Main Event: Andy Dominguez vs. Byron Rojas**
Bronx-born, Las Vegas-trained Andy Dominguez (12-1, 6 KO) takes on Byron Rojas (24-4-3, 12 KO) for the WBC US Junior Light Flyweight Silver title. Fresh off a strong victory against Angel Geovanny Meza Morales at Boxing Insider’s Sony Hall event in December 2024, Dominguez looks to climb the flyweight ranks. Rojas, a seasoned contender, aims to test Dominguez in a closely matched regional title bout.

– Daiyaan Butt: Philadelphia’s super lightweight (20-2) combines technical skill and power. A Temple University graduate and technology risk consultant, Butt, trained by Raul Rivas, is set to perform.

– **Julio Sanchez III: Pleasantville’s hometown fighter, after a strong pro debut in March, faces veteran Alexander Stone.

– Christian Ortiz: Philadelphia’s undefeated welterweight (4-0, 4 KO) will display his knockout ability.

– Cali Box: From Franklin Township, New Jersey, Box returns to Tropicana after defeating Victor Pradis on March 22.

Returning New England Golden Gloves Champion Xavier Vega in action this Thursday night at Central N.E. semifinals in Lowell

LOWELL, Hmota. (Január 25, 2016) – Returning New England Golden Gloves welterweight champion Xavier Vega, Lawrence (MA), leads a host of talented open and novice class amateur boxers into this Thursday night’s (Január. 8) in the Central New England (Greater Lowell) semifinals of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The 21-year-old Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing, faces Nashua (NH) vyzývateľ Michael Fontanez in one of eight open class matches. There are also eight novice class matches scheduled.
Vega, who has a 33-3 amatérsky záznam, didn’t start boxing until he was 17 because he has only one kidney. A construction worker by day, Vega hopes to become a professional boxer and, Ak nie je uvedené, a Lawrence police officer in order to give back to his community.

A novice super heavyweight showdown between heavy hitters Ryan Brooks, of Weymouth (MA), and Boston’s Christian Ortiz.
