Bronx-born, Las Vegas-trained Andy Dominguez (12-1, 6 KOs) takes on Byron Rojas (24-4-3, 12 KOs) for the WBC US Junior Light Flyweight Silver title. – Bruce “The AC Express” Seldon: Son of boxing legend Bruce Seldon, he makes his fourth Tropicana appearance, competing in his first six-round bout.

– **Julio Sanchez III: Pleasantville’s hometown fighter, after a strong pro debut in March, faces veteran Alexander Stone.

– Christian Ortiz: Philadelphia’s undefeated welterweight (4-0, 4 KOs) will display his knockout ability.

Returning New England Golden Gloves Champion Xavier Vega in action this Thursday night at Central N.E. semifinals in Lowell

(Январ 25, 2016) – Returning New England Golden Gloves welterweight champion Ксаве Vega, аз Лоуренс (MA), leads a host of talented open and novice class amateur boxers into this Thursday night’s (Jan. 8) in the Central New England (Greater Lowell) semifinals of the 70уми annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The 21-year-old Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing, faces Nashua (NH) рақиби Michael Fontanez in one of eight open class matches. There are also eight novice class matches scheduled.
Vega, who has a 33-3 сабти ҳаводор, didn’t start boxing until he was 17 because he has only one kidney. A construction worker by day, Vega hopes to become a professional boxer and, агар не, a Lawrence police officer in order to give back to his community.
