Philadelphia, PA (December 10, 2018) — This past Friday night, Kalvin Henderson remained undefeated, and he established himself as a top super middleweight prospect by scoring a 7th round stoppage over Brandon Robinson in a thrilling battle at the 2300 Arena.


The fight headlined a six-bout card promoted by King’s Promotions.
The entire card was streamed live and can be viewed on-demand on the King’s Boxing Facebook page.

The fight was a grueling battle that had many ebbs and flows.  The contest at times was a boxing match, with both fighters trying to establish their jabs, but much of it was fought on the inside with each guy having success in the close fight.

In round two, Robinson began to swell under his left eye that was the result of a punch by Henderson. 

In round three, but men were cut from punches as Robinson was cut over his right eye, while Henderson was cut over the left optic.

In round five, the fight changed as Henderson dropped Robinson with a hard uppercut.  When Robinson got to his feet, his left eye was virtually shut.  Robinson showed tremendous courage as he came forward and even, with just one eye, landed some good shots on Henderson.

In round seven, Henderson came out with a renewed vigor, and turned up his work-rate and he dropped Robinson twice and ended the fight at 2:08 of the round.

Henderson, 166.4 lbs of Fort Worth, Texas is now 11-0 with seven knockouts.  Robinson, 168.1 lbs of Philadelphia is 11-2.


In the co-feature, Paul Koon shook off four-years of ring rust to win a four-round unanimous decision over Cade Rodriguez in a heavyweight bout.

Koon dropped Rodriguez in round one with a left hook on the inside. 

Koon was not able to finish off his large opponent, but came home with to win by scores of 40-35 twice and 39-36.

Koon, 237.4 lbs of Philadelphia is 4-0. Rodriguez, 293.9 lbs of Monroe, GA is 293.9 lbs of Monroe, GA is 2-3.

Romuel Cruz pitched a shutout, and won a four-round unanimous decision over Hugo Rodriguez in a super bantamweight bout.
Cruz, 122 lbs of Philadelphia won by scores of 40-36 on all cards, and is now 3-0-1.  Rodriguez, 120.9 lbs of Nuevo Leon, Mexico is 0-2.

Isaiah Wise scored a sensational 2nd round stoppage over over Andy Gonzales in a scheduled six-round super welterweight fight.
In the opening seconds of the bout, both guys stood toe-to-toe and landed good shots on each other.  At the end of the frame, Wise landed a huge right hand that froze Gonzales.  Gonzales was looking around the ring, only to eat a monster right that sent him to the canvas. Clearly, the one-minute respite was not enough for Gonzalez, as Wise landed a hard flurry on the ropes, and the fight was stopped at 40 seconds.

Wise, 155.9 lbs of Philadelphia is now 7-2-1 with four knockouts.  Gonzales, 151.6 lbs of  Worcester, MA is 6-4.

James Brenadin and Sheldon Deverteuil battled to a four-round split draw in a fight featuring undefeated lightweights.

Each fighter took a card 39-37, and a 3rd card read even at 38-38.
Brenadin, 139.5 lbs of Lancaster, PA is 1-0-1.  Deverteuil, 137.1 lbs of Philadelphia is 1-0-2.

Travis Toledo dropped Ronnie Lawrence twice en-rout to a first round stoppage in a scheduled four-round light heavyweight bout.
The time of the finish was 2:30 for Toledo, 173.3 lbs of Baltimore, who is now 4-0 with three knockouts.  Lawrence, 174.4 lbs of Philadelphia is 0-3.

Philadelphia, PA (December 3, 2018) –This Friday night at The 2300 Arena  in Philadelphia, rising super middleweight Brandon Robinson looks for a very significant win when he takes on Kalvin Henderson in the ten-round main event of an eight-bout card.

Robinson on Philadelphia, has a record of 11-1 with eight knockouts.  All 11 of his wins have come in a row,

 

 

 

“Training has been good.  I have trained for a good eight weeks, and I have been getting top of the line sparring. I feel really confident,” said Robinson.

In Henderson, he is takin on an undefeated foe, who has been promising a win, But Robinson believes that Henderson is overlooking the fighter known as “B-Rob.”

 

 

 

“I think he could be my toughest test.  He is undefeated, and has a good amateur background.  He is overlooking me, so on Friday, I have a point to prove.  I am coming in to make a statement.”

 

 

 

Robinson feels that with his promoter and management team behind him, he is on his way to a great 2019.

On September 28th, super middleweight, Cem Kilic won an eight-round unanimous decision over fellow undefeated fighter DeAndre Ware in a bout that was nationally televised on ShoBox: The New Generation from Temecula, California.

