Yunusov stops Salinas in seven to remain undefeated

Belen, PA (Nobyembre 18, 2018) —This past Friday night, Three-time Olympian Anvar Yunusov remained perfect by stopping Jose Salinas in the 7th round of their scheduled eight-round junior lightweight bout the headlined a nine-bout card at

Yunusov, who competed in the 2008, 2012 at 2016 Olympics for his native country Tajikistan, dominated the action, and finally broke Salinas down in the 7th frame.

Andujar of Reading, PA is 2-0 with both wins coming early.

 

 

 

In a fight heavyweight contest featuring previously undefeated light heavyweight, Travis Toledo took an entertaining four-round majority decision over Kendall Cannida.

 

 

 

Both guys had their moments in the spirited brawl, but it was Toledo who came away with the victory to raise his mark to 3-0. Cannida of Philadelphia drops to 2-1.

 

Vincent Floyd used two 1st round knockdowns to catapult himself to a four-round unanimous decision over Ricky Nuno in a welterweight clash.

 

 

 

Nuno made a great effort after the 1st round, but he dug himself too far of a hole to catch Floyd.

 

 

 

Floyd of Philadelphia is 4-5-1. Nuno of Bethlehem is 2-2.

Enero 22, 2018 – Victory and Now Boxing Promotions’ prospects are staying busy in the new year. The promotions’ top prospect, Jaron “Boots” Ennis (17-0, 15KO) is back in action this Biyernes, January 26th in his hometown of Philadelphia. Ang 20 year old boxer, widely considered the best prospect in Philadelphia, will appear on the Real Deal Boxing card at Sugarhouse Casino. Brian Norman Jr., son of super middleweight Brian Norman (17-11, 5KO) ng Atlanta, won in his professional debut in Houston sa Sabado, at Christian Montano advanced to 4-0 (4KO) on the same card. All three fighters are managed by Cameron Dunkin at na-promote sa pamamagitan ng Chris Middendorf of Victory Boxing Promotions, at Joseph Dunkin of Now Boxing Promotions.

Dunkin and Middendorf may not get him to 21 wins by his 21st birthday, but both feel certain that 2018 will be the real ‘coming out’ year for the young talent.

Humble, Teksas (Hulyo 7, 2017) – Highly decorated amateur, Christian Montano (1-0, 1 KO) has signed with NOW Promotions

Montano of The Woodlands, Texas was a three-time national champion, and had a 43-2 amateur talaan, Ang 18 year-old Montano is managed by James Cooper and NFL All-Pro offensive Tackle, Trent Williams of the Washington Redskins.
“Everything is good. I get great sparring, and I have been focusing on my footwork as well as the little things,” said Montano.
Montano, who is set to finish High School, was juggling school and training as he turned professional.
“It was hard to do that. I missed some school, but finishing is important to me. I have been taken a couple Summer classes, and I will have my diploma in the next month.”
“I would love to fight twice a month and get to 10-0 by the end of the year. That way I can also be active and in front of crowds to build my fan base.”
Being with a management team that includes Williams, a five-time pro bowl selection, has been a positive influence on the 18 taon gulang na.
“Trent sees me as being on a path to success that he has achieved. He guides me, and we have a great friendship. He has shown me how to be a professional and we have talks about hard work and getting to the top of our profession.”
