Atlantic City, New Jersey (Marzo 12, 2018)–Chazz Witherspoon raised his winning streak to eight in a row as he went the eight-round distance by won a unanimous decision over Lamont Capers that headlined a seven-bout card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

Perez almost made a quick night for himself as he dropped Hilton in the 1st round. Hilton stormed back to register his own knockdown’s in round two and three.

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Marzo 8, 2018)–Peso-pesado Chazz “The Gentleman” Witherspoon is looking for a big fight in the suddenly hot heavyweight division. In order to get into the mix he will need a victory este sábado night when he takes on veteran Mike Sheppard in in the eight-round main event on at The Claridge Hotel en Atlantic City.
The Witherspoon – Sheppard bout will headline a nine-bout card, promoted by Mis Downing Promotions and Silver Spoon Promotions.
Witherspoon, 36-3 con 28 nocautes, is on a six-fight knockout streak, and has not lost in almost six years.
Witherspoon will be making his first start since stopping Carlos Sandoval in the 4th round on October 1, 2016.
“Everything is good, and despite me having a layoff, I am never too far out of shape, so I don’t expect to have any ring rust,” dixo o 36 year-old native of Paulsboro, New Jersey.
In Sheppard, Witherspoon is taking on a veteran, who has fought a handful of top heavyweights.
“He is a veteran, and he has 25 vitorias, so you have to respect that. I am not taking him lightly.”
Witherspoon is done taking layoffs, and he does not expect anymore layoffs.
“I want to stay as busy as possible, so I can be ready for big fights. I am closing in on 40 vitorias, so with the heavyweight division getting hot again, I feel with my record, that I should be able to get into the mix. I always like fighting in Atlantic City. It is a 40 minute drive from my home. It has been a pleasure working with Mis Dowing Promotions, and I look forward to a great night o sábado.”

Mis Downing Promotions looking for a big year in 2018

Atlantic City, New Jersey (Xaneiro 25, 2018)–Mis Downing promotions is primed for a big year in 2018.
The New Jersey based promotion staged it’s inaugural events in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 2017, and already has four dates on the schedule for 2018.
The 1st of those events will take place o sábado noite, March 10th at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
“We are very excited for a great year of boxing,” said Mis Downing. “We have a tremendous event planned for March 10th where I will be co-promoting with Silver Spoon Promotions, and have Chazz Witherspoon in the main event. We have some of the best fighters in the area that will make up a great undercard.”
The full card and ticket information for the March 10th show will be announced next week.
“We have at least three more dates, and we want to feature great fights while providing the fans with terrific entertainment. We are also about to announce the signing of some terrific fighters that we plan to build and feature on our events. We are looking to bring a lot of shows to Atlantic City, and I want to congratulate the new mayor Frank Gilliam on his inauguration.”

Witherspoon takes on Marrone in 2

Bristol, PA (Agosto 6, 2016) – Chazz Witherspoon scored his fifth consecutive knockout victory as he took out former world title challenger Mike Marrone in round two of their scheduled six-round heavyweight bout in the main event at the Grundy Arena.

The eight-bout card was promoted by D and D Promotions and Silver Spoon Promotions.

Witherspoon sent Marrone to the canvas in round one with a left hook. Seconds later it was a hard 1-2 that sent Marrone down for a second time.

“We have been trying to get the word out to the area. It’s a good surrounding area with Neshaminy and Bensalem and just over the bridge, you have Burlington, Florence and Willingboro.”
Seeing action in the eight-round co-feature will be junior welterweight Emanuel “The Tranzforma” Taylor (19-4, 13 KO) batalhando Carlos Aguilera (10-16, 4 KO) of Chiapas, México.

Cunha vitoria, Taylor is earmarked for a September fight with WBO number-two ranked Jose Zepeda.