 

 

 

On October 13th, lightweight contender Mason Menard got back into the win column with a six-round unanimous decision over Ronald Rivas in Gary, Indiana.

 

 

 

Also, super middleweight Kalvin Henderson will look for a step-up bout in December when he takes on Brandon Robinson on December 7th in Philadelphia.

Williams defeats Grayton in terrific Welterweight battle

Yunusov, Jimenez, Butt, Williams and Tazhibay remain undefeated

Philadelphia, PA (September 17, 2018) -Surging super middleweight Brandon Robinson won his 11th straight bout as he took out Ernest Amuzu in round three of their scheduled eight-round bout that headlined a nine-bout card this past Friday night at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Robinson of Upper Darby, PA bided his time until in round three, when he landed a nice body shot that drove Amuzu into the corner.  That set up a furious flurry by Robinson.  Robinson rocked Amuzu several times until he was defenseless, and the bout was stopped at 2:04.

 

 

 

Robinson is now 11-1 with eight stoppages.  Amuzu of Prichard, Alabama is 24-4.

 

 

 

“It was a good fight.  Ernest Amuzu came to fight, and he was a worthy opponent. We work hard in the gym and the reward is even better,” said Robinson.  “The finish came from a jab, and then I touched the body a couple of times.  We started to wear him out, and that was that.  A knockout is always great.  I want to fight Derrick Webster for the number-five spot in the IBF.  It is nothing personal just business.  I know that I can beat him.”

 

 

 

In the exciting co-feature, Terrel Williams registered three knockdowns en-route to a ten-round unanimous decision over David Grayton in a welterweight contest.

 

 

 

Williams scored a knockdown in round one from a perfectly placed right hand. A round later, it was another straight right that put the southpaw Grayton the canvas.  Grayton began to mount a comeback in the middle rounds as he tried to will himself back into the fight.

 

 

 

In round six, Williams gained back the momentum as yet another right hand sent Grayton down.  That knockdown seemed to actually fuel Grayton as he did his best work over the next few rounds.  Williams came back to have a good round ten and came home home with the victory by scores of 98-90, 98-89 and 97-92.

 

 

 

Williams of Los Angeles, California is now 17-0.  Grayton of Washington. D.C. is 15-3-1.

 

 

 

Three-time Olympian, Anvar Yunusov was impressive as he dropped Angel Monreal twice in round one, and got the stoppage win at 2:39 of that opening frame,

 

 

 

Yunusov scored both of those knockdowns with hard left hands, with the finishing blow being a left that sent Monreal plummeting to the deck.

 

 

 

Yunusov of Tajikistan who now resides in Philadelphia is 5-0 with two knockouts.  Monreal of Monterrey, Mexico is 10-11-1.

 

 

 

Alejandro Jimenez won a four-round unanimous decision over Jerrod Miner in a bantamweight bout.

 

 

 

Jimenez of New Hope, PA won by scores of 40-36 on all cards, and is now 3-0.  Miner of Philadelphia is 1-2-1.

 

 

 

Keeshawn Williams won a four-round unanimous decision over Farhad Fatulla in a welterweight contest.

 

 

 

Williams was the quicker and more skilled fighter, who flashed a piston jab that cut the left eye of Fatulla.  Williams won by 40-36 scores on all cards.

 

 

 

Williams of Washington, D.C. is 3-0-1.  Fatulla of Salt Lake City, Utah is 1-2.

 

 

 

Daiyann Butt remained undefeated by winning a four-round unanimous decision over Anthony Smith in a junior welterweight fight.

 

 

 

Butt of Philadelphia won by scores of 40-36 on all cards, and is now 2-0.  Smith of Fresno, California is 1-3.

 

 

 

Yueri Andujar made an impressive pro debut by taking out previously undefeated Crystian Peguero in the 3rd round of their scheduled four-round featherweight bout.

 

 

 

Andujar used his height to land wicked combinations that hurt Peguero throughout the contest.

 

 

 

The fight culminated in round three when Andujar landed a booming uppercut that rocked Peguero.  With Peguero hurt, Andujar landed three more crushing shots, and the bout was stopped at 2:06.

 

 

 

Andujar of Reading, PA is 1-0 with one knockout.  Peguero of Philadelphia is 2-1.

 

 

 

James Bernadin made a successful pro debut with a 3rd round stoppage over Christopher Burgos in a super featherweight battle.

 

 

 

In round two, Burgos began to bleed under his left eye.  In round three, Bernadin landed a right-left combination that was followed by a booming right to the head that dropped Burgos.  Burgos got to his feet, but wobbled and the fight was stopped at 2:19.

