

“People make mistakes in life, big or small, especially kids. I’m a firm believer in people can learn from them, and I’m big on second chances. I’m proud to be the one to give Tramaine a second chance in boxing, when not a lot of people were willing to. I sat with him, we spoke, and I saw a kid look me in the eye and I saw that he was sincere about getting back on the right track. I’m hoping by giving him a second chance, he will make the most of it, and fulfill his promise. I’m certain a big performance 30. Mai will catch the eyes of everyone in the sport, which will only lead to more opportunities for him. Williams certainly won’t be coming back after a long layoff with a soft touch, he will be taking on Josh Bowles (9-1, 1KO) out of Harrisburg, PA in a 6 round featherweight attraction.

 

Also featured on the card will be New Haven’s Nate “The Great One” Grün (7-0, 2KOs) as he takes on tough veteran spoiler Timur Shailezov (17-9-1, 4KO) from Kyrgyzstan, currently residing in Philadelphia, PA

 

Galante made clear that he has not signed Williams, Grün, or any boxer for that matter to promotional contracts, but he noted there are requirements to fighting under Prize Promotions, “My vision is to give guys opportunities that could springboard them to bigger and better things. I’m looking to actually promote the sport the old fashioned way, and put together exciting 50-50 matchups. I think anyone who fights on my card should be recognized as a throwback fighter, and someone that wants to really become great. My matchmakers Russell Peltz, Brittany Rogers and I have not put any soft matches together. Fans can look at this lineup, and realize it’s nearly impossible for there to be an upset, because all these bouts, top to bottom, are equally matched. Everyone fighting on 30. Mai understood from the start that they have to fight tough competition, because in the end, it will only bring the best out of them and they will actually grow as a boxer from their matches. Plus the fans deserve it.”

ORANGE, Calif. (Mai 5, 2015) – Junior-Mittelgewicht Brandon Adams (16-1, 12 KOs) is returning to a familiar situation. After coming up short in last year’s Boxcino finals and suffering the only loss of his career, the Los Angeles-native dropped down one weight class and fought his way back to the 10-round championship fight.

John Thompson reflects on Boxcino semifinal win and looks forward towards the final on May 22

Newark, NJ (April 21, 2015)— John “Apollo Kidd” Thompson has begun preparations for his Mai 22 Boxcino final bout against Brandon Adams. (17-1, 12 KO).

Thompson is in Virginia, training under Kay Koroma and he is looking to win the prestigious tournament against Thompson in the 10-round bout at the Omega Products International Outdoor Arena in Corona, Kalifornien.
Thompson (16-1, 5 KO) is coming off a 8-round split decision over previously undefeated Stanyslav Skorokhod on April 10 in Bethlehem, PA.
“I outboxed the guy,” sagte Thompson. I focused on what I needed to focus on and that was using my jab. I also focused on not to exchange and bang with him and I did a pretty good job of that.”
“As well as I fought, I do not think that was even my best win.”
Now he looks towards Adams. Adams of Los Angeles has experience in the Boxcino finals as his only loss was to Willie Monroe Jr. in last year’s Middleweight finals.
“I am happy to be in the finals. This is an opportunity that will be the uprising of my career,” continued Thompson.
“Brandon is a brawler. He will have a few weeks to come up with a strategy to beat me.”
Said Thompson’s promoter, Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions, “I believe we are longer, been in tougher and the better boxer. Brandon is a good fighter but I think he is too green. I know he had a brief amateur career and he could be too green for John.”

Philadelphia (März 31, 2015)–Es ist weniger als zwei Wochen weg vom Halbfinale der Boxcino 2015 Schwergewicht und jr. Mittelgewichts-Turniere, die am Freitagabend stattfinden wird, 10. April und wird im Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem statt, PA.

 

Die Show wird live auf ESPN Friday Night Fights im Fernsehen übertragen werden, wobei die Boxcino Halbfinale Kämpfe am Anfang 9 PM ET.

 

Alle Halbfinale Kämpfe sind seit acht Runden angesetzt.

 

Im Schwergewicht, Andrey Fedosov (26-3, 21 KO) dauert an Lenroy Thomas (19-3, 8 KO). Fedosov is coming off a first round pounding of Nate Heaven while Thomas won a 7-round drawbreaker over former U.S. Olympischen Jason Estrada.

 

Im zweiten Halbfinale, Razvan Cojanu (13-1, 7 KO) dauert an Donovan Dennis (11-1, 9 KO).

Skorokhod war sehr eindrucksvoll bei der Aufnahme von Michael Moore in vier Runden. Thompson nahm einen sechs runden einstimmigen Beschluss über Ricardo Pinnel.

 

Brandon Adams (16-1, 11KO) Schlachten Vito Gasparyan (15-3-5, 8 KO).

 

Adams hielt Alex Perez in fünf Runden, während Gasparyan gewann einen Sechs-Runden einstimmigen Beschluss über bisher ungeschlagenen Simeon Hardy.

Bethlehem, PA (Februar 26, 2015)–Am Freitag Nacht, 10. April, eine besondere Nacht des Boxens wird von der Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem beginnen, PA, als Boxcino 2015 Jr. Mittelgewicht & Schwergewichts-Halbfinale findet am selben Abend nehmen.
Die Show wird von Arthur Pelullo das Banner Promotions gefördert und wird live ausgestrahlt ESPN Freitag Night Fights bei 9 p.m. UND auf ESPN2
In den letzten 2 Wochen, das Viertelfinale fand in beiden Unternehmensbereichen, und die Match-Ups auf April 10 sind wie folgt:
Im Jr. Mittelgewicht:
Brandon Adams (16-1, 11 KO) kämpfen Vito Gasparyan (15-3-5, 8 KO) währendStanyslav Skorokhod (9-0, 7 KO) Schlachten John Thompson (15-1, 5 KO).
Im Bereich Schwergewichts:

Alle vier Boxcino Halbfinale Kämpfe sind seit acht Runden angesetzt.
