Due to the growing concerns over COVID-19, Premier Boxing Champions scheduled events for March and April have been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date. At this time there’s no information regarding future shows. “The health and safety of the boxers, fans and those working the events are of utmost importance to us,” dijo Tom Brown, President of TGB Promotions and lead promoter for the cancelled shows. “We are all disappointed and as we get more information we will address future events.”

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Noviembre 8, 2018) – Debido a razones que implican cuestiones médicas, Campeonato Final Fight ha anunciado que “FFC 34” el 9 de noviembre ha sido cancelado oficialmente.

 

 

 

Nick Sadeghi, MD de Atleta Medical Advantage en Las Vegas, Nevada, emitió la siguiente declaración al Campeonato Final Fight.

 

La Comisión Atlética de Nevada requiere una serie de exámenes médicos para ser completado por un luchador profesional con el fin de determinar el estado de salud de un luchador, el resultado de esos exámenes que determinan si el luchador se borrará de competir o no. De mayor preocupación es el bienestar físico del luchador. Se determinó por médicos independientes que se conduzcan los exámenes de FFC, así como la Comisión Atlética de Nevada que varios combatientes programados para competir en la tarjeta novena pelea de noviembre no serían capaces de competir debido a hallazgos anormales MRA que se identificaron pequeños aneurismas en el cerebro. Por obvias razones, estos luchadores no podían ser talados para competir sin intervención médica adecuada. Esto incluye la consulta con un neurocirujano y un radiólogo intervencionista. Algunos combatientes se pueden borrar después de este, pero algunos pueden necesitar un procedimiento quirúrgico para corregir el aneurisma antes de que él o ella puede seguir luchando en el futuro.

CES AND NEF FORCED TO CANCEL CO-PROMOTIONAL EVENT

Lewiston, Maine (Octubre 3, 2016) – The CES and NEF co-promotion scheduled for Noviembre 4 in Lewiston is no more. Executives from both companies announced today that the mixed-martial-arts event had been canceled due to matchmaking issues.

 

With several fighters pulling off the AXS TV portion of the card, and others turning down fights offered by matchmakers, and with the 30-day deadline to submit the fight card to the state commission for approval looming, the two companies were left with no choice but to call the event off.

 

“We are disappointed that this event didn’t materialize as planned,” said CES Vice President and Director of Legal Affairs Jimmy Burchfield, Jr. “But we are optimistic that we can make it happen in 2017.”

 

Details will follow for CES 39.

 

“It’s unfortunate, but we had no other option,” said NEF promoter Nick DiSalvo. “When one door closes, another opens.”

 

The door that has opened is Sábado, Noviembre 19 en el Androscoggin Banco Colisee. NEF will present “NEF 26,” and it will feature the promotion’s fighters who had already been scheduled to compete on Noviembre 4 plus many others. Las puertas abrirán a 6 pm with first fight at 7 pm. “Once we made the mutual decision to cancel the event,” said NEF matchmaker Matt Peterson, “I got on the phone and immediately started making calls. Within hours we had already assembled a spectacular card that we’ll be sharing with fans this week. No one will be disappointed when they make the trek to the Colisee on November 19º. We have an explosive event planned.”

 

For those who have already purchased tickets for Noviembre 4 through the Colisee box office, they will have the option of either a full refund or using their ticket for Noviembre 19. Fans will have until this Friday, Octubre 7 en 4 pm EDT to call the box office at 207-783-2009 x 525 to request a full refund. The box office cannot refund tickets purchased from fighters. Any fan who purchased a ticket from a fighter and would like a refund will have to return their ticket to the fighter for the refund. Fans who choose to keep their tickets for Noviembre 19do not have to do anything. All tickets printed with the “Noviembre 4” date will be honored at the door on Noviembre 19.

DIBELLA ENTERTAINMENT STATEMENT REGARDING CUELLAR VS. MARES

Nueva York, Nueva York (6/17/16) - Regrettably, due to a medical issue that renders former three-division world champion Abner Mares presently unable to fight in New York State, the Cuellar vs. Mares fight has been cancelled and will be replaced on the SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING on CBS, Presentado por Premier campeones de boxeo, telecast next Sábado, Junio 25. Abner’s condition is in no way life-threatening, nor was it revealed in a blood or urine test; there was no use of any drugs, including PEDs or other banned substances.