 

 

 

Bernadin of Lancaster, PA is 1-0 with one knockout.  Burgos of Philadelphia is 1-3-1.

 

 

 

Shyngyskhan Tazhibay remained perfect by winning a four-round unanimous decision over Justin Johnson in a welterweight bout.

 

 

 

Tazhibay of Washington, D.C. won by scores of 40-36 and 39-37 twice, and is now 7-0.  Johnson of Pittsburgh, took the fight on one day notice is 6-18-6.

The 30 year-old Robinson has won 10 straight fights, and has quickly established himself as one of the top super middleweight prospects in the country.  The 2 year-pro is coming off a eight-round unanimous decision over Oscar Riojas on April 6th at the 2300 Arena,

 

 

 

Amuza of Prichard, Alabama by way of Ghana, has an impressive mark of 24-3 with 22 knockouts.

 

 

 

The 35 year-old Amuzu is an eight-year professional, who is coming off a knockout win over David Okai on April 30th in Accra, Ghana

 

 

 

In the co-feature undefeated super feather Anvar Yunusov will take on Angel Monreal in a bout scheduled for eight-rounds.

 

 

 

Yunusov is a three-time Olympian from his native Tajikstan, competed in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 games.

 

 

 

As a professional, Yunusov is 3-0 with wins over Justin Savi (30-12-2) and Deo Kizito (3-1).

 

 

 

Monreal of Monterrey, Mexico has a record of 10-10-1 with 3 knockouts.

 

 

 

Monreal, 30, is a nine-year pro and has a career best win over Daniel Reta (4-1).

 

 

 

In his last bout, Monreal lost to Jabar Zayani on August 18, 2017 in Studio City, California.

 

 

 

Also in an eight-round bout, Raeese Aleem (11-0, 5 KOs) of Las Vegas returns to the scene of his best victory to date, when he takes on Alcides Santiago (6-2, 5 KOs) of Arecibo, Puerto Rico in a super bantamweight bout.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ. (May 15, 2018):–The eyes of the boxing world will once again be on Atlantic City when Evander Holyfield’s The Real Deal Boxing makes it’s Atlantic City debut on Saturday, June 2nd at the Adrian Phillips Theater inside Boardwalk Hall as part of the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame Weekend.

 

 

 

With Evander Holyfield as the lead inductee in this year’s Hall of Fame class, The Real Deal Boxing, in association with Mis Downing Promotions and the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame, has put together a sensational card featuring world class fighters along with a who’s who of local talent.

 

 

 

Headlining the evening will be The Real Deal Boxing’s top 10 ranked featherweight contender, Toka Kahn Clary (24-1, 17 KOs). The Liberian born southpaw, now based out of Providence, Rhode Island is set to take on Mexico’s Emmanuel Dominguez (22-6-2, 14 KOs) in what promises to be an action-packed high stakes fight for the NABA Featherweight Title.

 

 

 

In preparation for the title shot, Clary is currently on the west coast working with Hall of Fame trainer, Freddie Roach at The Wildcard Boxing Gym in Hollywood.

 

 

 

“This has been a long, hard training camp. I’ve been pushing myself ten times harder than usual with no distractions other than missing my family.”, explains Clary. “All I do out here is concentrate on boxing. I have a great support team, starting with a new addition, Freddie Roach.”

 

 

 

Clary has impressed Roach throughout the past few weeks of training as well.

 

 

 

“So far training camp has been great,” insists Roach, the 7-time winner of BWAA Trainer of the Year award. “I’m continually impressed with Toka’s speed, power and overall skills. The next 3 weeks we will be concentrating on sharpening all the tools and come June 2nd, Team Clary will be ready.”

 

 

 

The undercard features an exciting mix of The Real Deal Boxing prospects and a host of next generation New Jersey and Philadelphia based fighters who are willing to be tested early in their careers.

 

 

 

The Real Deal Boxing’s Rayonta Whitfield (29-2, 15 KOs), who fights out of Augusta, Georgia will challenge former NABO champion and the pride of Cleveland, Ohio, Antonio Nieves (17-2-2, 9 KOs) in an 8 round bout that should see the winner move into contender status in the bantamweight division.

 

 

 

Dagoberto Aguero (13-0, 9 KOs), the undefeated super bantamweight from Florida and one of The Real Deal Boxing’s most promising prospects, will take on the toughest challenge of his career in New Brunswick, New Jersey’s Jorge Diaz (19-5-1, 10 KOs) in an 8 round clash.

 

 

 

The Real Deal Boxing’s undefeated Philadelphia based lightweight prospect, Steven Ortiz (8-0, 3 KOs) will take on Massachusetts’ Zack Ramsey (8-3, 4 KOs) in an 8 round bout.

