“I’ve been training hard. I’ve seen Granados fight a few times and I know what he can do. I’m excited to be back in Los Angeles, because this is where the stars fight. This is another fight that can get me to where I want to go in my career.

“My mentality is that I have to stop Granados. Nobody has stopped him and I have to do that to make a statement. He’s never fought a counter puncher like me and I’m definitely the hardest puncher he’s faced. I’m going to showcase everything to get the stoppage.

Der 35-jährige Guerrero (34-6-1, 19 KOs) hat eine reiche Karriere voller faszinierender Matches gegen einige der besten Boxer dieser Generation – Floyd Mayweather, Jr., Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia – und hat Titel im Federgewicht gewonnen, Superfedergewicht, leicht und welterleicht. Kampf aus Gilroy, Kalifornien, er wird es mit Herrera aufnehmen (24-16-1, 18 KOs) nach einem KO-Sieg über Adam Mates im Dezember.

Geboren in Colorado und Ausbildung in Las Vegas, Vazquez (14-0, 7 KOs) ist der jüngere Bruder des ehemaligen dreimaligen Meisters Israel Vazquez. Der 21-Jährige kämpft seither professionell 2013 und holte zwei Siege in 2018. Zuletzt gewann er seinen ersten 10-Runden-Kampf mit einer einstimmigen Entscheidung über den damals ungeschlagenen Luis Gollindano im vergangenen April.

Payano (20-2, 9 KOs) wurde Weltmeister in 2014 als er Anselmo Moreno durch technische Entscheidung besiegte, bevor er verteidigte und dann den Titel in zwei aufregenden Kämpfen gegen Rau’shee Warren verlor. **Francisco ‘Chia’ Santana** (25-6-1, 12 KOs) wird seine **PBC** debut on the televised undercard of the **WBC Welterweight World Championship Fight** zwischen **Shawn Porter** und **Yordenis Ugás** weiterleben **Fuchs** auf **March 9th** im Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Kalifornien.

I believe I am only one or two fights away from that opportunity and no one is going to stand in my way.”

The 31-year-old Fonfara announced that he is retiring from boxing, prompting him to withdraw from the fight against Rodriguez on Wednesday.

“There is no more enthusiasm and above all no more of the motivation and adrenaline that gave me the desire to go into the ring and compete,” Fonfara said. “Ich bin Gesund. Everything is okay. But I no longer have the heart for boxing.”
