Atlantic City, New Jersey (Marec 12, 2018)–Chazz Witherspoon raised his winning streak to eight in a row as he went the eight-round distance by won a unanimous decision over Lamont Capers that headlined a seven-bout card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
The show, which took place this past Sobota, was promoted by Mis Downing Promotions and Silverspoon Promotions.
Witherspoon was able to outpoint the crafty Capers. Capers was very competitive, but it was Witherspoon’s size and harder punches that proved to be the difference as he captured the via 78-74, 78-74 in 77-75 rezultati.

Willis Lockett took a six-round majority decision over Prince Badi Ajamu in a cruiserweight bout.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Marec 8, 2018)–Težji Chazz “Gentleman” Witherspoon is looking for a big fight in the suddenly hot heavyweight division. In order to get into the mix he will need a victory to soboto night when he takes on veteran Mike Sheppard in in the eight-round main event on at The Claridge Hotel v Atlantic City.
The Witherspoon – Sheppard bout will headline a nine-bout card, promoted by Mis Downing Promotions and Silver Spoon Promotions.
Witherspoon, 36-3 s 28 Knockouts, is on a six-fight knockout streak, and has not lost in almost six years.
Witherspoon will be making his first start since stopping Carlos Sandoval in the 4th round on October 1, 2016.

Young has won seven fights in a row, which includes his last outing, when he took a six-round unanimous decision over Carlos Winston Velasquez on August 19, 2017 at The Claridge. This will be Young’s fifth fight at The Claridge and fourth in a row.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Januar 25, 2018)–Mis Downing promotions is primed for a big year in 2018.
The New Jersey based promotion staged it’s inaugural events in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 2017, and already has four dates on the schedule for 2018.
The 1st of those events will take place v soboto noč, March 10th v hotelu Claridge v Atlantic Cityju.
“We are very excited for a great year of boxing,” said Mis Downing. “We have a tremendous event planned for March 10th where I will be co-promoting with Silver Spoon Promotions, and have Chazz Witherspoon in the main event. We have some of the best fighters in the area that will make up a great undercard.”
The full card and ticket information for the March 10th show will be announced next week.
“We have at least three more dates, and we want to feature great fights while providing the fans with terrific entertainment. We are also about to announce the signing of some terrific fighters that we plan to build and feature on our events. We are looking to bring a lot of shows to Atlantic City, and I want to congratulate the new mayor Frank Gilliam on his inauguration.”
“We are also looking forward to working with with Roy Jones, Jr. spet. In 2017,we did a great show co-promoting with him in August, and we already have a commitment to do another show with him in Atlantic City.”

Atlantic City, New Jersey (November 2, 2017)–Local favorite Anthony “Juice” Young will headline a special night of action dubbed “Boardwalk Brawls 2” na Sobota, December 16th pri The Claridge Hotel v Atlantic City.
The show is promoted by Mis Downing Promotions.
Young of Atlantic City has a record of 18-2 with six knockouts, and is riding a seven fight winning streak.
The 29 year-old Young is a six-year veteran who has garnered wins over Jose Javier Calderon (4-1), and is coming off a six-round unanimous decision over 56-fight veteran Carlos Winston Velasquez on August 19th at The Claridge.
This will be Young’s 4th consecutive start at The Claridge and 12th overall fight in his hometown of Atlantic City.
Young’s opponent in the scheduled ten-round bout will be announced shortly.
Appearing the eight-round heavyweight co-feature will be Heavyweight Chazz Witherspoon.

Witherspoon takes on Marrone in 2

Bristol, PA (Avgust 6, 2016) – Chazz Witherspoon scored his fifth consecutive knockout victory as he took out former world title challenger Mike Marrone in round two of their scheduled six-round heavyweight bout in the main event at the Grundy Arena.

The eight-bout card was promoted by D and D Promotions and Silver Spoon Promotions.

Witherspoon sent Marrone to the canvas in round one with a left hook. Seconds later it was a hard 1-2 that sent Marrone down for a second time.

V krogu dveh, Witherspoon landed a booming right that deposited Marrone on the canvas for a third time. Marrone got to his feet but the fight was waved off at 1:31.

Samuel Seah won a four round unanimous decision over Samuel Amoako in a junior welterweight bout.

Good looking prospect, Jaron Ennis stopped Matthew Murphy in round two of a scheduled four round junior welterweight bout.

Mike Hilton remained undefeated by stopping Cortez Reed at 1:57 in the fourth and final scheduled round of their cruiserweight bout.

Rodriguez dropped Whar three times in round one, with the last coming from a left hook and the bout was stopped at 1:55.

Luis Perozo remained undefeated by winning a 4-round unanimous decision over Alberto Martinez in a lightweight bout.

In the meantime, Witherspoon will continue and promote the sport. Along with D & D Promotions, he is the co-promoter of Saturday’s fight.
“We have been trying to get the word out to the area. It’s a good surrounding area with Neshaminy and Bensalem and just over the bridge, you have Burlington, Florence and Willingboro.”
Seeing action in the eight-round co-feature will be junior welterweight Emanuel “The Tranzforma” Taylor (19-4, 13 KO je) bori Carlos Aguilera (10-16, 4 KO je) of Chiapas, Mexico.

With a win, Taylor is earmarked for a September fight with WBO number-two ranked Jose Zepeda.

The Taylor – Aguilera bout is promoted in association with Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing.