 

 

 

Atlantic City’s very own, Anthony Young (18-2, 6 KOs) will put his excellent record on the line against the Bronx’s Enver Halili (10-1, 3 KOs) in an 8 round welterweight clash.

 

 

 

In a Philly vs. AC bragging rights battle, Alejandro Jiminez (1-0, 1 KO) will take on Dallas Holden (1-2) in a 4 round featherweight bout.

 

 

 

Promising Philadelphia welterweight and recent The Real Deal Boxing signee, Poindexter Knight (3-0, 2 KOs) will look to maintain his perfect record against an opponent to be named in a 4 round bout.

 

 

 

Brandon Robinson (10-1, 7 KOs) of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, one of the busiest fighters in the game having fought an unbelievable 9 times last year, will appear against an opponent to be named in a 6 round super middleweight bout. Robinson is signed to Marshall Kauffman’s Kings Promotions.

 

 

 

Undefeated Bowie, Maryland native and a member of The Real Deal Boxing roster, Greg Outlaw (4-0, 1 KO) will take on Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey’s Dan Murray (3-1-1) in a 6 round junior welterweight battle.

 

 

 

Rounding out the stacked card will be two fighters making their pro debuts in separate 4 round bouts.

 

 

 

Decorated national amateur champion, super bantamweight, Sacred Downing of Trenton, New Jersey will take on an opponent to be named and super lightweight, Dalyonn Butt of Philadelphia will take on the Bronx’s Samuel Forjue (0-2).

Aleem decisions Bates in a battle of undefeated super bantamweights
 Knight, Ortiz, Okoth and Cannida remain undefeated
Philadelphia, PA (April 10, 2018) – This past Friday night, super middleweight Brandon Robinson won his 10th straight bout as he won a eight-round unanimous decision over Oscar Riojas in the headline bout of a seven-bout card at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
The show was promoted by King’s Promotions.
Robinson dropped Riojas with a left hand in the first round, and he was never challenged against the awkward veteran Riojas.
Robinson, 167.3 lbs of Philadelphia, PA won by scores of 80-71 twice, and 79-72 to rise his mark to 10-1.  Riojas, 168.8 lbs of Monterrey, Mexico is 16-9-1.
In a battle of undefeated super bantamweights Raeese Aleem was impressive in winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Marcus Bates.
Aleem scored a knockdown in the opening frame from a left hand.  Aleem continued to push the action by taking the lead, while Bates tried to counter, but it was the effective punching Aleem.  Aleem won by scores of 80-71 & 79-72 twice.
Aleem, 121.9 lbs of Las Vegas is now 11-0.  Bates, 122.9 lbs of Washington, DC is 8-1-1.
Colby Madison and Guillermo Del Rio battled to a six-round majority draw in a heavyweight bout.
Madison was able to draw blood from Del Rio’s right nostril in round three, but Del Rio was able to match Madison punch for punch.  Madison took a card 58-56, while two cards read even at 57-57.
Madison, 247.9 lbs of Owings Mills, MD is 6-0-2.  Del Rio, 198.8 lbs of South Houston, Texas is 2-2-1.
Poindexter Knight went the distance for the first time, but still came out with an a easy four-round unanimous decision over Vincent Floyd in a welterweight bout.
Knight knocked Floyd down in round one with a nice left-right combination.
Knight, 149.3 lbs of Philadelphia won by scores of 40-35 on all cards and is now 3-0.  Floyd, 148.3 lbs of Philadelphia is 3-5-1.
Joshafat Ortiz remained undefeated by pounding out a four-round unanimous decision over Evgueny Metchenov in a junior light bout.
Ortiz landed hard shots that drew blood from the nose of Metchenov in round two.  Ortiz won by 40-36 scores on all cards.
Ortiz, 131.5 lbs of Reading, PA is 3-0.  Metchenov, 130.7 lbs of Forrestville, MD is 0-2.
Denis Okoth won a four-round split decision over Rasheed Johnson in a welterweight fight.
Okoth took two cards by scores of 40-36 and 39-37, while Johnson won a card 39-37.
Okoth, 143.9 lbs of Siaya, KEN is 2-0-1.  Johnson, 147.3 lbs of Philadelphia is 3-2.
Kendall Cannida won a four-round unanimous decision over Carlos Villenueva in a light heavyweight bout,
Cannida sealed the fight with a final round knockdown that came from a nice three-punch combination, and won by scores of 39-36 on all cards.
Cannida, 178.1 lbs of Philadelphia is 2-0.  Villenueva, 173.2 lbs of Philadelphia was making his pro debut.
